I see Sheamus beating HHH for another heel win....I also see Punk beating Rey for another heel win....the rest of the way, it's faces.....I think they'll let the heels win that won't piss off the fans too much....other than that, they're going to have the faces look like gods and send the fans home happy. Thats my ideas.....fuckers! Already ordered it....going to relax, work on some homework and enjoy the show. |

5/10. Alright.
I read the results, and caught a stream of the final two matches... Cena/Batista was a pretty standard affair. HBK/Taker- WOW. Great match, as good as last years... plus a very emotional ending.

Vickie jumping off the top ropes....was terrible. I know she was doing a tribute for Eddie, and I can respect that. I'm sure her heart still aches for the loss of her husband....but seriously, that woman should NEVER EEEEEEEVER jump off the top ropes again. Heels won. Stupid match.Unified Tag Team Champion Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth My Prediction: ShowMiz I was right about this. The match was so-so, but the ending was SHIT. Big Show was supposed to hit a huge knock out punch to Morrison, but it looked terrible....and then, they showed it again after the match from a different angle and it looked even worse. I wasn't impressed with the match, but I was glad Big Show got his WM win. He deserves it. I like the guy.Triple H vs. Sheamus My Prediction: Sheamus I was wrong again. Damn! I couldn't believe HHH beat him. The match itself was pretty good. HHH had some new moves, which was pretty badass....nothing spectacular, but it was a solid match. I wish Sheamus had won....but, I'm a huge HHH fan, so I guess I'm ok with HHH getting the WM win....I would however like to see Sheamus whoop HHH's ass next month at Extreme Rules!Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes My Prediction: Randy Orton I was right. Rhodes had on the ugliest outfit EVER. Burnt orange shorts with white boots? Ewww....looked terrible. The match itself was pretty sweet. I liked it. I loved how the fans hated to cheer Orton, but they kinda did....he's the new Austin....but in my eyes....a better Austin. I think a tweener Orton who will go after ANYONE will be badass.CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio My Prediction: CM Punk I only picked CM Punk because I thought they were going to keep the feud going. The match was pretty good....but, to be honest, there were quite a few screw ups/botched moves which sucked....all in all though, I liked it....I wish they had CM Punk win so this feud could go on....I'd give the match an A- overall....Rey wins, who cares....I hope Punk moves up and takes out someone even bigger now.Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Kane vs. Bourne vs. MVP vs. Christian vs. Captain Ziggles vs. Benjamin vs. Swagger vs. Matt Hardy vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston My Prediction: Christian CAGEEEEEE I was wrong....and I can guarantee you that EVERYONE is shocked. I LOVE THIS MOVE....I've always liked Jack Swagger, everyone knows this....but he had fallen off the radar as of late....him winning is awesome to me....I really hope they build him up, and then let him actually challenge someone....not just get a win after someone is already beaten....Jack Swagger was a good ECW Champion....he could be a good WWE or World Heavyweight Champion as well. (I still hope Christian Cage gets a shot soon) There were also a lot of botched moves in this match, but, when you've got so many ladders involved and so many people, it's bound to happen I guess.Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon My Prediction: Bret Hart I WAS RIGHT....It was awesome....Vince gets a huge bravo from me....he took a beating of a lifetime against Bret....after a while, the chair shots almost made me want to look away because they were hard shots....I mean, Bret didn't hold anything back....I loved it. Great way to end the feud.WWE Champion Batista vs. John Cena My Prediction: John Cena I was right....I wish I had been wrong. Cenas the champion AGAIN....fuck him. I get so tired of seeing him as the champion....most likely, I'll start watching Smackdown more than Raw again. I'm glad TNA is on Mondays as well. When Cena had the STFU locked in on Batista, it never looked real. It never looked like he really had it locked in. It was terrible. Also, these two botched A LOT of moves. Gay.World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs. Edge My Prediction: Edge I was wrong, and I'm SOOOOO glad I was....I love Chris Jericho, and he SHOULD be the champion on Smackdown. I really hope they let him keep the title for a while....send Christian over the Smackdown, build him up, and let these two kick ass together. I would love that. Again, I'm a fan of Edge, but I'm so glad Jericho kept the title.The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels My Prediction: The Undertaker Sadly, I was right. From the look on HBK's face, it looks like this really might be it. Thats sad to me. That match was the reason I spent 54.99 for the PPV....if it was his last match, I wanted to see it. As a kid, HBK was my all time favorite....as an adult, I love the guy. I don't know if there is anyone else in the business who can make a match as good as he can. Maybe Kurt Angle, maybe....but HBK is THE MAN....he gave A LOT to the WWE....I wish he had one more title run....but if it's time for him to hang up the boots, then so be it....I'm glad I got to see him wrestle for so many years. The match was incredible. I seriously wonder if Taker hurt his knee....seemed like he really did....the match was phenominal....nothing more to say really. I get really excited, and my poor fiancee has to deal with it....I won't get another PPV until next years WM. Was this one one of the best ever? No....was it good? Yeah, not too shabby....but not great either, and in my eyes....every WM should be GREAT. All in all, I give the show a C+ or B-....had Cena lost, I would have given it a B+ I think  What did you guys think about it? |

I was 5/8 cause I never redid to add Punk/Rey but, I told my cousin Rey would win. I'd have to say Edge vs Jericho was my fave of the night. I wore my Edge wristbands. I was rooting him on but, so not dissapointed that Jericho won! hahaha
I thought WM was cool. I liked the angle during Bret/Vince with the Hart family and Hart foundation

I felt the show wasn't anything special. I hate that I feel that way.
The Good:
- Orton brought back the pose. I freaking love that pose!
- JERICHO JERICHO JERICHO
- Friends and I coming to the conclusion that the back of Batista's head looks like a scrotum. We dubbed him "Scrotum Skull"
- Cena's DDT bump. That looked brutal.
- Sharpshooter
- Kane almost throwing half the ladder into the crowd. Many good laughs were had.
- Bourne's Shooting Star Press
- Cena posing with the haters. I noticed it, too, Sean. Pretty ballsy.
The Meh:
- HHH/Sheamus
- Swagger. I don't have strong feelings either way. They haven't messed up MITB, yet, but Swagger has a long way to go to be credible. They never even used him on RAW.
- Bret/Vince. Bret can't go, and it hurt me to watch at points. That said, the Hart Dynasty could use this to springboard onto something better.
- Tag Title match.
The Bad:
- Vickie's Frog Splash
- The Divas
- Cody's wardrobe. We said the same thing, Timmy. Not even the Triforce on the boots saved him.
- HBK/Taker ending. Taker showing pity to HBK sucked. Winning a hard fought battle is one thing, but putting a guy out of his misery like HBK/Flair at WM 24 is lame. Hated it.
- HBK/Taker. The match was plodding and slow. I didn't like it. It didn't use the No DQ stip. They could have gone hardcore. I never believed Taker was in danger of losing except for one point (Superkick near the end). Edge/Jericho played the leg injury correctly. This match didn't do it.
- Cena's entrance. Terrible by his standards.

i agree with timbo. i didnt watch wrestlemania to critique it, i watched it and felt like a kid. i did think cenas entrance was dumb though. anyone hear any rumors for the draft coming up soon?

Swagger winning was the shocker of the night. I thought for sure it'd be between Kofi, Christian, and McIntyre (since they seem to be pushing him for some reason).
I'm really, REALLY hoping we see a Edge vs. Christian vs. Jericho feud soon- that would totally reek of awesomeness.

I watched it with expectations and not all of them were met.
As a huge HBK fan, I hate to think he went out with a match that was FAR below his standards. Going out on last year's match would have been great. They set the bar too high with the first one, I think. They just had no chance to reach it, and I'm not sure they even tried.

not yours, sades. sorry. i thought hbk/taker II was awesome. they had me believing hbk was going to win. was it as good as the first, nah, but i think taker hurt his leg in the beginning, and that hurt the match. not as good as the ffirst, but it was still fucking awesome in my eyes.
