No man who can bring people together for a common cause can be bad! It's never happened in history. I know. I checked.

Obamacare does shit for anyone other than forcing you to buy insurance. I get States forcing you to buy car insurance because driving is a choice, but health insurance? FUCK NO! It should be a State initiative, anyway. Also, we have to find money to pay for insurance or get fined. Okay, say we do it, then we have to meet a deductible before insurance chips in anything. When it's all said and done, you could easily spend over a grand before insurance helps you out. How does this encourage preventative care that Obama championed on the campaign path? Not to mention the fact that many will pick the cheapest insurance that will do little to no good. Due to insurance being compulsory now, it kills any capitialistic influence. How much would companies really compete for customers when they know the populace is forced to pick one?

Prop 8 is another State's business. They made that decision. It doesn't affect me. I'm more worried about CA trying to legalize weed, which will make it hell for surrounding States if it happens. The importing and exporting will drive up crime on border States.

Much like Obama, Sarah Palin's a celebrity first. Novelty that is packaged like snake oil. Sure, she and I have similar beliefs, but by opening her life up, we can all see that it's a mess. That inspires no confidence in someone who seeks public office. She's free to cash in, but the price for it was however much credibility she gained. Maybe she can get it back, but it wouldn't be before 2012.
