<>the landscape of the AWA had changed over the last week, indeed the AWA was now fronted by a man who many still categories as a 'rookie'.
Ryan Green is now not only one half of the AWA Tag Team Champions, but he is also the AWA Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion.
But far from this being the big story of the moment, what most fans and internet freaks are talking about is the returns of legends 'The Icon' Croc and Ripper<>
<>The tune, Just Be Good to Green plays out around the arena and the fans in attendance know that they need to start jeering as their new world champion, Green, is about to show his face.
Green walks out onto the stage with a huge smile dominating his face, over his right shoulder is one of the awa tag team championship belts and now, fitted around his waist is his newly won awa world heavyweight championship belt.
Green looks at his should and then down to his waist and his smile grows even wider.
Green takes a few steps and then Marcus Cooper, the other half of the tag team champions walks out and the two men make their way down to the ringside, taking the steps into the ring itself

last sunday night i walked into hell to face the unworthy Jake Andrews and i walked out with the biggest prize in this business.
Jake Andrews secured a cheap victory to pick up the first fall, even though i had him pinned already, but his cheating ways would not be enough to stop me from steam rolling right over him and taking the next two falls with ease.
and how symbolic is it that i finally reached the top of the awa by climbing the ladder and grabbing success with my own hands?! I have said it since day one, that i would start at the bottom and do whatever needed to be done to get to the top, and i have done it all in 3 months! 3 friggin months!
I am the man now, no arguements, no debates, i am the man and i sit at the top of the awa and alongside Marcus Cooper we are going to rule with an iron fist!
On monday night we both were successful in our singles matches, with me proving without doubt that i am the superior englishman and Gavin Drake is nothing but a chancer!
and on January 3rd, to see in the new year in style, we are going to defend out tag team championships and put another beat down on Andrews and Drake!
You see, I am the real deal, i have done what Regal and Davey Boy failed to do and thats claim a world championship and this is only the beginning for me and Marcus Cooper.
The same however can not be said for a couple of 'legends' that have seen fit to return to the fray, perhaps the money has run out and they need a few quid to help pay for the day care they need, but the fact is that that awa is in new hands now and the likes of Croc and Ripper are not welcome.
They are the past, this is the present and the future and they have no place standing with us.
So you two need to keep this visit short and sweet, you need to keep out of our way, have a friggin gimmick match and make a quick buck because believe me, you do not want to get my attention any more than you already have because it wont be day care you need, it will be 24/7 hospital care if you dare to try and make this some kind of nostalgia, tna bullshit show!"
