[glow=black,2,300]The Fall Out
from
The Night Before[/glow]
With MJ Windsor incharge of this show, less than 24 hours after Halloween Havoc, it looked set to be a painful night as MJ was hell bent on making anyone and everyone suffer after James Lucas failed to take the Worlds Championship inside the Terror Dome.
To open the show, MJ announced that the champion vs champion match would still be the main event, but he would be the special referee. He also made it know that James Lucas had been granted the night off after last nights robbery!
The first match up was a rematch of sorts from the night before
Brian Shelby Vs Green
Both a little sore from the brutal hardcore match, but they went at it full steam, but were kept within the rules this time.
Eventually Brian Shelby gained the advantage and managed to gain some revenge after it was Green who eliminated him in the 5 pack challange, Shelby put Green away for the 3 count.
Backstage The Ringmaster ran into MJ. He told him that next week it was his show and he had some interesting match ups all ready to go. He would annouce them on AWA.com following tonight show.
He warned MJ not to take things too far in the main event and that he would be watching.
The next match was
Frost Vs Kokaine
MJs concern for welfare clearly only extended to his protege as he made Frost compete just 24 hours after the Terror Dome match.
Kokaine looked less cocky as he tied up with Frost in the ring, possibly feeling humbled by the events of the previous evening.
Frost had no intention of letting up though as he was as pissed off as anyone having not won the worlds championship the night before.
Chris James showed face again, staying on the outside this time but distracting Kokiane long enough for Frost to hit the Out Cold and collect a win
The AWA fans were told that Jakes Andrews medical status was undisclosed, the severity of any injury was unclear and that updates would be given via AWA.com.
The evening rolled on into the main event
Hardcore Champion, Gavin Drake
Vs
World Champion, Slam II
The special referee, MJ Windsor got into the ring with the two champions, he warned them both that if they so much as looked at him the wrong way he would suspend them.
Slam II looked to have other things on his mind, namely Vixen who was brutally attacked at Halloween Havoc
However, the match kicked off and and there was no rest for either man as they went for big moves and near falls.
As the clock struck 15 minutes MJ called for the bell, he announced that the time limit was up and that neither man won, meaning they were both lossers!
MJ then announced that he had to get business back in order and therefore he was envoking HIS rematch for the worlds championship, he said he has a cast iron contract and what he did by giving James Lucas a title shot means nothing!
MJ ordered Drake out of the ring and then called for the bell!
World Championship Match
MJ Windsor
Vs
Slam II (c)
[/i]But before it could get going, The Ringmaster showed up and said that unfortunately, MJ was correct, his contract was solid and there was no way around it!
However, this would be his ONE AND ONLY shot at Slam II, if MJ failed then that was it, no more!
With The Ego looking smug he told The Ringmaster to go to the back and watch from their, but instead Donzig walked out!
The Hardcore Incarnate stomped to ringside, he stopped short of entering the ring and then struck a look of pure hatred to the Ringmaster, before slowly turning to MJ and simply pointing directly at him.
Suddenly MJ feel backwards, Slam had come from behind and school boyd him, the bell had already been rung so the ref was in position and 3 seconds later MJs 'cunning' plan had fallen on its ass as Slam was declared the winner and still AWA Champion![/i]
MJs evening running the show was over and he was worse off than when he started!
Matches for next weeks show, run by The Ringmaster will be announced soon on AWA.COM!
