It's not just a PPV- it's EXTREME!!!!!!! Predictions, bitching, etc. Shad Gaspard vs. JTG (Strap Match)It seems like 99% of the time, when a tag team splits up, it's so that they can push the heel one. Shad is gonna win this one. I think it's a shame that these guys never got a tag title run- they're entertaining in the ring and on the mic. Remember when they were with Cena? Imagine if Cena hadn't gotten injured- that would have been a great push for them. Anyway, I'm betting that Shad wins, and then gets drafted to RAW and get a decent US Title feud down the line (I'd love a match with him and Kofi). I'm guessing they'll stick JTG with a new tag partner (R-Truth, maybe?). This could be the sleeper hit of the night, if they're given enough time. Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk (If Punk loses, his head gets shaved)Punk will win. I just can't see him shaving his head- yet. I think they could keep this feud going if Punk wins; maybe the next PPV, they could combine the WM and ER stipulations: Rey wins, Punk shaves his head; Punk wins, Rey joins SXE. But for now- Punk. (By the way- isn't Extreme Rules supposed to be all hardcore matches? What's so "extreme" about shaving a head?) Triple H vs. Sheamus (Street Fight)I think Sheamus will steal a victory. It'll make him look like the monster they're building him up to be, and since it's a street fight, Triple H won't look quite as weak. Edge vs. Chris Jericho (Steel Cage Match)Edge will win. Then he'll be drafted to RAW. WWE Champion John Cena vs. Batista (Last Man Standing Match)I really didn't want to see this match again. Ugh. I'll go with Batista. Lord knows they'll want to drag this shit out. World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton (Extreme Rules Match)Why the hell is it Swagger vs. Orton? They seriously missed out on a stellar match with Swagger/Edge/Jericho (I know they did it on Smackdown already, but come on!) It seems like they always fuck with the titles around the Draft. I'm guessing Orton wins and then gets drafted to Smackdown. Should be a good match. Side note: this is the promo image on WWE.com: www.wwe.com/content/media/touts/feature/29062/13968700Evil Ronald McDonald! EDIT: Women's Champion Michelle McCool vs. Beth Phoenix (Extreme Makeover Match)"Extreme Makeover Match"? Ugh. Um... Phoenix.

Shad Gaspard vs. JTG (Strap Match) - I did not know these two were split up. I don't watch Smackdown very much so I didn't know. Who is heel, who is face? Ugh. Ummm, I'll follow the crowd and say Shad wins. Not sure why, but I'll go with it for the hell of it.
Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk (If Punk loses, his head gets shaved) - Definitely Punk. Rey will have the WM win. Punk will have this win. They'll have a tie breaker at the next PPV.
Triple H vs. Sheamus (Street Fight) - They can't have Sheamus lose again. Also, I've heard he might be traded to Smackdown (I hope not)....they'll build him back up either way and have him beat HHH. I'm guessing the feud isn't over though. They'll fight again.
Edge vs. Chris Jericho (Steel Cage Match) - Edge. Don't know about the drafted to Raw thing, but Jericho has the WM win, so Edge gets this one.
WWE Champion John Cena vs. Batista (Last Man Standing Match) - They need a way to screw John Cena over, otherwise, they'll have Cena win. If they have Batista lose again, he looks like the shittiest heel ever. Batista NEEDS this win. Nothing else needs to be said. With that said, I think Batista will win somehow.
World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton (Extreme Rules Match) - They need to let Swagger have his time with the belt. The only way I'm ok with Swagger losing is if he chases Orton for a month/month and a half, and then wins it back. Orton is great, but he doesn't need the belt right now. Let him get drafted to SD. Let him chase after Swagger for another month or two....Swagger deserves a decent run as champion.
On a side note: This PPV is SHIT. No tag team championship match. No US championship match. No IC championship match. A lot of great names are left off the PPV which is lame. Where is Christian Cage? Kofi? Miz? Big Show? Morrison? Undertaker? McIntyre? There are a lot of decent guys who could have made this PPV better.
Also, what happened to Ezekiel Jackson? Did he just vanish? He was on a roll and now he's nowheres. I would like to see him come out and screw over John Cena. Then, have John Cena vs. Ezekiel Jackson, and how about this, LET EZEKIEL JACKSON DESTROY JOHN CENA! Let Zeke and Batista become two mean monsters that tear through the roster. Fuck man, WWE is fucking up so bad. I only hope for a good draft, and I hope they start pushing some of these guys who could make the product better, and sit down some of these other guys who don't deserve shit!

What a joke, Extreme? It will be about as Extreme eating ice cream when you got a bad tooth.
Shad Gaspard vs. JTG (Strap Match) Im actually amazed they are investing in this team breaking up. I know this is a pointless PPV, but who would have put money on seeing these 2 guys going at it on a PPV? Anyway, i assume the bigger guy will win seeing as WWE likes the big guys. However they could go for a suprise and let the babyface JTG get the win. If the WWE were smart, they would give JTG the win and let them fight it out again further down the road and actually TRY and make 2 half decent midcard talents out of this team. who i want to win - JTG who i predict will win - Gaspard
Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk (If Punk loses, his head gets shaved) PLEASE let them have 15 minutes, i think they got 6 at WM in what could have been such a great match, it was good but they got shafted on the time. This PPV could be saved by giving the right people the right amount of time. Regards the stip, i really do not think it is time to shave Punks head. And i think Punk needs to start winning some matches, whilst his heel character can handle a loss, he needs wins to maintain his spot at the lower main event level. I wish this feud was for the SD World title. Mysterio is apparently needing knee surgery. Will this be the time he takes it after a beating from the SES, only for him to return for revenge? who knows. who i want to win - CM Punk who i predict will win - CM Punk
Triple H vs. Sheamus (Street Fight) He failed to get the 'Batista' treatment at WM which i was actually kinda shocked about. I thought HHH was going to put this guy on the map on the big stage. You know what, i do not think HHH is as much of a bastard backstage as we think, either that or his input is not as strong. If it were, HHH would have been main event at WM and thats that. Anyway, Shamus needs a win, and like when he beat Cena, he can do so in this match without it hurting the big star very much at all. Such a shame the WWE is PG right now. The images of Shamus standing over a beaten and bloodied HHH could do great thinks for him. who i want to win - Shamus who i predict will win - Shamus
Edge vs. Chris Jericho (Steel Cage Match) This should have been a 3 way with Swagger for the belt, the SD match was a really good TV match and could have been even better as a PPV main event. However these 2 have the skills to steal the show and i hope they do. Edge is suffering right now as a face, he is soooooo much better as a heel. Problem is he comes across as phoney as a face. Orton has managed to retain his heel actions and still get cheers, Edge has lost all the things that made him enjoyable to watch outside of his matches. Bring back Edge & Vickie! Jericho i think is the greatest performer in the world today, all round i can not pick better. who i want to win - Jericho who i predict will win - Edge
WWE Champion John Cena vs. Batista (Last Man Standing Match) I am happy to see this again, they did a fine job at WM, much better than was expected. Heel Batista has been awesome and he should have been allowed a big WM win to really push his new character, instead the same old boring Cena got the win to get the crowd pop...or boo, depends who you looked for in the crowd. I heard rumors that Dave is pissed right now because he has been pushed aside for a film role in favour of HHH. If it means heel Batista stays whilst face HHH takes time off, im all for it! I would love to see Batista destroy Cena and take the belt. No longer do i care about the amount of times the belt changes hands, that ship sailed a long time ago. who i want to win - Batista who i predict will win - Cena
World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton (Extreme Rules Match) This shows the way WWE works, suddenly pushing Orton into a match with Swagger. Now Swagger is the World Champion, which is an SD title, yet they kept saying 'were will Swagger take the belt'? Thats stupid and insulting to the fans, it is the SD belt so Swagger goes to SD. Simple. And now they put a Raw superstar in the spot to challenge for it? Nice clear, simple booking by the WWE! Orton is great, but i in no way want to see him take the belt from Swagger so quickly. Swagger is getting into a stride right now, the more serious character is working in my eyes. He is good in the ring and will get better and better. Orton does not need the belt, and if he is now a face then it is better for him to be chasing the title. Swagger could be the suprise of the year if the WWE allow him to look like a main event superstar. However, lossing to the undertaker and then to Morrison on SD does not make me confident. who i want to win - Swagger who i predict will win - Orton
I am not purchasing this PPV.

By the way- why are they making Swagger look so weak? He had a great non-title match with Undertaker on RAW but lost... and then lost a non-title match against freaking John Morrison? Don't get me wrong, Morrison is great... but a loss against him is really stupid. Taker I could understand, and was actually impressed with how well Swagger did.
I see two scenarios here... either it means that Swagger will look like the underdog against Orton, but still retain the belt... OR... it just proved that he was in over his head when he cashed the MitB, and that will lead to a storyline for the upcoming MitB PPV. But I think I'll stick with my original prediction- Orton wins.

WWE Champion John Cena def. Batista (Last Man Standing Match) (I read that Batista is leaving the WWE THIS WEEK....I did not realize that. Had any of us known, we would have ALL picked Cena. You know damn well Batista will leave and go directly to TNA to be with Ric Flair and AJ Styles.)
World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger def. Randy Orton (Extreme Rules Match) (A lot of us called this. I think they did the right thing by letting Swagger keep the title. He deserves a decent run.)
Edge def. Chris Jericho (Steel Cage Match) (I was right about this one too. You knew Edge would come out with the win. It makes both men look strong. Jericho won at WM and Edge won the steel cage match. Everyone wins. I have heard that Edge is headed back to Raw, and if that is the case, these two split their wins. Everyone wins.)
Sheamus def. Triple H (Street Fight) (I was right again. HHH needed to take the loss here and he did. I'm glad.)
CM Punk def. Rey Mysterio (Punk keeps his hair) (I think we ALL knew Punk would not lose this match. Glad he won.)
Beth Phoenix def. Michelle McCool in an Extreme Makeover Match (New Women's Champion) (Didn't know about this match, but I'm glad she won. Beth is one of the best in the WWE. Steve Austin is trying to get the WWE to sign Awesome Kong. Imagine if she came into the WWE? She could be great for the Womens Division. Could be the start of something grea....ah fuck it, the WWE's women division will always blow!)
The Hart Dynasty wins Tag Team Gauntlet Match (Earns Tag Title Match on Raw) (I can't imagine who was in this match, but it's pretty lame that they had this match but didn't have a tag team title match. I don't understand it. Oh well)
JTG def. Shad Gaspard (Strap Match) (I was wrong about this one....but again, I knew absolutely NOTHING about this feud. I didn't even know they weren't together anymore.)
It sounds like nothing EXTREME happened on this PPV (shocked?) I'm not!
Draft is tonight....I hope something awesome happens. Christian NEEDS to go to Smackdown so he can get a decent push. Personally, I'd be ok with the WWE releasing some more of their "dead weight" and just having one brand again. There could be some awesome feuds with just one brand. I don't think they'd do it, but I'd be alright with it.

Shad Gaspard vs. JTG (Strap Match) who i want to win - JTG who i predict will win - Gaspard who ACTUALLY won - JTG Im fine with that. I heard the match got a lame reaction, but what did the WWE expect, the fans have not been given much reason to invest in these guys. Maybe if they had been a more successful team then this would mean more. Anyway, glad JTG got the win, if nothing else it makes it a little more interesting. I think the WWE could do a lot worse than push these guys solidly as mid card talent.
Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk (If Punk loses, his head gets shaved) who i want to win - CM Punk who i predict will win - CM Punk who ACTUALLY won - CM Punk Thats the right call. I heard this is the match of the night, which is no shocker. I also heard that the 'masked man' who helped out CM Punk is actually Whitey Ford! Well, actually i heard it was Joey Mercury. He did have a shaved head last time i saw him!
Triple H vs. Sheamus (Street Fight) who i want to win - Shamus who i predict will win - Shamus who ACTUALLY won - Shamus Another right decision. If they had let HHH win then Shamus would be seen as a failure. However, i hear HHH certainly got himself over as the challenger to the 'Super Cena' character.
Edge vs. Chris Jericho (Steel Cage Match) who i want to win - Jericho who i predict will win - Edge who ACTUALLY won - Edge I knew Edge would win, but i can not be happy about it. Jericho is superior and Edge just is not right as a face. He should have lost and used it as a way to slowly turn heel again. Anyway, i heard this was not as good as it should have been. (Angle/Kennedy at Lockdown is being talked of as one of the best Cage matches in recent memory, i need to see it!)
WWE Champion John Cena vs. Batista (Last Man Standing Match) who i want to win - Batista who i predict will win - Cena who ACTUALLY won - Cena I heard Batista was taking time off for a movie, then i heard HHH got the spot instead, i did not know Batista was now leaving. If he is not leaving then i want the belt on him over Cena. Due to this being BULLSHIT EXTREME RULES, Cena could not beat Batista so badly so it was legit he could not get up, they came up with Cena taping Batista up with duck tape so he could not stand. Lame.
World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton (Extreme Rules Match) who i want to win - Swagger who i predict will win - Orton who ACTUALLY win - Swagger I am pleased to have been wrong. I hear this match was good, Swagger was booked well and basically got a clean win. Great stuff.
Also, ShoMiz turned up at the beginning, declaring that they were the best etc etc. Teddy Long then sent out Morrison/R Truth, who lost, he then sent out Henry/MVP, who lost and then sent out the Hart Dynasty, who WON. They get a title shot tonight on Raw. Regards Morrison, they guy must not know what is happening with his career. He losses tag matches but then is also booked to beat the World Champion (albeit Jack Swagger). Morrision can put on A+ matches and needs to be booked consistantly strong.
Overall, it appears the show was OK, was it extreme...no, not in the slightest. young fans might have brought into the extreme billing, but we know what the glory days of the Attitude Era and the real ECW brought and now everything else is a watered down let down.
Oh, and ill cry if Awesome Kong comes to the WWE. They billed Mickie James as fat, what the hell will happen to Kong? If the WWE used the women properly then it would be great, but Gail Kym was once the highlight of TNA programming, along with Kong. Kym is now just another cookie cutter Diva.
OH...and i thought i had to pay for this ppv last night, so i didnt bother, just realised it was on free TV (well, Sky Sports) in the UK. Oh well.

You really think Whitey Ford would join SES?
That's interesting, actually...
