Its easier for me to play the heel against someone like slam because he is trying to be a face and likewise to be a face against kokaine since he wants to be a heel. I figure the best matches will come out when the people. Work well together

I'm big into character study and while Luke dislikes new age, it is very realistic. Human beings are complex. No one is good all the time, and no one is evil all the time. Heels aren't going to be buddy-buddy just because they're heels. Sometimes they really hate each other's guts. I'm not saying it's for the best nor am I saying definition is bad. You have to apply the right touch.
I think the heart of the issue is that everything is intertwined. It's confusing. It can also be a clusterfuck is the payoff sucks. However, if booked well and everyone is willing to do their parts, it can be beautiful. It can be garbage heaped together at the dump or an intricate spider web.
With a small roster, I'd definitely advocate more jobber matches. If you still want to feud with your real opponent, fine, but it doesn't have to be forced. I talked about this with an old acquaintance the other night who bitched that his opponents didn't give him anything. If you're dependent on your opponents, then you won't last long. I'm telling a story. While I'm happy to have co-authors at various points along the way, my character still has a life regardless of what any does or says. That level of confidence equals success. I like to think people were driven to me because of the fact that my work is character-driven and can grow anyone else in association with me (or also the fact that I RP'd consistently at a fairly high level).

i do not dislike it, i just think everyone should be open to other options. Just because something is current does not mean it is correct or the best way of doing something.
an efed is not the same as real life and not the same as 'real' wrestling.
it had to be controlled otherwise it ends up being a bunch of people RPing against each other with no real goal or purpose.
i don't want that.
im not saying heels can not go after heels and faces can not go after faces, of course they can.
but right now we need clear feuds so that clear matches can be made.
i do not want to be thinking 'well, that guy had a verbal confrontation with that guy, but this other guy had a physical one, so ill book those 2 to have a match'
we do not have enough members for that.
no one needs to have all their fingers in all the pies...except of course for Bill.
1 big finger, 1 main pie.
sure, have some side dishes, but make the difference clear.
please.

shut it.
now, for an example.
Slam Senior Vs Donzig.
Senior is in the ring, mocking Donzig and the fans are loving it, cheering along for Don and the Affliction to have their blood spilled!
NO.
This makes no sense, a mixed reaction is possible, but the fans being totally against Don in this situation and totally for him in another is not 'new age', it is madness.
I love the Don/Senior feud, but surely, with both characters being established 'legends' it could be played out more as a 'face vs face / legend vs legend' who hate each others guts type of deal?
anyway, just my observation.

Now when you put it that way it makes sense.
Frost proposed using the smite/exalt as way to keep track for example if something struck you as a face move exalt and if heel to smite.
Or perhaps a second button for such?

It'd never work, Don. We use it for OOC judgements, too.

In that case, why is mine -6?

Liberal propoganda.
I think I remember why you and I teamed up. We were becoming friends because of political leanings, but in BWA, Sean and others dropped my karma to -56. You thought that was unfair because I was such a nice guy and used all 3 of your accounts to exalt me for about 2 weeks until I was even again!
Also, the Jordan Four started on a RP before the fed reopened where AJ hosted a dating show that Donzig, Dustin 'Denigrator' Daniels and Simon Dean were on as they were trying to win a date with Chelsey (can't quite remember her name. Was that it?).

I really do regret the group not breaking up the proper way. Donzig turned, and it was a little anticlimatic. Really wish we had built it more. Not to say the later war between us wasn't great.

Your OOC antics after that match drove everyone up a wall. That irritated me so much. That match itself was crazy. The RPing was intense, and there was no right way to end it. Well, anyone scoring a definitive pin would have been some kind of right. I thought about the first half of 2006 today, and it still bothers me. I get thrown into a battle royal and win a title. Then I don't get to cash it in because of some plan. So I defend against you guys in an epic RP fest, defend against the Assassin in the feud of the year, and lose to Croc in a close match between the titans. Then I get tossed into a match with Dylan that neither of us wants, nor is it explained. I was so happy I was traveling for a month that summer. CWA could be a train wreck, at times. Still trying to remember when the Industry formed. Had to be 2007 . Elite Establishment was short-lived in 2006, then AJ turned heel and had a lackluster feud with MJW (but we made up for it this year). Joined Draven Inc in December 2006 and rode that until the summer of 2007. Think that was when the Industry formed because we were co-champs. I was champ for the whole first eight months of 2007 lol. Then I had an awesome feud with Croc and Whitey over November and December and barely lost out on winning the title in Dec 2007, but was getting ready to walk out. Don't remember much from IWF, but Luke and I came home around August 2008. He was the champ, and I had dull midcard title feuds until I got Chris to be at his best in early 2009 and we had an awesome match in the title tourney. Then the Connection did the face/heel thing until AJ left with Chantelle after being suspicious of MJW, for whatever reason lol. Yes, I had to write that. I forgot the recent history of AJ. It's much richer than I thought it was. Just looked at the championship history, and there was nothing from a year ago Matt, get to work on it. I forgot if I beat MJ for the title or not. I don't think I did. I know I beat him to earn a title match, though.

Bah. AWA Title histories. Bah.
Back in my day championships meant something. Championships of the world.
