The Great Khali vs. Dolph Ziggler: No Count-Out, No DQ
Has Dolph ever been on a PPV before? I don't really recall any... I haven't really ever seen him perform (I rarely have time to watch Smackdown), so I don't know how good he is... I guess it's good that he's getting a shot on a PPV, but let's face it- Khali isn't a good wrestler. I'm expecting this to suck. But, given the storyline, I'll go with Khali to win.


Women's Championship: Melina(c) vs. Michelle McCool
I don't really get to watch much WWE lately... I think the only current Divas I could recognize would be Melina and Beth Pheonix. It seems like there are so many Divas, but I don't care about any of them; they're all look and little skill. I miss the days of Lita, Trish Stratus, Molly Holly, Victoria... they were all entertaining to watch as wrestlers, in addition to their beauty. Now it just seems like all the Divas are put on TV as a pretty face, but there's nothing to really root for. Beth Phoenix is the exception to the rule- she actually had a decent storyline. Melina I just remember from MNM. The only other Divas... I guess Natalya has some potential, but I've yet to see her perform. Anyways, I digress... I'll go with Melina to retain. I guess. I don't really care.


Unified Tag Team Championship: Carlito & Primo (c) vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase
Colons vs. Legacy. I'm going with Legacy. If Orton holds the WWE Title while Rhodes and DiBiase hold the tag titles, it'll help them with their dominance. Should be a good match, though.


John Cena vs. The Miz
Imagine if WWE actually had the balls to let The Miz win. That'd be... well, something else. I've actually loved the storyline behind this- Miz being the classic cocky heel, making highly exaggerated claims against Cena. My only complaint is that Miz doesn't deserve this push. Character-wise, he's perfect. But in terms of his wrestling ability... don't get me wrong, he's gotten much better since he first started, but I still think there are others who deserve his spot more. But I guess it doesn't matter who has the spot- Cena's going to win.


Intercontinental Championship: Chris Jericho(c) vs. Rey Mysterio; Title vs. Mask
Rey will win. It'll be a great match, but Rey will win. Jericho doesn't need the IC Title- he can go back to the World Title hunt, and Rey can do some good stuff with the IC Title (Though I really hope we get to see the World/WWE Title on his again at some point). Plus, Rey is partially defined by his mask. WCW tried to take the mask off him, and it failed.


ECW Championship Scramble Match: Tommy Dreamer (c) vs. Christian vs. Jack Swagger vs. Finlay vs. Mark Henry
The inclusion of Henry makes me dislike this match. But call me crazy, I think he'll win. Swagger, Christian, and Dreamer have been the only ones in the ECW Title Hunt lately; this will shake things up a bit. Christian should win, but I'm going with Henry. Ugh.


World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
I think Punk will solidify his heel turn here. Anyways; this will be the match of the night. I see one of two scenarios- either Punk cheats to win, or Hardy wins and Punk takes him down afterwards. I'm going to say Punk wins; World Title has changed A TON lately. I wish Punk could get a legit title run; his last one was less-than-spectacular due to a lot of outside interference. I get the feeling this one may last longer, but only because heelish Punk cheats to win. But, anyways- yeah, Punk will win.


WWE Champion Randy Orton (c) vs. Triple H: Three Stages of Hell
Though I love Triple H, I do NOT want to see him with the title. It's been done so much already. Luckily I see Orton winning anyways; again, I see all of The Legacy holding titles. The "Three Stages of Hell" gimmick is stupid; these two can put on a good fight without a gimmick. And if they really need a gimmick, put in a good one- HiaC or something. Stretcher Match? Really? Lame. Anyways- Orton wins.

It has to be right? They talk about these guys as future world champs? Well they needs some wins, they need to wrestle more also.

fuck it, im going to put some faith in the wwe, why? because im mental. If Cena has a say in his matches this could be the result. He loves the business and is a company guy, and i believe personally wuold want to help push a 'new' talent. If Miz gets it, expect to see Big Show er, show up.


Intercontinental Championship: Chris Jericho(c) vs. Rey Mysterio; Title vs. Mask

not sure about his health, but i hope he wins simply because without the mask he will fail like Kane.
If he is going for a decent reign, he needs to drop down and fight 'mid carders' to put the belt where it belongs.


ECW Championship Scramble Match: Tommy Dreamer (c) vs. Christian vs. Jack Swagger vs. Finlay vs. Mark Henry

id like to see Dreamer continue, if not i think they are pushing Finlay and to be honest he has put a hell of a lot into helping younger guys, he deserves a title run.

I hope Jeff can put on the performance this match needs. It needs to be bigger and better than the RAW title match which relys on the 'big guys'. I hope Punk remains tweener-ish. Just cocky, not all out heel.

So..... let me get this right. They are using a famous WCW PPV name (kinda) and no US Title that the WCW created and made?!

So.... let me get this right. They are having a big PPV and using Ziggler and Khali instead of Edge?


eh....the biggest turn off of the night though:

3 stages of hell. I was ok with it. I really was...until I saw that they are going to RUIN the entire thing by making the last fall some pussy, lame, gay stretcher match.
Make it Ladder, make it HiaC, christ, put the two of them on a fucking scaffold until one falls.....stretcher? fuck that.


Although, I'm seriously thinking of getting the web cast for Punk vs Hardy, Jericho vs Rey and kinda for the tag match......I dunno yet. I haven't seen any wrestling in months and, with the wife not home this weekend, I might give in and watch a little on the web cast. I watched the first ever New Years Revolution on webcast with the first ever Elim Chamber. It was good quality.


P.S. They got rid of Cyber Sunday. While the fans love to vote, they hate to watch! rofl

I have no real logic other than I think McCool came out of SD! looking stronger, so that tends to mean the wrestler that looked bad goes over.

Perhaps the belts will receive more emphasis with the champs being aligned with Orton. I'm banking on it.


John Cena vs. The Miz

I would LOVE for Miz to go over, but I see this feud going another month. Cena wins cleanly; Miz disputes it on RAW; we get another month of an entertaining feud with Miz cheating to win to cap it off and send him toward a potentially fun feud with Kofi over the gold. Cena looks to be having fun, and I'm sure the title picture can be filled without him. That's what I'm hoping for. They will not let Cena lay down for a one-match feud.


Intercontinental Championship: Chris Jericho(c) vs. Rey Mysterio; Title vs. Mask

Rey will do more than Jericho would for the belt. The mask makes too much money for Vince to scrap it. Rey wins while Jericho potentially goes on to face Punk. A feud with Punk as the face adds more intrigue into his tweener turn. Maybe Jericho tries to turn him? That would be classic.


ECW Championship Scramble Match: Tommy Dreamer (c) vs. Christian vs. Jack Swagger vs. Finlay vs. Mark Henry
DREAMER
Give Tommy a good run. Christian doesn't need the win (he needs to be traded to SmackDown as I feel he is wasted (this kills me to say) growing stale in ECW), and Swagger will benefit from chasing the belt a bit more.


World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
PUNK
We all know this will be the match of the night. The World Heavyweight Title is slowly becoming the old IC Title. I'm not devaluing it, but saying that it is the workers' title that the fans will love more than the "main" title. Punk has to win and somewhat clean. Afterwards, Jeff can try to shake hands and have Punk grin and walk off or hit the GTS again.


WWE Champion Randy Orton (c) vs. Triple H: Three Stages of Hell

He's better than HHH right now. Honestly, saying Orton is the best on RAW isn't saying much because the flagship show is pretty weak now. He beats a stale HHH and Cena almost by default. The Batista feud hurt his stock in my eyes, and his current feud has been weak. Orton is the man on RAW, but unless MVP rises up to challenge him, his title reign won't be seen as impressive.

I think it's cool, but I don't think main-eventers should have the tag titles. That means they can be on RAW, which cripples the brand split. Oh well, let's roll with it. It gives both of them something to do while Punk and Hardy enjoy the main event.

McCool won. I'm now 3-1-1 in my predictions. I count the tag match as a draw because of a card change.

Hardy wins via DQ. Punk gets an eye injury and hits the referee for the disqualification. Before that, Hardy got a three count with the Swanton only to have the ref reverse the decision after saying Punk's foot was under the rope. After the match, Hardy attacks Punk believing he faked the injury. Good booking. This is a solid feud and doesn't need to end.

I'm 3-2-1 for the night so far.

Cena crushed the Miz in 5 minutes and made him tap. Wow, attaway to kill some heat, E. Thank God, Miz can work the mic and save himself from this. I thought they'd let him have a near fall or two. I hope this feud isn't over. I'm interested in seeing what happens on RAW.

At least Cena finally got that big win that establishes him as a main event presence...oh wait

I'm 4-2-1.

Jericho / Rey was for me, one of the greatest matches i have seen in recent memory, the spots were awesome, off the fucking chart.

This is what Rey needs, matching with people who are not giants, it DOES NOT WORK.

This match was just a joy to watch.

(although, Jericho is 'calling spots' was to obviously, and looking around for the 619. Jericho is better than that!)


I LOVE EDGE/JERICHO as the tag champs, the titles are fucked, we have to accept it. So this way 2 of the very best in the wwe get to rule over 3 brands...i like that.
