I don't know if Jeff has re-signed, yet. Punk as a heel or even a tweener would be good. I'd like to see him say that he went after Jeff because of his years of reckless abuse to his body and lack of respect for the business. It's not a heel thing, yet the fans wouldn't like it.

JERICHO - that sucks, what is the point. they have a depth of mid carders on SD who could do with the spotlight of the strap.
KOFI - please they did not have him drop it so soon
BATISTA - suprised, not overly. Batista is a huge face, 2nd to Cena on Raw right now. Would they let him continue to be dominated by Orton. No. Will Orton get the belt back, yes.
CM Punk - cool, he looked heelish, if that continues ill be happier than with a face Punk, that went down like the titanic last time.
EDGE - what now for him? an IC title feud with Jericho. I pray not. A non title feud with Jericho, that would be sweet. I have a feeling Edge could have a decent face run at the moment.
JEFF - ill say it, im not a huge fan, so i do not have much to say.
CENA - fuck him
BIG SHOW - a win could have helped keep him going, he has been built up slowly since WM24 and to be honest, if he continues to be seen as 'not quite good enough', he will probably give up on the effort again, get fatter and get shit. Its a shame, at a good weight he can be pretty damn impressive.

(Crosses fingers and hopes for Punk heel turn) It'd be great, but it wouldn't be the smart move. Since WWE is PG-rated, there's no way they would want to make the guy who says no to drugs and alcohol be the bad guy. They can do it. It's rather simple honestly and they did it with him keeping the gimmick he has now in ROH, he just had it tweeked to have it look like he's "better" than everyone else BECAUSE he is straight edge. |

Yeah, the sXe guy can be a heel in the new PG system. You can't have a guy like Austin, RVD or the Sandman oppose him like back in the day, but he can act so holier than thou that it turns people off regardless of their life choices.

I just think that they'd like to have Punk as a role model... now, most kids wouldn't be like, "I'm going to smoke pot because I hate CM Punk"... but I think you'd have more kids who would stay away from it if they have Punk as a positive role model.
However- upon seeing the actual footage... yes, Punk seems to be heelish. Very surprising. But Punk vs. Hardy (vs. Edge?) should be a great match. I'm just torn... neither Punk nor Hardy got to have respectable title runs. Punk's lasted a few months, but he never got any impressive/clean wins... and Hardy's only lasted one month. Now that Punk has the title, I'd like to see him be a strong champion with a long reign... but I want Hardy to hold the title, too.

I think Punk has a much better chance at a long title run now he's on smackdown. Edge seems the type who won't say: "Give me the title and let me fued with *** or you'll regret it"
The Ortons the Hs the Undertakers They pull the 'experience and power' card. I can't see Edge doing that. He'll put Punk over in a good fued.
I'd love Punk vs Hardy vs Edge at Summerslam in a good ol fashioned no DQ match. That could be almost as good as Jericho vs Benoit vs Angle for the IC title and Euro title.
I like Smackdown sooooo much better than RAW.
I want Rey to drop the IC Title to a mid card guy who is great but not at the world title level just yet....Like Benjamin..... or Swagger moving to Smackdown to take it.
P.S. I love Kofi. He's damn good in that ring and I hope they aren't done letting him showcase everything and move up the ladder.
