TAG TEAM
"The Evil-est"
Slam II
&
Othello Craven
Vs
"The Word"
Lucias Bird
&
Benito
Anarchy started off in a huge way with this tag team match up. Othelle Craven and Benito both showed some great promise inside the squared circle but it was Slam II and Lucias Bird who were out to prove themselves on route to Hardcore Hell.
Well with the referee down, Slam II did just that, as Craven took the fight to Benito, Slam II and Bird took the fight to the outside of the ring. It was there that the damage was done as Slam swung Bird straight into the solid steel steps. But he was not done, pulling the steps apart Slam II proceeded to lift them up above a prone Lucias Bird and drop them directly onto his chest.
Bird was clearly in pain which only seemed to enhance Slam’s enjoyment as he rolled him into the ring. With Benito down and the referee shaking off the effects of the earlier tumble he was able to make the count and pick up win.
Now, the Lucias Bird is not in favour with the AWA fans, but even they were in shock as Slam II proved he was not done and proceeded to grab a steel chair from ringside and bury it deep into the already injured chest of Lucias Bird.
Slam II and Craven left the ring in an eerie silence.
Result – Slam II & Othello Craven – Slam II pins Lucias Bird

"The Role Model"
Anthony Jordan (c)
Vs
"The Virus"
Ripper
Anarchy was treated to a PPV calibre match as these two stable mates and long time allies went at it one on one.
Whilst the title was not on the line, Ripper knew a win would put him were he wanted to be, in direct contention for the World Championship, whilst the champion Anthony Jordan needed a win to avenge his loss from the previous week and to build momentum going into Hardcore Hell.
The match went 15 minutes before the first pinfal attempt was made and it was Ripper who managed to kick out and fight on. From there the pinfals came thick and fast and the fans loved every one of them.
As the battle came to a climax, Jordan managed to foil a Virus Bomb and summon the strength to lift Ripper into the Perfect Example.
Having hit the move Jordan went for the cover but the referee was on his feet and the ring bell was rung.
Tired and exhausted Jordan demanded to know what was happening, we were all soon informed that the match had reached its 30 minute time limit and therefore was a draw.
This did not sit well with the fans, Ripper and Jordan where not exactly happy either. However sportsmanship was shown when the two men shock hands to the delight of the fans.
Results – Time Limit Draw
MAIN EVENT
AWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
The New Connection (c)
MJ Windsor & James Lucas
Vs
Whitey Ford
&
Kevin Kash
The main event saw the AWA Tag Team Championships being defended against Whitey Ford and Kevin Kash, two men who were not used to working with each other. The lack of experience did show, especially against the well tuned team of MJ Windsor and James Lucas.
But the fighting spirit from Ford and Kash made up for things and it was clear that the New Connection had a fight on their hands.
At one point Whitey Ford had James Lucas covered, the fans counted but with the referee trying to deal with Kash and Windsor their efforts were worthless.
The end came when Kevin Kash fell victim to an Ego Trip (out of nowhere, cheers Cole) and the New Connection managed to secure the win and retain the straps.
Results – New Connection retained the Tag Team Championships – MJ Windsor pinned Kevin Kash.
Other News
The action after the main event was just as full on as the matches themselves.
Whitey Ford and MJ Windsor battled back and forth well past the closing bell. Suprisingly Slam II showed up along with Othello Craven and dragged “The EGO” out of harms way.
These strange actions were explained as MJ Windsor spoke out and informed everyone that the matches at Hardcore Hell were changing.
Slam II earlier actions against Lucias Bird meant that “The Word” had reportedly suffered 1, possibly 2 broken ribs and was having trouble breathing without pain. MJ seemed to love this and let it be known that therefore Lucias Bird would be removed from his spot in the main event World Championship match.
MJ went on to say that Anthony Jordan would not be getting the night off, and that a new challenger had been picked. A man that had in fact beaten Jordan recently and the very man that put Lucias Bird out of action. Anthony Jordan would be facing Slam II for the AWA Worlds Championship on Sunday 25th April!
Looking very pleased for himself, MJ explained that himself and Slam were not friends, and in fact they hated each other. However, sometimes you have to work with the devil to get what you want, and that meant Slam II worked with MJ Windsor in order to secure a shot at the AWA title.
MJ thought he had wrapped up the night nicely, but he was once again stopped by NJD and Ripper.
NJD said he accepts MJs call for the main event, but the fact is that Ripper was set to face Slam II at Hardcore Hell, and that’s would not be changed. NJD turned the World Championship match into a Triple Threat Street Fight, with Ripper being the 3rd man!
And NJD was not finished, he said that seeing as Slam II had been rewarded, he thought it was only fair to reward Othello Craven for his work earlier in the night. Craven would be facing James Lucas for the Hardcore Championship inside a Steel Cage! And this match would also be Triple Threat, and the 3rd man? NJD himself!!!
The New Connection may have ended the night with a victory in the ring, but it was NJD and the fans that headed into Hardcore Hell with smiles on their faces.
Hardcore Hell could see the entire landscape of the AWA shift with new champions crowned and the brutal fight between MJ Windsor and Whitey Ford!
