TRIPLE THREAT
"The Evil Est" Slam II
Vs
Justin Voss
Vs
"The Irishman" Chris O Neal
This triple threat would be a huge opening match for a PPV, let alone a free TV show, and the fans were not disappointed!
Being a triple threat, all 3 men knew that the match would not end in a DQ and therefore rules were broken from the moment the bell rang.
With no clear stand out winner in sight, it was Croc (who had returned at the huge press conference the night before) who helped this match come to an end.
Croc hit the ring and CrocKicked Slam II out of the ring, seizing the moment, Voss hit the style clash finisher on O Neal and scored the victory.
Following the match Croc made it clear that he would be involved in all aspects of the show!
Winner – Justin Voss – pinfal over Chris O Neal
SPECIAL ATTRACTION
NON TITLE
Hardcore Fred (c)
Vs
"The Superstar" Sheldon Reese
Another PPV main event calibre match up for what was a huge show for the AWA.
The fans were so excited to see these two genuine legends lock horns.
Sheldon Reese was on form, but understandably a little rusty and the man who carries the soon to be unified Chaos Championship, Hardcore Fred used this to his advantage.
After a gruelling 25 minutes, both men were lagging, and the referee was also slowing down, so much so he failed to move as Fred went for a clothesline and the Superstar ducked. The ref was out cold, but order was soon restored, well sort of, as once again the Aussie Icon showed up, this time sporting a ref shirt.
This time around Croc decided to lay out the popular Hardcore Fred, leaving the way for Reese to take the victory.
With the fans slightly confused, Croc once again got on the mic and told them that (a) he was getting in practice for his job at the PPV, and (b) he is keeping the entire roster and all the fans guessing, he was in control and he loved it!
Winner – Sheldon Reese – pinfal
MAIN EVENT
AWA UNDISPUTED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
The New Connect (c)
MJ Windsor, James Lucas & Tyson Bronx
Vs
"The Role Model" Anthony Jordan
&
"The Virus" Ripper
&
Whitey Ford
The main event had a lot to live up to and it certainly did!
With championship gold on the line, the contenders were going full throttle and the champions were defending with everything they had.
Tyson Bronx is a big man, but he is also the least experienced out of the six men in this match up, and unfortunately for the New Connection, it showed. He was soon trapped in the ring as ‘Team USCW’ made quick tags and wore him down.
Eventually all hell broke loose, and inside the ring Anthony Jordan took down MJ with the Perfect Example, the referee made the count and the fans exploded as they were told they had new tag team champions, Team USCW!
But within seconds the bubble was burst as Mr Draven showed up, screaming and shouting that MJ was not the legal man in the ring and that therefore the min does not count! Annoyingly this was true, and the match was ordered to restart!
However, before it did, Croc made his final appearance of the night. Walking up to Mr Draven he eyed him up, and then BAM! CrocKick for the 2nd time in as many days to the CEO and Owner of the AWA!
Croc headed to the ring as MJ Windsor now officially tagged himself in, sensing he could take advantage of all the distractions he went straight for Anthony Jordan. James Lucas took Ripper to the outside with a cross body over the ropes as Ford and Bronx fought back and forth.
MJs luck really was out though as feeling a little cocky he turned to brag to the fans, only to be met by the 4th and final CrocKick of the night, looking like it literally took his head off MJ slumped to the floor.
Jordan made the cover and the bubble that was burst earlier was now very much back in play as Team USCW was officially named AWA Tag Team Champions!
Croc did not hang around this time, happy with his work and being applauded by the fans the Aussie Icon took off, having made it very clear for all to see that he was back in the AWA and was playing by his own rules!
Winners and NEW AWA Tag Team Champions – TEAM USCW (Jordan, Ripper, Ford) – Pinfal by Jordan over MJ Windsor
