I'm sorry, this is unacceptable. 25% failure... and NO punishment? Really?
Now from what I understand, WWE's policy hasn't been fool-proof... but at least they're punishing those who get caught.
Ever since Benoit's death (and arguably Guererro's), the steroid issue has put pro-wrestling into a crises.
WWE is smart in having individual drug tests at random; at least they wouldn't risk losing a quarter of their roster in one go (although it might not be a bad thing; imagine what would happen if a bunch of midcard-to-higher ups got busted... think who would get pushed!). TNA really couldn't suspend a quarter of their roster, seeing as they don't really have a development territory.
But seriously- NO penalty? Not even a fine?
Common, Dixie Carter. If you want TNA to be seen as a legitimate company, then they must play by the rules. I wouldn't say they're "encouraging" their wrestlers to do drugs, but having no penalty for it certainly sends the wrong message to the public and to the roster.

You know, I read that yesterday and just had to roll my eyes. It's pathetic.
Vince is holding his guys accountable but, also is being SUPER smart about it. He does random drug tests on whoever he wants, whenever he wants. That's smart. Like Matt said, this way if 9 guys are using them, he's only suspending one or two at a time.
While they aren't supporting the drug use in TNA, the lack of punishment is rediculous. I mean, if my wife was doing drugs and I did nothing about it, it'd be like me hading her a needle. TNA can't afford to lose half it's roster but, if you think about it....a 30 day suspension would only mean they'd miss two weeks of tapings. She could be smart and cunning.....All the BIG guys get suspended and they make a special month:
TNA presents X-Division December. I dunno...but, something should have been dealt out to those idiots that were using them

My guess is that the quarter isn't all steroids... it's probably a lot of weed in there too (hopefully nothing harder, but you never know...)
Which is to say, it could very well mean X-Division level stars as well...

I could totally make a shitty Jeff Hardy comment right now, but I won't.
Here's the thing, if TNA doesn't have a drug policy, then there's nothing they can do about it. If TNA does have a drug policy, then yes, they should be suspended and/or fined.
I don't get it. These guys make good money, to do something they love to do....yet, they fuck up by getting involved with drugs. It's the same with sports athletes who fuck up their careers by doing stupid shit. I don't get it. They think they're unstoppable. It's stupid, but it's also sad.
