I saw WWE is doing a Tables, Ladders and Chairs PPV in December and this raises a few things to me.
1. There are no TLC Veterans really. Just Matt Harcy and Christian....but, the two main eventers that drew fame from those matches are gone. Hardy is gone and Edge is on injury and they don't think he'll be back in time for WM26.
2. Christian is not only fucking awesome but, the best TLC Vet they have active.... AND he's ECW! So, if ECW gets no title match at the PPV (and the probably won't) I'll be furious.
3. Can Undertaker really have a TLC match? No. But, sadly, I cannot see Big show OR the third guy beating him for the title at SurvSeer. And who could he face to look good in a TLC match? Punk...and they are already fucking with him to no prevail.
I do want Miz v. Swagger v. Bourne in a TLC match for the US Title. That'd...be....AWE-SOME! lol

I really hate this gimmic PPVs...
I can forgive multiple Hell in a Cell or Elimination Chamber PPVs, because I realize that the structure is expensive. They can milk it for all it's worth, and I don't blame them. It might take away the spectacle a bit, but I think the ends justify the means.
But shit like Breaking Point, or now TLC... why? It doesn't cost extra money (or significant money) to put on these matches. It's just lazy writing.

Dear Vince, scrap at least 2 PPVs. You need no more than 12...really, going down to 7 or 8 wouldn't be so bad. Scrap No Way Out (they don't need that PPV to build Mania. The Royal Rumble should serve that purpose), scrap Judgment Day, the Bash and Night of Champions (keeping Extreme Rules as the lone gimmick PPV would be fine with me and use June and July to build SummerSlam), scrap Breaking Point and Hell in a Cell (Bragging Rights can stay, if they include ECW in the fray and sell the actual brand split/feuding), and scrap TLC.
Go back to the old school ways of having big feuds settled on TV along with big title matches (and *gasp* title changes). If they don't draw feuds out and don't build the newer wrestlers, they're going to run out of fresh feuds and run the gimmick PPV into the ground (moreso, if you can believe that).

AJ, I agree with you 100% on this. There are WAY too many PPV's....I've always thought that the Royal Rumble should be the PPV before Wrestle Mania. Is there a decent amount of time in between then? Sure there is, but have a special 3 hour show where all three brands appear and have title matches, or something. There's no need to have ANOTHER PPV. Fuck, sometimes, we're getting PPV's every three weeks....thats fucking lame. I also agree that it'd be awesome to see the world heavyweight or WWE championship change hands on a weekly show. Thats one thing that I really miss. You never get that anymore. Why not pump up a huge title match, and then, let the title change hands....it'd be awesome for ratings....because the next time you advertise for a title match, people are going to watch, thinking there is a chance for a title change.

you missed the whole point. The TLC PPV will be crap cause of the champions and lack of TLC warriors.
BTW, No Way Out is gone AJ....It's now the Elimination Chamber PPV. I don't think they should have such a huge gimmick PPV right before Mania but....ok Vince, I'll bite......

I'm about to post Smackdown spoilers, so be prepared....
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED ON SMACKDOWN, DON'T READ ANY FURTHER....
Chris Jericho defeated Kane and is now in the World Heavyweight Championship Match. It'll be The Undertaker(c) vs. Big Show vs. Chris Jericho. Then you've got John Cena(c) vs. HBK vs. HHH.........
So think about this for a second....if they keep these feuds going....
Jericho has been in ladder matches and been awesome! Anyone remember him giving Benoit the walls of Jericho while being at the top of the ladder? That was badass. I loved watching those two battle for the IC Title....
And, HBK is the MAN at ladder matches....
Sooooooo....if these two are still in the main event....the TLC matches could be decent. I can see John Cena putting his body on the line and taking some hard bumps....and you know HBK will do whatever it takes. I have a hard time seeing HHH having a really good TLC match though.
In the same sense, I can see Undertaker putting his body out there a couple times....you know Jericho will....and The Big Show....sure, he's big....sure he can't fly....but you know damn well he'll let himself flop through a table....
Soooo, while it's not watching Christian vs. Edge vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy vs. Kurt Angle vs. Chris Jericho (all great in these matches).....depending on who is in the main event, it could be awesome still.
My hopes.....
HBK wins, so then he's definitely in the TLC match.
Jericho wins.....then Edge comes back, and we get to see Jericho vs. Edge in a TLC match. That could be badass. I don't think Edge is ready for a return, sooooo, maybe have Hardy come back and then he could face Jericho. Who knows.....
Either way, I don't think this PPV is 100% going to blow....there's still a chance for it to be decent.
