I'm pissed about Helms... from what I can tell the entire story of him and Jericho getting arrested was blown out of proportion. Kind of weird- Helms gets fired, but Jericho gets no punishment- he even wins the World Title and gets to headline Wrestlemania. But, I guess Helms has had a bit more issues in the past, so... aw, well.
Burchill, on the other hand, I've surprised it just took this long. He's not a bad wrestler, but he's not particularly great either. He kind of got screwed- he had started an incest storyline with his "sister" RIGHT BEFORE they went to PG. Now, the storyline was a horrible idea anyway, but he just hasn't really been used since. He's been hanging on for a while now- it's about time the cut was made.

Helms? there really is no comparison with Jericho.
Burchill, is actually very good, had he been able to get himself some solid air time and decent feud i think he could have made a great upper mid card talent

Ripper got released! LOL. Could Burchill have been good? I think so, but luck plays a large part in who makes it and who doesn't.
Been a fan of Helms since the 3 Count days. Sucks to hear, but he'll land on his feet. Matt Hardy's really the only one of the North Carolina boys to really be able to retain employment over the years.

Maria got released too. Meh.
I'm surprised... they usually do the "Spring Cleaning" after Wrestlemania. I wonder if we'll see any more leave soon...

She's got a following online that led to her winning Diva of the Year last year. Odd they wouldn't try to capitalize on that.
All these releases make me think they're serious on building the NXT guys ( though I haven't watched the show).

Vince McMahon is like MJW and Jarrett is like AJ in the way TNA always gets the leftovers.

Perhaps I should record NXT, but I need to watch SmackDown. That's #1 on my list of wrestling shows to watch.

They will both be in TNA. Helms being there gives Shannon Moore and Jeff Hardy another reason to want to be there. I'm calling it now....Helms cuts a shoot promo about being screwed because of the "Hurricane" gimmick. He'll tell everyone that he's going to be himself and prove what he's worth.
Burchill, I'll call this now....will end up with The British Invasion. He could be their new "bodyguard"....then again, what in the hell do I know? LOL

Charlies Haas is gone, too. Shame. I remember seeing him and his brother Russ wrestle a dark show YEARS ago as a tag team, before Russ died. I can't say that I'm surprised, though... Haas hasn't really been used properly since the first incarnation of the World's Greatest Tag Team.

I could see him going to TNA as well....at this point, anyone WWE releases has a good chance of getting a contract with TNA....if TNA can turn a WWE "reject" into a star, they'll do it. They're doing it right now with Pope....and he's getting a big following....if they can do it with anyone else, I guarantee you they will.

That's cause 'Smarks' and internet fans that want raw talent like Haas.... will watch him on TNA where he can shine. TNA knows this. We get a taste for him and then go: "Damn! Vince got rid of him? Let's watch and cheer him on TNA cause he's actually pretty good!"
