Wow, there seems to be a lot of wrestling news going on....
First things first, Monday, Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter are holding a huge press conference, and it is believed that they will announce that TNA is officially going to Monday Nights.
Thoughts: Bad move. Take some time to establish yourself first. Have some specials like once every other month or something....jumping right into every other month seems like a bad idea....especially with Bret Hart being on Raw right now, and with the WWE headed to the WM PPV....there are going to be A LOT of people watching Raw right now just because of WM. If it were me, I would wait until after WM, and then, hammer away with the plan....but, then again, thats why I run a fake internet wrestling game and these people run actual wrestling promotions
The WWE has ended their Survivor Series PPV for good. The numbers for the SS PPV have dropped 26%....they said it was a great idea back in the day but has lost it's appeal.
Thoughts: I agree. Smart move. That PPV has been lame for a long time. Something needed to be done. Personally, I would have kept it as the Survivor Series, but made the winning team face off against one another with the winner getting a title shot. That would have made it more interesting and helped push a new superstar.
Ric Flair has made it known that sooner than later he will be involved in a wrestling match in TNA.
Thoughts: NOOOOO! Flair has done AMAZING things with AJ "Stylin' and Profilin' Styles....absolutely amazing work from both of them. Flair has nothing left to prove. I think he's proving just how awesome he is by being an incredible manager/mentor to AJ. Stay out of the ring....
It was stated that Ric Flair would be getting in the ring.....TO WRESTLE HULK HOGAN!
Thoughts: DON'T DO IT. Hogan can barely walk to the ring without looking like he's fragile and about to break....These two need to accept the roles they have and let everyone else wrestle.
Thats about it.
