Sheamus is already getting a title shot? Really?
I realize that Vince and Triple H have a hard-on for the guy... but can he at least have a few more midcard feuds first? Hell, the only "long-lasting" feuds were with Jamie Noble and Goldust. Seriously. Put him up against Mark Henry or MVP. Give him a solid midcard run for at least a few months. Given the amount of people he's faced thus far, I don't view him as a threat yet.
Don't get me wrong, I can tell he's got a TON of potential, and I have no doubt that he'll be a deserving champion some day... but, fuck, make him pay his dues first.
DX vs. Jerishow... should be good. HBK vs. Jericho was a classic. Hopefully Show can keep healthy (rumor has it he's getting knee surgery).
I didn't see the show, but I read the results... I couldn't help but smile at the thought of Vince and The Body doing commentary. And then, of course, I thought, "WWE stole from us again!"
Kofi got the upperhand against Orton again... I'm guessing they're going to go for a one-on-one match at the next PPV. I'd guess Orton will win that one, since Kofi has been dominating the feud thus far, and they don't want to make one of their top heels look too weak. I think a Sheamus vs. Kofi feud will be in the works, once both are done with Cena and Orton, respectively. Now that both are Raw's rising stars, it'll make sense.
Speaking of Kofi... I get the feeling he's going to be the next Money in the Bank winner. I would love to see him as heavyweight champ... but only if they book him as a proper underdog champion. Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, and CM Punk were all booked horribly as the underdog champ. Hardy and Punk both had title reigns that lasted far too short, and Rey lost more non-title matches than he won title matches. It's great to see the title on guys that aren't the "traditional" heavyweight champions- smaller, less bulky, quicker... but again, make them look strong.
Considering my St. Louis roots, I was thrilled to see Orton vs. Bourne... though not so thrilled that it was practically a squash match. I'd love to see a proper feud from these two... Bourne is just fun as hell to watch. I doubt he'd be a believable heavyweight champ, but I could see him pull a US/IC Title run someday. Bourne's a great example of why I am generally more interested in midcard wrestlers than the main eventers. It feels like they work harder, and put on better matches.
That's all I've got...
