Survivor Series Thread (plus random WWE Thoughts)

Team Mickie (Mickie James, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Melina, Gail Kim) vs. Team Michelle (Michelle McCool, Jillian Hall, Beth Phoenix, Layla, Alicia Fox)
Okay. Everybody should know my distaste for the Divas at this point. Gail Kim is probably the only Diva I like; Melina and Beth are decent at best, and Fox at least shows promise. So... add all these women in a single match, I'm sure it's going to be a trainwreck. Sigh. I'll finish this rant later on... Anyways... I guess I'll go with Team Mickie, with Mickie and Gail surviving. Hopefully Gail gets a title soon!



Team Morrison (John Morrison’s, Matt Hardy, Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin & Finlay) vs. Team Miz (The Miz, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger)
The solid mid-card Survivor Series match... they've been showing animosity between Swagger and Miz, but I don't think that will totally play out to the outcome of this match. McIntyre, Finlay, Ziggler, and Bourne probably won't survive to see the end. I think it will eventually come down to Morrison and Hardy vs. Miz, Swagger, and Sheamus... Actually, I'm going to say Miz, Swagger, and Sheamus as the sole survivors.


Rey Mysterio vs. Batista
Batista. I think I'd like this feud better if it was more original.


Team Kingston (Kofi Kingston, MVP, Mark Henry, ECW Champion Christian & R-Truth) vs. Team Orton (Randy Orton, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase & William Regal)
This will end up Kingston and R-Truth vs. Orton and Punk. The two biggest pushes in the company vs. the two top heels in the company (save for Jericho). I absolutely love that Kingston and Truth are getting pushes, at the same time, no less. When Kingston first debuted, I don't know if I ever thought of him as anything above midcard... but he could easily be the next Jeff Hardy in terms of popularity (even better, he seems more motivated and more clean than Hardy). R-Truth was someone I always saw being in the main event, even back when he was K-Kwik (I'll admit, I really hate his WWE names)... but he seemed doomed to midcard status. That being said, however, I think Orton will be the sole survivor. Neither of these feuds are over, though. (Also... Marine 2 comes out late December... I think it's time DiBiase turns face. Something will happen between him and Orton at this match that will lead to him leaving Legacy down the road. I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet... although they've teased at it a bit, with Orton vs. DiBiase when Ted was basically just taking a beating).


WWE Champion John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels
Take Cena out of this match and I'd be more interested... meh. Anyways... Cena will retain. My guess is that this will lead to a DX split, with Triple H vs. HBK at Wrestlemania. The only issue is, there has been no problems between HBK and Triple H. They've stayed a team, even knowing they're fighting for gold. I think Cena will retain... we'll see where this goes. I don't think Vince wants to turn either HBK or Triple H heel...


World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker vs. Big Show vs. Chris Jericho
Taker will retain. I'd be more interested in Taker vs. Jericho... This also looks like it could plant the seeds for a JeriShow split and feud- much more likely than DX. My preference would be that Jericho turns face, but it won't happen... luckily, both have proven to be excellent in either role, so a face Big Show will likely come around.


Random WWE Thought:

-Verne Troyer, aka Mini-Me, is hosting RAW Monday. Let's play a drinking game- any Austin Powers references, drink. Any midget jokes, drink. Any time Mini-Me is with Hornswoggle, take a shot. If Mini-Me is in a match and scores the pinfall, finish your beer. I would imagine I'll get shitfaced within the first thirty minutes.

-Would Vince please start taking note of TNA's Knockout division? That's how women's wrestling should be done!

-As I mentioned, I love Kingston and R-Truth's push... but I gotta feel bad for MVP. He's been around the longest, and is probably most deserving in that sense. They were teasing a feud between MVP and Orton at one point, but it never really took place. I know a lot of people have said that it's time for "new stars"... MVP works too hard not to be a part of that. Mark Henry's holding him back.

Agreed, except there is no denying Beth, she is not decent at best, she can be very very good and has also turned into a much hotter women recently. Oh, and why is Natalia not in the fucking match?!
I would like to see Beth fuck them all over...actually id like to see them all just try and fuck.

This is great, some excellent talent alongside good talent, Finlay/Hardy/Benjamin have been around a long time, but for the rest (even Morrison) this is a great chance to shine in what is essentially a match with no huge main eventers to over shadow them.
I think McIntyer and Shamus will walk out winners.


Rey Mysterio vs. Batista
Batista. I think I'd like this feud better if it was more original.
I suddenly started loving this feud, and its mainly down to Batista...the guys hel characteristics have been really good, some subtle ones and some out and out obvious ones. I just loved it after the world title match when he just looked at Rey and calmly said "im gonna ripe your head off"...and then almost did it. He remains calm when talking instead of shouting his head off and that makes him look proper mental...taking points from Orton i think.
If the feud is to run, then i think Rey needs the win. Batista would want revenger. Rey losing and wanting revenge is not very 'face' like.

Another great match with a great spot for the younger talent. Im not a big Truth fan, i hate his mic work, his ring work is ok, but im not that interested. Im sad to see Punk dumped feuding with a WWE jobber.
An Orton win wold be fine, he is a top top heel and will be at the top for many years, however the WWE could go with something very special and give Kingston an amazing spot as the sole survivor.

Taker will retain. I'd be more interested in Taker vs. Jericho... This also looks like it could plant the seeds for a JeriShow split and feud- much more likely than DX. I believe Taker will win and thats why im not overly interested. I respect the guy a hell of a lot, but right now im bored of the act and im not that impressed with him. Jericho SHOULD NOT TURN FACE. His current heel run has in my eyes been his most successful period in the WWE. He has created a unique character and it is not time to scrap it. Jeri-Show shold stay together and should be more united until an eventual split.

- I HATE....absolutely HATE the womens division in the WWE....TNA Knockouts are so much fun to watch. They know how to wrestle....they've got their own gimmicks.........with that said....I could give two shits about this match. I'll go with the heels....only because Beth Phoenix deserves to dominate.

- This will sound terrible....but I'm being honest....midgets make me laugh A LOT. I'm not a prick....I'm not going to walk up to a midget and laugh at them....but watching the Austin Powers movies....when I see Mini-Me....I giggle. So, as I stated before....I'm guaranteed to laugh A LOT!

I already talked about this....not getting into it again. The WWE sucks compared to TNA for two reasons....The womens division and the tag team division!

-Truth is ok, but not one of my favorites....I definitely think MVP deserves a push....I also think Benjamin deserves a push on ECW.


Other thoughts. PLEASE RETIRE UNDERTAKER....or, GO TO RAW, where I could give two shits about you. Let Smackdown be the show of good, younger talent. I would love to see Edge, Jericho, Christian Cage, CM Punk, Rey, Kofi, MVP etc all on one show. It'd be awesome. I'm tired of The Undertaker holding down these guys. Let Taker go to Raw where he can feud with Cena and HHH and HBK....I'd be ok with those feuds. I'm not too excited about seeing Taker squash the younger talent on Smackdown!

My thoughts:

Team Miz defeating Team Morrison: Survivors: The Miz, McIntyre and Shaemus: I'm alright with this....kinda odd that the heels were made to look SUPER dominant. I would have thought there would have only been two survivors instead of three, but whatever. Team Morrison wasn't all that good anyways. The Miz is in the middle of a nice push, which I like. It makes the US Title look good. There have been a few good US Champs lately. I'm glad to see it still doing well. Shaemus, lets be honest, it being pushed and pushed and pushed. He's either going to the top, and will be huge....or, they'll push him for a few months, and then he'll become the next Mike Knox. I wouldn't mind seeing him get a good push. McIntyre....well, it's been stated that Vince and HHH love this guy. Hell, Vince even said he's a future world champion....soooo, if that's the case, I expect him to go places. I'm not shocked that he won. Does anyone know if McIntyre is somehow related to the McMahons? LOL....I don't know what he's got on Vince and HHH, but he's in the right place at the right time, and looking to be the next big superstar.

Batista def. Rey: I'm ok with this, just because they had Rey come close to getting a pin, then Batista beat him senseless, the match was called because Rey couldn't go on any further, and then Batista beat his ass more. I wouldn't mind seeing Rey come back, and now want revenge....only because Batista destroyed him....honestly, I like this badass heel Batista more than I've ever liked him. He's a monster right now. Seems to be unstoppable. I like it. I just wish there was another decent face on Raw that he could destroy....and no, I'm not talking about Matt Hardy....I could give two fucks about Hardy anymore.

Team Kofi defeats Team Orton: Survivor: Kofi....man, not sure about this one at all....sure, Kofi deserves a good push....and I can see Orton wanting to kill Kofi now....but making him defeat Punk AND Orton seems a bit much....I would have atleast had it come down to Kofi and Christian Cage vs. Orton and Punk. Cage takes out Punk....Orton runs in and hits an RKO and pins Cage....Kofi comes in and defeats Orton.....would have looked better for everyone....having Kofi destroy everyone just seems crazy to me. We'll see where they go with it. I should add though....Christian Cage vs. Randy Orton would fucking rule! I'd love to see that!

Undertaker wins by locking in Hells Gate on Big Show: LAME! Please understand this, I respect the hell out of The Undertaker. The guy was able to take a stupid fucking gimmick and make it awesome....FOR MANY MANY YEARS! He's done a lot for the WWE, and has been super loyal to them. I think thats awesome....but I'm just so sick of him. He's never in a feud unless it's for the title it seems. He's gone forever, suddenly comes back and is made the number one contender....of course he wins.....then crushes the younger talent. It's stupid to me. I can't wait for him to either move to Raw so we can see something somewhat new with him, or him retire....I'd rather see the title on anyone right now other than him.

Melina and Mickie James were the survivors: Eh, whatever. The last 3 or 4 matches I've seen Melina in, she's botched her finishing move....BADLY....Mickie James, in my eyes, is pretty fucking hot. I think she's pretty good in the ring as well....I guess I'm alright with this....but still, I would have liked to have seen McCool and Beth Phoenix be the survivors, and then Beth Phoenix turns on McCool and kicks the shit out of her.

John Cena defeats DX: HBK hitting the sweet chin music on HHH does nothing unlesss they're going to break these two up....my question is this: what now? Who will Cena face? There isn't anyone. Atleast if they had made HBK turn heel and win, Cena would have wanted his rematch, and HHH would have wanted revenge because his best friend screwed him over....then, we could of had a solid triple threat with these guys....instead, Cena wins, and now, there's no one else for him to feud with. Awesome job WWE....fucking meatheads!

With Rey 'out of action', and Punk being buried....I want Batista vs Undertaker. I want Batista to destroy Undertaker..... but sadly, if it goes that way, that would mean Undertaker wins the Rumble? I think. How else does he get on RAW to face Cena? I don't know....They can always just shift him and call it a 'brand trade' and Smackdown gets Legacy or something like that. But.....

Here's what I'd do: Cena vs Big Show and Taker vs Jericho. Split Jeri-Show and let DX get the titles and travel on both shows. Then, at the Rumble, Cena vs Show and Batista vs Undertaker. Batista and Cena win, then whoever wins the Rumble, goes to Smackdown to face batista and for that 'trade' RAW gets Undertaker.

Cena has NEVER beaten The Undertaker...plus Taker hit the Tombstone on him at MSG on RAW....Cena could go for some revenge and get some heel heat.
