Because I'm laying on the couch all day with my stupid back, I decided to bitch/talk about wrestling right now. I do this every once in a while, and normally, we get everyone to add their own thoughts. Here I go.
Smackdown:
With Jeff Hardy winning the title, it's caused an issue. Edge is hurt. Chris Jericho is tag team champion. So, who is the big heel to step up and challenge Jeff Hardy? Matt Hardy is injured, and out for a while. What the WWE should have done, was put Jack Swagger on Smackdown. Swagger vs. Jeff Hardy could have been decent. Also, I would have liked to see Legacy win the tiles. That would leave Chris Jericho as a great heel to step up and face Jeff. Also, have Dolph win the IC Championship, and we could have seen CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio for the number one contendership. Imagine the feud those two would have for the number one contendership? Could have been awesome.
Then, Dolph Ziggler could have feuded with John Morrison or R-Truth or some of the other younger guys. Those would also be awesome matches.
I should also add that if The Heart Dynasty were to go after Jeff Hardy, I'd be happy. I hope those two go on to be huge.
Raw:
With Orton winning, they should either have MVP step up and challenge him....or, they need HBK to come back and take the title from him. I miss HBK on wrestling. He's one of the best. I wish he were on Smackdown. HBK vs. Punk could be awesome. Anyways, back to the main topic. Orton and Legacy have been awesome. I think a good feud against HBK would be awesome....but, that leaves HHH and Cena. What do you do with these two? There really aren't too many "main eventers" on Raw other than Orton, Cena, and HHH. With Big Show tied up right now, it really screws things up. You could team up HHH and Cena and have them face Big Show and Jericho, but that would only be a temp thing. The mid-card though, has a lot of potential. Kofi has been awesome. I think he's a future world champion in the making. I love younger guys, trying to make a name for themselves....which leads me to one last thing....I wouldn't mind seeing Jake Swagger vs. HHH. I think that might be decent.
ECW:
This brand is so lame right now. C-Man and Shelton Benjamin are really the only two decent guys here. Tommy Dreamer is decent, but I'm guessing he's on his way out. There aren't really any decent guys in the making.
MY THOUGHTS:
Bring the brands together. Jeff Hardy vs. Orton would be good. The new CM Punk attitude vs. HHH could be decent if they pushed it the right way. Add John Cena, HBK, The Undertaker etc, and you've got a decent upper card. The mid card would be incredible, and maybe, just maybe you could keep the US, AND IC Titles....have one tag team title, have one womens title, and there ya go. Maybe keep the IC or US, and have a new title for younger/lighter guys. TNA fucked up with their X Division, so let WWE start something up and use some of their awesome high flyers....that would be awesome.
TNA:
I enjoy TNA. I really do. However, right now, it's getting stale. Main Event Mafia is the same basic storyline, but now Kurt Angle has some hair, although he's going bald and his balding head with his beard makes him look retarded....Joe joining the mafia was retarded....but then again, the new Joe gimmick(thats what it is, a stupid fucking gimmick) is retarded. They're trying to make the MEM the new NWO and it's dumb. The X Division is a joke. Their womens division is better than the WWE's womans division. Hell, their womans division is better than their X Division I think. They really need to get the X Division back to what it was. AJ Styles could stay in the main events. Christopher Daniels should be in the main events....but there are a lot of great younger guys who could make the x-division something special again. Joe needs to go back to being Samoa Joe, and just kick ass. They've got some decent talent, but seriously, they need to stop doing the same shit. I'm tired of Kurt Angle vs. AJ, Kurt Angle vs. Joe or Angle vs. Sting. Angle vs. Daniels could be good. They need someone new to step up and be the face of TNA. Angle is great, but he's becoming the HHH of TNA. I will add this though....their Tag Team Division is the reason I watch TNA. It's so awesome.
