Hey dudes
This is Brian. Some of you probably don't know me and some of you know me as Sheldon Reese. I just thought I'd drop by and give you guys an update on things....
My wife is pregnant and due with a boy on August 21. Work has been busy for me lately. Some of you may remember that I stopped e-fedding to focus my creative energy on writing screenplays and I'm happy to say that has been going great. A few months ago, I won my first short script contest. And I've tallied a couple high scoring honorable mentions as well.
My most exciting screenwriting news though is this.... I am working on a Sheldon Reese script that is currently a finalist (Top 10 out of 119 to begin with.) that I am very excited about!
So... What's new with you guys?
Brian

Brian!!!
Great to hear from you!
You should name your son "Matt." Just make sure to keep it far away from Timmy.
Great to see your writing is going well... I'm currently writing a feature film myself. Taking it slowly, but I'm almost done with the first act. I've also written a few one-act plays...
Anyways- glad to see you're doing well!

Glad to hear that things are going so well for you, man!
Wish I had some amazingly good news to share about life being so much better in the 2.5 years since you retired, but I don't have anything. I survived...

"The Superstar" deserves a better reply than that, Luke.

your jealous.
but still.
Brian, very nice to see you on here, and nice that you come the week things are picking up, it was a little slow previously. (like Ripper)
so...
Im married, family should start next year
ive lost over 5 stone now and am pretty fucking buff, i will be knocking on The Egos door soon enough to knock him off his spot.
working hard, earning OK money but still got debts to clear.
health is good which is the main thing.
life is good.
Glad for you mate, id love to read a scripted piece on/based on The Superstar, but im pretty sure Billy Graham already has a book out? lol...zing!
of course there is only one Superstar for us old skool efedders, ofetn copied (by me), never bettered though!
love, peace, health and happiness to you, your wife and your future off-spring.

The entire script isn't finished yet. The contest went like this....
Stage 1 - 119 entrants. Everyone enters their title & a 1 sentence summary (logline). Judges vote. The top 30 scores advance to round 2. I scored in the Top 18.
Stage 2 - 30 Entrants. Everyone enters the first 10 pages of their script. Judges vote. The Top 10 advance to the Finals. I made Top 10.
Stage 3 - 10 Entrants. Everyone enters their full script. Deadline is August 31. I am currently on page 55 and need to get up to around 90. Then I need to rewrite it a couple times to make it work. All that by the end of August and oh yeah... Did I mention my wife is 8 months pregnant & we don't have the nursery put together yet? Ay yi yi. I don't know if I'll get it finished to the level of quality I want to, but I'll give it my best and enter what I get done.
The script is called 'Who the Hell is Sheldon Reese?'
I'd be happy to email those first 10 pages to anyone that wants to check them out. If I could attach a pdf to this post, I'd just post them here for all to see.

Sorry Luke. I don't remember you being such a whiny cunt. Glad to hear you're doing well although I have no idea what dropping 5 stone means. Sounds like a drug reference, but from the way you used it, I'd have to guess you are talking about losing weight... Hmmm... Same ol' confusing British jargon.
Here's the logline....
"Bullets and wisecracks fly as an oversexed egomaniac in a career slump risks becoming the next victim of a celebrity-slaying hitman while attempting to unravel the gruesome death of a rival actor."
AJ, post your email & I'll send the script to you & Luke.

AJ & Luke - The emails should be in your inboxes right now. Also, I completely forgot to mention that my 3rd short film is available online right now. It's called Do Not Disturb and is a 6 minute Twilight Zone sort of film. To check it out, go here... www.dvxfest.com/questfest and then click on Do Not Disturb. I'd love to hear feedback on it from anyone that checks it out. Thanks. Brian

Nice film, Superstar. It was very interesting. I didn't know what to expect, but it wound up being quite decent. Loved the music used. Very appropriate.
