From NoDQ.com:
I don't really watch TNA, but I follow it online a bit. When I read the Bound for Glory results, I became really confused with the end of the show- Hardy turning heel, then the formation of a stable with Abyss, Hogan, Bischoff, Jarrett...
At first I assumed that I just wasn't paying that close of attention to this whole "They" storyline that Abyss was doing. But, nope... it's clear that they either didn't know where they were going, or that they just assume the fans are stupid. Probably a bit of both.
A lot of trash was being thrown in the ring at the end of BFG, reminiscent of the formation of nWo... but I honestly think it was because the fans were pissed in the "wrong way," as opposed to the "right way." They felt insulted- and not in a heelish entertaining way.
Ugh.
I'm not saying WWE always plays by logic, either... but this is just plain stupid.

I didn't comment on 'THEY' because it was stupid. I actually watched BFG and I was pissed. As soon as Hogan came out I knew what was happening.....
And I almost cried, I was furious and pissed because it was in insult to all fans. Point blank!

P.S. I LOVED the Tag Match with MCMG but, other than that...I don't know how Timmy watches that CRAP!

From reading it, it sounds decent, but it only works if everyone involved is recognized to be insane. No way sane people wail on each other for this long to set you up.

It gets better on iMPACT.
I had no problem with WCW. I loved the shows. So if they want to make TNA into WCW, that's fine by me. WCW was exciting to watch every week. TNA is set up to be better than WCW with it's athleticism. Where they are in trouble is their booking.
If this goes off and becomes successful, which is very well could be with what happens on iMPACT, then we could be looking at entertaining television in the same way the WCW with the nWo was exciting. Who the fuck are the good guys, better yet-- where are the good guys? Who's going to step up to fight off this heel faction? It doesn't matter who is the answer to those questions, the questions themselves make good tv.
Not to mention, their ability to carry a tag team, womens, and lightweight division and put on GREAT matches. They are smack dab in the middle of being able to steal a lot of viewers right now if they execute and promote this stuff correctly.

And that is the final condemnation of TNA.
It may be fucking stupid, moronic, make no sense, and have lax drug policy. But they can wrestle.

It was nice to see matches with more than 5-10 moves but, the booking is lame. 'THEY' are lame. Abyss is LAME....I dunno....maybe I'll watch impact and give them the benefit of the doubt for a week or two and see what happens but....I was NEVER a fan of Hardy or Hogan so, what makes anyone think that I think them in a stable is a good idea.
This stable only has two wrestlers (Abyss and Hardy) and they aren't that good....Hardy is pretty decent. I hardly count Double J as a wrestler anymore

what i dont understand is this.
For TNA to be a success, they need to be an alternative to WWE, because they are unable to match them at being the same. WWE production is far, far better.
so, with the backing of the big names such as Hogan, Angle, Easy E etc etc TNA should be offering the alternative which has proven in the past to be extremely well received.
X Division, Knockouts and Tag Division.
With the money and the big name backing, pushing these divisions as edgy, exciting and current, TNA would be viewing them to the masses and i am sure it would do the trick.
i am mature enough to accept that whilst we all loved the good times of the X and Knockouts divisions, that allown was not pushing TNA into being a huge, successful company.
TNA needs big names, it needs media attention and it needs money.
I have no issue with Hogan being there, i just wish he had the guts and the nerve to actually back and push a different product, and by that i dont mean the same WWE crap, just with blood.
Hell, Hogan, Flait, Sting and Jarrett can even wrestle for all i care, but in the middle of the card, not at the top of the show and not being pushed as the main attraction.
They should be there for their name value, and when a new fan tunes in because they see Hogan is on the show, they should then tune out having decided to watch again next week because TNA offers something different and offers it at a really high level.
I also enjoyed WCW, but it was a fucking joke in the years towards the end, and TNA does look a lot like WCW in those days and that is not a good thing.
Hogan, Flair, Easy E, Jarrett etc will at some point become physically unable to even do the limited physical work they do now.
and if they do not have something else going on that makes the sponsors want to invest then they will be dead in the water.
im no expert, far from it.
but this stuff is glaringly obvious isnt it?

Very obvious! Even Jericho said:
"WCW couldn't compete with WWE's main events. But what kept the ratings so high were WCW's mid and under card talents"
That's what TNA needs to do!
