I live in a strange place. It's not Mayberry but it's not a real city/town. Yesterday was pretty odd.
My internet didn't work so, I tried to call Verizon. But, my house phone (had a dial tone) but would BEEP a busy tone when I called someone. Ok, fine... I'll use my cell. Well, My Cell phone had no bars/signal. I was able to use it long enough to get someone on the phone before it disconnected. But, why did it disconnect? BECAUSE I GOT A SIGNAL!!!!
I look and I have three bars so, I try to call it says: "Emergency Calls Only' I try to text someone and it says: "Service Unavailable"
So, I go to the bank and their systems are down, they closed. So did their branch in all three surrounding towns...
WTF?!
Fine, Wal-Mart...here I come to shop for the Rink snack bar.
I go to Wal-mart and they tell me they can only take Cash and Credit. No debit or gift cards. That's fine, I planned to use cash but, it was odd that more Comp systems didn't work.
But..... here's what it all comes down to. Here is where I fucking live. This was all weird but, these fucking morons take the fucking cake. I had the lady money and I see a flyer on the checkout that read:
"EXTENDED HOLIDAY HOURS:
We will be closing at 8pm on Dec. 24th and reopen at 8am on Dec 25th"
And, what made my jaw drop was the fact that this Wal-mart is a....
24 HOUR SUPERCENTER!!!!!
HOW THE FUCK DO YOU CLAIM YOU HAVE EXTENDED HOURS WHEN YOU ARE ACTUALLY CLOSING AND BEING OPEN LESS THAN USUAL!?!?!
Jesus Fucking H Christ!!! Where the fuck am I living?! Who the fuck had the idea to call those Extended hours? How the fuck did that get past ANYONE? What the fuck is going on in their office? Where did this fucking company come from to let that slide? When the fuck did being open less = Extended hours? Why the fuck do I care anymore?!
AAAHHHHH! Makes me want to stick my fucking head under the tire of a mac truck!!!!
