AWA.com and the entire AWA are devastated to have to report that at 4:30 pm (est time) David Keith Slam senior was found dead at his winter cabin in Virginia by a cousin.
Slam II, seniors son contacted AWA officials at 6:45 pm (est time) with the final confirmation. S
lam II has made no other statements but is at work getting his father his burial arrangements.
David Slam was most recently involved in a gripping feud with long time rival AWA Superstar, Donzig.
Everyone in the AWA wishes to extend the very deepest sympathy to David Slams family.
The position of his son, reigning AWA Champion, Slam II, within the company has not been discussed. It is thought that he will be taking some time away from his AWA duties.
