Anyone stoked as I am?!  You know why I'm stoked about it? BECAUSE we can now go back to thinking Vampires are actually fucking cool! Thanks to our homosexual parties of Amercia (no disrespect to those who think Gays should have right, or you AJ) Vampires were 'gay-ified' into sparkling creatures that loved....NOT ANYMORE BABY....Lost Boys is going to reclaim Vampires for me! Also, I wish Anne Rice wasn't such a cunt about her franchise. Interview with a Vampire was great, and put Brad Pitt on the map with a quality cast. Queen of the Damned was such a horrible movie. She needs to stop being a cunt and allow Hollywood to take Lestat and give us "[The Book of]Lestat". Right now she's against allowing anyone to write scripts for the movies, she's even against fan fiction.
Tom Cruise would be perfect for reprising the role, he's aged and so was the character in the book. It'd give the people who liked vampire movies another shot, like the new Lost Boys movie to watch a movie that didn't make vampires so fucking gay. Alright, so Lestat wasn't such a heterosexual character, but aside from Dracula, he's a top three vampire in vampire lore history because the character is amazing. (Sadly, he's being brushed aside in this new generation who thinks Twilight is actually good, and because Anne Rice is being a cunt with her stuff.)

making fun of gay people isnt funny to me. too many gay kids have killed themselves for being bullied by others. its not funny and not right. i would never get into a "serious" topic like this, but i get sick of seeing gay people get made fun of. too many lives have been taken because of people being ignorant assholes.

This wasn't a gay-bashing thread. I could understand Lucas if someone had said "We just need to exterminate those queers," but we were making fun of a genre we hate. Gay can work for a lot of stuff, but I think taking symbols of their cultures and applying it to vampires is lame.
