i just do not get into old man HBK and old man HHH being 'funny' anymore. WWE is PG rated and that means DX is going to suck again.
it will suck even more if they let DX 'spirit squad' Legacy at Summer Slam.
HBK needed to return in the same light as he left, as a slightly edgy character who could dip into being a heel. I know he probably will never go full blown heel...but old man trying to be funny just does not do it for me.
AJ loves old men, whatever they are doing.

This DX, in small doses, is okay. However, if DX vs. Legacy lasts longer than a month, if will be as stale as Legacy vs. HHH is now.

Wow, Luke and I disagree....I can't believe it, but it's true....
HHH and HBK have been two of my favorites my entire life. There little skit to get HBK back was great. Is it classic DX? No, but the brand has changed. Has it changed for the worse? I think so, but, I also think DX is great for ratings. They need something to do with HHH....tag him up with HBK, and let them be DX for a while....let them beat up Legacy(come on, you know a DX reunion won't be defeated) then let us see an actual decent tag team feud. DX vs. Jericho and Big Show. I think that tag team match could be awesome. During that feud, I'd LOOOOVE to see something that no one would expect....HBK turns on HHH. That would be so badass, and lead to an awesome NON TITLE feud between those two. Could be awesome!

yep...lets bury Legacy, 2 of the most promising talents in the WWE, lets have the 40 Somethings kick their arses because that'll be good for building new stars.
unless the 'old guard' are going to start putting over the new boys, then they should just stay seperate.
im not even saying that the new boys should always win.
case in point, Edge Vs Morrison...Edge won but Morrison came out looking fucking awesome.
unlike Cena Vs Miz, Miz came out looking like a jobber.
maybe HHH/HBK will do the right thing and let Legacy look like a threat, because even as HHH lay on the mat and say he needed help, he did not really act genuine, he never made it seem like he really meant it, more that he just wanted his old buddy back to fuck around with.
anyways...
DX-Lite does not do it for me.
HHH creating a new stable and elevating talent like he did to Batista and Orton, that i could feel positive about.
oh and Timbo, sorry but Jericho/Show Vs DX might be entertaining, but we know Show is fat, HHH making jokes about it wont be original.
id like to see Jericho/Show working with, and hopefully putting over new teams like Legacy, Cryme Tyme, Hart Dynasty etc etc.
OVER AND OUT

Luke saying "Over And Out" was awesome.
Buuuuuuuuut....
I'm not high on Legacy because they've become boring. Nothing new. I also heard that Ted DiBiase is going to turn face, so I am not thinking of them as a "team to push"....however, I could see Jericho and Big Show vs. DX as an awesome feud. I would like to see Jericho and Big Show keep the titles, and move forward after a feud with DX....but, like I said, I really enjoy HHH and HBK together....if they were to take on the Hart Dynasty, then I'd like to see them let The Harts win. Like I said, I'm just not that into Legacy anymore.

I got to side with Timmy on this. Legacy is not very entertaining as a team. I say let Ted win the US Title and have a good reign (notice how the art of building stars with the midcard belts has died? HHH, HBK, Orton, Hardy, Jericho, Christian, Edge all went nuts over the midcard belts before they went to the main event). That will start allowing Cody to get jealous. Eventually, when Orton drops his belt, Ted can undercut him by claiming to the the only one in Legacy with a belt. I think that would be better than Face Challenger vs. Rhodes, Face Challenger vs. Dibiase, Face Challenger in handicap match against Legacy, and Face Challenger and friend in handicap match against Legacy. It's been the same thing for 4-5 months now.

if Legacy are boring, you need to look at the creative and the booking.
having them look like jobbers to Shane O Mac didnt help, having them feed to HHH wont help either.
you guys actually backing the old boys running all over the new talent...not impressed.

I offered an alternative: actually letting Legacy face other wrestlers. Evolution worked because it wasn't all 4 against whoever HHH was facing. The members had their own feuds and such. Legacy isn't doing that. Rhodes and Dibiase are Orton's thugs. That hardly ever gets anyone over (save for Diesel, but that was more HBK being such a damn good heel). They're facing DX, but that needs to end quickly. Maybe just show that HHH has back-up, so this repetitive shit can end.
I'm happy DX is back mainly because that means my favorite wrestler of all-time, HBK, is back doing what he does best. Would I love to see him as a tweener/heel? Absolutely! Do I think it will happen? No, I don't. To build on my point earlier, imagine if Dibiase won the US Title and had a good feud with HBK in which he kept the belt. That would work if they are intent on having the kids constantly face the main eventers, which doesn't work unless you are a monster. Cena got a little exposure from facing Brock early in his career for the title, but really got polished once he dropped down (remember that Cena was getting better until he won the title from JBL, then he plateaued. He regressed when he came to RAW). Or, dare I dream, Rhodes and Dibiase win the US Title and defend in tandem a la the Connection. That's instant heat, and they fight people in their own league.

I say let Legacy lose to DX. While Triple HBK don't need the win and should help the new guys, I'd love to see them blame each other for the loss and start to resent each other.
Still a team and then, at the right time, Rhodes turns on DiBiase. I think these two could have a real good fued with each other and carry it into a US Title fued.
Not much else to say about this crap really

This is how Luke acts when he doesn't have the title or the book. The exact same as he ever does... just without his delusional sense of superiority.
