i grew up in tulsa oklahoma. i moved to virginia to stay with my aunt and uncle and to be close to my grandparents and to go to college. i headed back to oklahoma for the holiday. remind you, i am living in virginia. nice weather. i get to tulsa and tonight, over the past three hours we have got over 6 inches of snow and we might get another ten inches. if thats not bad enough, before the snow came, we had an inch, a fucking inch of ice. we have 45 mile an hour winds. white outs everywhere. we also have tornado watches. my younger brother got home 20 minutes ago and said hes never seen so many cars off the road. the roads are terrible. gotta love tulsa. hopefully we wont lose power. that would suck for christmas.

Dude, thats insane....when I think about Oklahoma, I think about the tornados, but I don't think about snow storms....lol....stay safe man!

One of my friends is trying to get from Missouri to France (where her parents live)... some of her Phacebook statuses:
"flight cancelled, new flight booked, might miss connecting flight...and haven't even left the states yet. 20 hours till i get to sleep!!!!!"

"worst trip EVER. flight cancelled left and right. got into london, cancelled flight to france. stood in line for 6 hours...got vouchers for hotel and food. got to hotel..overbooked. got to new hotel finally slept...woke up....started all over again. what a nightmare. it's 2:15 am and i just got into lyon after 4 hour drive."

There was some rain over night cause of the storm that James is getting. But, overall it's 70 degrees and supposed to be sunny all weekend too!
Nice weather in VA? Didn't you all get slammed last week.
Is Conner from there? I know he posted something about a snowstorm and skating all night....

I don't know about Virginia, but a lot of the East Coast got hammered with a storm last week. Luckily, it never made it to me in Upstate New York....but Long Island (where my fiancee is from) got hammered with like 16 inches of snow....lol

My mom just flew in from Philly to KC... but has been stuck on the tarmack for 2 hours with no signs of getting off.
Screw winter.
EDIT: She was on the runway for 2.5 hours. But she's home now. Huzzah!

I just got back power. Fuck this weather bullshit. I live at the tip of virginia and we got hit fucking hard. Power went out friday and didnt get it back till today. No water still they say some places wont have power or water for another god damn two weeks!
