Gail. At least, she better. A rare Divas match that could actually be good, if Maryse is having a good day...


Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Kane
They're trying to establish McIntyre. He needs this win more than Kane. It sucks... Kane has hardly been used lately. I'm all about pushing the younger guys, but shit... Kane's paid his dues. I think the IC Title is below where he should be. But even I admit, Kane's past his prime. I still love him, but he should have held heavyweight gold (non-ECW) years ago, and for the longer than just a day. Anyway... McIntyre will pick up the victory.


WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match: Sheamus vs. Cena vs. Orton vs. Kofi vs. HHH vs. DiBiase
You can eliminate DiBiase and Orton- they've been working with this Legacy split for ages, and you know that it will go down at Wrestlemania- I'm guessing DiBiase will eliminate Orton, Orton will get pissed and punt DiBiase so somebody else eliminates him. Cena's got Batista coming up at Wrestlemania, so no luck there... and let's face it, they won't let Kofi win. So it's either Sheamus or Triple H... there's two ways for this to go down:

• Sheamus wins, and we see Sheamus vs. Triple H at Wrestlemania
  
• Triple H wins, Sheamus and Kofi start a feud while Triple H and Shawn Michaels fight over the title
  

I think this whole Taker vs. HBK thing could very well be a red herring. But more on that later...


World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match: Undertaker vs. Morrison vs. CM Punk vs. Jericho vs. Mysterio vs. R-Truth
Once again, it comes down to two: Undertaker or Jericho. I think Jericho, simply because it makes the most sense for Edge to fight Jericho at Wrestlemania. A good chance HBK will screw him over (although it might risk overlapping the Bret Hart storyline- with them finally making peace, it seems kind of bizarre).





Now then... logic (and Internets rumors) tell us that it's going to end up Jericho vs. Edge, Triple H vs. Sheamus, and Undertaker vs. HBK all at Wrestlemania. And this is actually okay with me. But I would not be surprised if WWE decided to mix it up a bit... Triple H vs. HBK for the WWE Title, Edge vs. Jericho vs. Taker for the World Title. The reason I'm going with this idea is that Sheamus should NOT be headlining Wrestlemania, and I think (or at least, hope) Vince realizes it. So I think Sheamus and Kofi are going to start a feud after this match, perhaps a #1 contender thing or something.

Now, the thought of HBK vs. Undertaker II DOES excite me. And here's why- the first one, while an outstanding match, was predictable. At least, storyline-wise. HBK was constantly getting the upperhand against Taker, and they were constantly making note that Taker had never beaten HBK one-on-one. Not to mention that Taker's streak has become his legacy, I saw Taker winning a hundred miles away. Again, watching the match gave me moments where I thought they were going to throw everybody for a loop, but ultimately it did turn out to be predictable. But this rematch... this rematch is seriously exciting, because that level of predictability is GONE. Yes, Taker's streak is his legacy, but if he ends up retiring soon (he's always rumored to be retiring soon)- then I could definitely see him losing to HBK. Much like Flair's career "ended" (ugh) to HBK, Taker would be able to have the match of his life and walk away with a loss. But still- it's the Taker's legacy. SHOULD he EVER lose at Wrestlemania? And I can't make up my mind between the two... which is why I am VERY excited to see how it plays out.

But again, I'm just not sure that this is the route that they really will be going. I hope so. But it's no guarantee.




One last note- only four matches? Sure, two are EC matches that should be epic... but the other two still feel like nothing more than filler matches. Couldn't we have gotten a few more feuds going? A Show-Miz title defense, at the very least?

Orton, DiBiase, Kofi were all out. Down to HHH, Shaemus, and Cena....Shaemus about to take out Cena....HHH hits a low blow....HHH hits pedegree, Shaemus is out. Down to Cena and HHH....Cena makes HHH tap out....

NEW WWE CHAMPION....JOHN CENA ! ! ! !


But wait....

Vince McMahon comes out and says that John Cena has another title match....RIGHT NOW....against BATISTA ! ! ! !

Batista comes down and gets in the ring. Cena hits Batista....Batista flips, spears Cena (awesome spear by the way) then hits the Batista Bomb and wins....

NEW WWE CHAMPION....BATISTA ! ! ! !


Thoughts: I did not see this coming at all. Bravo WWE for shock value. Good stuff. No idea where they'll go with it now, but hey, atleast they did something that no one saw coming.

Drew McIntyre vs. Kane on now....I'll update after the match.

Kane goes for a chokeslam....Drew pokes him in the eye, hits the shock DDT and wins. All in all, it was a pretty good match.

Gail Kim vs. Maryse is on now....I'm going to work on homework while this is one....lol....I'll update after the second Chamber match.

Before the match, Vickie comes out and announces that shes tired of the Raw Divas acting like the Smackdown Divas are nothing....so, being that she is a Diva herself and has the right to make matches, shes turning the match into a tag team. Gail and Maryse vs. Team LayCool(yes, they called them that)....the match was pointless....LayCool wins.

After the match, Maryse attacks Gail Kim again. Yawn.

William Regal comes out and talks about WWE:NXT....Edge comes out....says at Raw tomorrow, he will announce who he is facing at WM....then he spears Regal.

Interview in the back with The Miz. They talk about WWE:NXT. He says that Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) might be an internet superstar and an Indy legend, but he's not in the indy feds anymore and he had better listen to The Miz.

JERICHO IS NEW WORLD CHAMPION!... With HBK hitting the sweet-chin music on Taker at the end. Hell of a good match! At one point it was Jericho, Rey, and Morrison- these three have killer chemistry. I'd have loved to have seen R-Truth and Punk in it a bit more, but... ah well.

SO let's see...technically I'm 2/3, since the Divas Title match got ditched. Wish they would have built the US Title match beforehand.

Wrestlemania's shaping up to be pretty damn good.

R-Truth and Punk start out. Punk beat Truth before anyone else gets in the match. Rey comes in next. Then Jericho. Somewheres, Punk gets taken out, but I'm not 100% sure how....(stream was breaking up a lot at this point)....Morrison in next. Rey, Jericho and Morrison was awesome. Morrison beats Rey....Undertaker comes in....I thought they were going to have Morrison beat the Undertaker....it was close....Morrison goes out....Jericho and Undertaker left....they go back and forth....pretty good match....somehow (again, not 100% sure how because of the stream)....but somehow HBK gets in the Chamber and hits SWEET CHIN MUSIC on Undertaker....he stands there with an evil look on his face and watches as Chris Jericho pins the Undertaker and wins the title.

the whole ppv was shit, Why the fuck did the ending of the 1st chamber match happen, couldnt the title stay out of the storyline, i expected HHH to face sheamus, the divas match was shit, kane and mcintyre's match was boring , and miz vs mvp and the ending of the SD! chamber match were the only things that saved this ppv,


on another note, did any of you guys cringe when you saw reys head collide into the pod, i thought he broke his neck,

Congrats to Jericho. Long overdue. Jericho vs. Edge should be sweet!

Cena w/Bret vs. Batista w/Vince didn't need the title. The Chamber win and his win at
WrestleMania (we all know Cena's winning) gives him another two reigns and keeps him at the top. That title is such a crutch for him. Could he really make it in a non-title feud?

i did not think i would say this but i would have rather HHH win the belt, and i say that because if they want to build Shamus as a real top guy then he could have gone onto WM and defeated HHH for the WWE title, thus giving him a proper push over a proper main eventer at a proper event.

oh well, Jericho won the World title and unless WWE screws it up it means Jericho Vs Edge at WM which is a is great for them and great for the fans.

regards HHH/Shamus...will they really go at it am mania? will HHH really step down the card and have a non-title feud with basically a rookie? If he does and if he takes the loss i will be really impressed. Maybe, just maybe HHH wants to build this guy and prove he can do so without the title being involved?


ShoMiz...well i think The Miz should be all over WM, he should defend the tag titles and the US title.
With Bret around they could easily turn the Hart Dynasty 'face' within like 2 weeks and have them get a match against ShowMiz at WM.

And if they let MVP/Miz work together some more and actually advertise their match then it could be great for the US title.

Wow, I keep reading that during The Undertakers entrance, his pyro's shot up and caught him on fire. He ripped his jacket and hat off and ran to the ring. I remember the announcers saying something about him running to the ring because he was determined to get in the chamber and defend his title....I didn't realize he was ON FIRE....once inside the pod, the referee handed him many bottles of water so he could pour them over his body. They say he has some burns on his arms and chest....After the PPV was over, he walked up the ramp to where the one pyro machine is and yelled something about it to the paramedics....then went backstage....word is that he was PISSED about the situation and let everyone know. Everyone tried to calm him down....

DAMN! Thats insane. Can't believe he still wrestled after all that.
