the results are up.
i have done what i can in the current climate, 2 RPs in the whole week, 1 of which was mine.
please note - i am not posting a show card for next week.
i am tired of trying to make things interesting, whilst i love to write and am happy to be as creative as possible, until this place is officiall finished with i am not comfortable with using peoples characters in the way i see fit.
if the AWA closes the RPing side of things, and everyone agrees then id be happy to write shows from time to time, knowing that there is no reason for anyone to bitch when 'their character' gets beaten or whatever.
ANYWAY. If people want to RP this week then they should.
if there is some activity i will take a view and post a show next monday that is relevant to the RPs.
of course, If Timmy wants to post a card then he will, im not sure.
Luke.

Maybe the next evolution is to have RP matches for PPVs, but have SL Anarchys? Say Luke and I were feuding. We knew what was going to happen and submit our storyline. From there, we react and RP about the shows without anything being forced, then kick it into high gear for the PPV. It also stretches feuds out, so we don't recycle "real" matches so quickly. Just a thought.
The owners (along with player input) can get their creative jones fulfilled by writing the shows, then, hopefully, we shine at the PPV.

a good thought.
however people will need to understand that their characters may well loss on the road to a PPV, as it will all be SL based leading to the week before the big show.
hopefully the boys would trust me and Timmy to handle their characters on the 'tv shows' without a backlash of bitching.
other than that issue i would be happy to give it a trial.
maybe starting after BOC.
actually, my only other issue would be that it would kinda suck if we built an SL all month and then no one actually RPs for the PPV.
ah, nothings perfect so i guess we can give it a go.

Even if no one RPs for the PPV, I think that gives you liberties to book it the way you think is best. Then you can carry on with the SL you have been working on.

I would like everyones opinions about this....I think it's one of the more serious topics we'll have to discuss....so please everyone, let me know what you think about this....do you think we should close down, and between Luke and I, we write up storylined shows? I mean....if we were to do that, we technically could bring back some of the old school guys for the storylines....why not bring back guys like Ayatolla, Sheldon Reese, Croc, Jonas Lee, Justin Voss, Cash Quarters etc....if it's all JUST storylined, then I don't see why not. This whole "storylined" thing is exactly what I was doing when I created the seperate brand for the AWA....I was super busy....didn't have time, but knew I wanted to write from time to time....so I created a seperate federation that was just storylined....A storylined fed with all the greats that have been in our feds would be fun for reading....IF WE HAD FUN IDEAS....but then, the "game" is over, and now, it's just a forum to come and read about a fake wrestling fed....so seriously, there is a lot to think about....if this entire fed becomes JUST storylined, then people can RP whenever they want to RP, but those RP's will not count unless two people agree to them counting for a certain week....I'm cool with the idea, just because I think it would be cool to bring back a lot of the classic guys....think about it....and let us know....it's a big decision....I'm alright with either one....honestly, leaning a little more toward the full storylined federation where people can RP if they want, but in the end, it's just storylined based....but it might just be an excitement thing for me right now. I'm interested in what you all think....so let us know ASAP!

looking back at the old RPs, May 2009 was a good month for the AWA.
makes me sad to see the difference a year makes.

I am happy to see Timmy on board with my idea. With him and Luke creating some good shows (and maybe a few of us tossing ideas), the legacy can live on. Plus I'd love to have an option to express my creativity. I still love to write after all.

Although I've been forced to take a leave of absense, sort of, again...having SL anarchy shows would work well, but only with a group like us. It'd give us a chance to write and not get burned out every week, but what about any new fedders that may stumble upon the page? Its a great idea, but I'm afraid it may turn off new talent. Its hard enough to find as it is.
Just a thought.

to be honest, we have not had much of an influx of new guys coming on the board.
and i think having shows booked, but no RPs would look worse than a monthly show, SL random shows and some RPs that relate to something.
thats my thoughts anyway!
