Anarchy was a memorable night for the New Connection and especially for the AWA Undisputed Worlds Heavyweight Champion, “The Ego” MJ Windsor, unfortunately it was memorable for him for all the wrong reasons!
The show kicked off with Chris Sonner trying to get a few worlds with the Worlds Champion, Sonner put his personal well being on the line by announcing that he had not seen or heard from the reigning Hardcore Champion, James Lucas. A slightly flusters MJ Windsor requested that Khris Heaven remove Sonner from the New Connection Suite door way, and she did so with force, kicking Sonner out having not received any answers.
In the ring the action moved to the first match of the night.
Dominic Slay Vs "Your Hero" Justin Voss
The opening match pitted two men against each other who had little more in common than the desire to win, in fact this is the only reason they were going one on one, it was an opportunity for the new comer Dominic Slay to show his worth inside the AWA and a chance for the veteran, Justin Voss to prove he still has ‘it’, that special something that made him one of the most recognisable names in the history of the business.
The match was tough, a back and forth battle with a number of near falls.
However the end came like a bolt of lightening, a moment of misjudgement by Voss and the hungry, eager Dominic Slay struck!
Slay hurled Voss into the ropes and went for a clothesline, but Voss ducked and stopped in his tracks, but before he could retaliate, Slay flipped himself into the air and connected with an awesome ‘Pele Axe Kick’, catching Voss on the side of the head and knocking him silly.
Taking advantage, Slay made the cover, hooked the leg and took a huge step upwards in his climb to reach the top of the AWA.
Next up was the first of two tag team matches.
Slam II & "The Myth" Marcus Cooper Vs Alex Monroe & "The Infamous" Christopher Too Cool
The AWA’s current mix of new comers and ‘veterans’ was certainly evident in this match, with both teams combining the two.
The ‘tag team’ dynamics that making a team successful were sadly missed for much of this contest, with neither team having any experience in working with each other it seemed that for the most part the 4 individuals were in it for themselves.
This allowed Slam II to take the advantage, hitting a ‘stunner’ like move on Christopher Too Cool that rocked his socks.
Moments later and the match was all over, with The Outlaw looking strong.
Next was some action that the fans rally had been waiting for. The retired Crazy Bill, confronting the cocky AWA new comer, Kokaine.
IN RING UNSANCTIONED CONFRONTATION
Crazy Bill & Kokaine
The men were asked to take a seat on opposite sides of a table, with the hope that this would stop this ‘confrontation’ breaking down into a brawl.
Well it served its purpose…for a while.
The insults went back and forth, with the legend Crazy Bill explaining that whilst he may not be allowed to meet Kokiane in a ‘wrestling match’ and pin him 123, he is more than capable of kicking his arse all over the arena!
Kokaine made his case that Crazy Bill was in fact a lucky man because he was retired it meant that he would not have to add another official defeat to his win/loss record.
Things were getting heated, when Dominic Slay turned up, chair in hand he slide in behind the Crazy One and went to attack, but the hall of famer had seen it coming and managed to counter, knocking Slay out of the ring. However Bill was not ready when Kokiane hooked him into the … and slammed Bills head down into the chair that had remained in the ring.
Things looked very bad for Crazy Bill as Slay got himself back into the ring and brought another chair with him.
Luckily Jake Andrews showed up, the duo of Kokaine and Slay decided they had done enough and exited just as Andrews hit the ring
But the action was not over.
MJ Windsor, the man currently guiding the AWA ship made his way out and announced that seeing as he is the man that retired Crazy Bill and seeing as he is the man with the power in the AWA, he has decided to ‘shake things up’.
At the next AWA PPV, announced as UNFINISHED BUSINESS II, Crazy Bill would be brought out of retirement for 1 match, a NO HOLDS BARRED – FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE match, one on one against Kokaine!
This huge announcement brought us to the main event tag team match
"The New Connection" Vs "The American Idol" Jonas Lee & "The Solution" Jake Andrews
With MJ already in the ring, the music for James Lucas played out, and played out, and played out.
With the concern growing on MJ Windsor face, it was clear that James Lucas was not showing up!
With his opponents heading to the ring and hungry for tear apart the arrogant World Champion, MJ could either front it and show the world why he was a champion or bottle it and claim the match to be cancelled.
Well MJ had no need to make the decision as a very, very unlikely ally came to the rescue.
Cue “The Outlaw” Slam II, shocking the entire world as he came out to the ring and informed MJ Windsor that he had been thinking, long and hard and had come to the decision that fighting against MJ Windsor was not getting him anywhere, and in fact he is going to play his life out now by following the old saying ‘if you can’t beat um…then join um!’
The fans were suitably annoyed and then let Slam know, but he was adamant, he wanted to prove himself to MJ and side with him in the match.
Having little or no other options, MJ agreed and the fans got something they never thought they would see, MJ Windsor and Slam II willingly teaming together.
And Slam proved to be a great partner, with the match eventually ending with MJ avenging his loss a week earlier to Jonas Lee when he connected with the Ego Trip and made the pin.
The celebration however, was cut extremely short as Slam took to the mic as MJs theme music stopped.
Slam let it be known that what he said earlier was in fact ‘bullshit’! Much to the fans approval.
Slam teamed with MJ Windsor for one reason and one reason only, and that was to make sure he remained healthy.
MJ was a little confused by this, so Slam explained that he had been waiting and waiting for the right time to remind MJ and everyone else that he had never actually invoked his ‘one on one’ rematch clause for the Worlds Championship which he lost to MJ in November 2009.
But now he is, and it is a water tight contract, MJ can either grant the match or have his championship deemed as ‘disputed’ until the issue is resolved!
Well MJ was seething with rage, stuck between a rock and a hard place he told Slam II that he could have his rematch, but it would be his last ever match for the Undisputed Championship, once MJ had beaten him again Slam would never again get a shot at the belt as long as MJ was the champion.
Slam agreed and the match was set for UNFINISHED BUSINESS and Anarchy went off air after a blockbuster night.
