Predictions, bitching, etc.

"Miss WrestleMania" Hog Pen Match: Vickie Guerrero (c) vs. Santina Marella

Ugh. I love Santino, but I've been hating this Santina gimmic. My guess is that Vickie will win with help of her goonies, but afterward she'll and the goons will get a drenched in the pigpen. Vince, just let Santino be Santino after tonight...


Samoan Strap Match: CM Punk vs. Umaga

Should be a damn good match... It's kinda even right now, since Umaga won at Judgment Day while Punk won on the last Smackdown... I think I'll go with Umaga. The Somoan Strap is his territory. But I don't think this feud is over yet.


WWE United States Championship - Fatal Four Way Match: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. MVP vs. William Regal vs. Matt Hardy

There's no way they're going to take Kofi's title away from his so soon. But these are four of the best wrestlers on RAW;this should be a helluva match. I wish Matt didn't have his injury angle, but alas...


WWE Intercontinental Championship - No Holds Barred Match: Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Chris Jericho

I feel like Jericho's above the IC Title... he and Edge have been having some hostility towards each other, but I don't see either of them turning face any time soon- not when they're both so good at being a heel. I think Rey will get the victory here...


Submission Match- John Cena vs. Big Show

Ugh. Cena, I guess. Cause Cena sells merchandise.


ECW Championship - Triple Threat Hardcore Rules- Christian (c) vs. Jack Swagger vs. Tommy Dreamer

This is one of the hardest to call...Dreamer's been extremely loyal to WWE and the new ECW... the fact that he's never held the title in the new ECW is criminal. But I think Dreamer's ready to call it quits. And I think Swagger will be the one to pin him- sort of a "passing of the torch" thing, but also a very heelish thing to do. I'm going with Swagger for the win. (On a side note: They teased us with animosity between Edge and Christian a while back... I wonder if they have anything planned? Edge vs. Christian at Summerslam would be pretty kickass...)


World Heavyweight Championship - Ladder Match: Edge (c) vs. Jeff Hardy

I freakin' LOVE ladder matches... and these two have had many in the past, many of which were against each other. And despite the fact that Jeff is my favorite wrestler... I think Edge is going to win. The World Heavyweight Title has been shifting hands way too much lately. I think it's stable in Edge's hands for another few months. I do think Jeff is going to resign with WWE, and will take a much lighter schedule... I just really hope WWE gives him another title reign at some point, and a respectable one at that.


WWE Championship - Steel Cage Match: Randy Orton (c) vs. Batista

Orton will win. He has way too much momentum. I wonder when Triple H is coming back?... it's weird how much I miss Triple H right now. I don't like him when he has the title, because it gets stale- he's been the champ so many times. He's still an outstanding wrestler in my opinion, and that's why I want him back... maybe tonight? (On a side note- I want to see Triple H vs. HBK. At Wrestlemania. One more time. Those two have put on AMAZING matches together).

but ref Matt Hardy, the injury angle sucks, but what is worse is after his WM build up and his wins over Jeff, he is now a bottom feeding mid carder again, one of Vickies bitchs much like Chavo.

sad really, but was he ever going to be main event? not in my eyes. it is a shame, he is everything he brother is not, loyal, reliable and totally dedicated to wrestling.

but Jeff has something else, not sure what it is, but Matt lacks it and it will mean he will always be 2nd to his younger brother.

While I think Jeff is the better wrestler, I do agree with you, Luke... Matt totally deserves better.

BUT- I wouldn't say Jeff isn't loyal or dedicated- he just fucked up. He's human- it happens. He served his punishment, and appears to be clean now.

I've missed the last 1.5 weeks of wrestling, so I'm a bit off going into the PPV. I'll agree with the predictions MT made.

Santina wins (to keep their "feud" going)....

I agree that Umaga will win....and I also agree that the feud isn't over. One more match, and Punk will win that....but the strap match belongs to Umaga.

United States Championship will be Kofi. He'll pin Matt or Regal. MVP should be moving up soon. I'd love to see MVP vs. Orton.

Rey vs. Chris Jericho will be Jericho. As much as I hate to say it. I see Jericho winning and taking Reys mask. The gimmick has been played around with too much. Jericho takes the mask and the title. Next month, Rey comes back and tries to win it back....or, takes a short break, Jericho loses the title to someone younger, then Rey comes back and both men are put in the main events.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Big Show will win. He needs this win WAY more than Cena does. If Cena wins, I fear he'll be facing Orton next month.

I pray they let Dreamer have a title run....then, lose it to Swagger before he retires. Dreamer deserves a title run....even if it's a small one.

I'd like to think that Hardy will lose to Edge, but I doubt it. I think Hardy deserves a win....but I don't see them letting Edge lose already.

And there is no way Batista will beat Orton. Orton is THE MAN on Raw right now, and I honestly think he'll be the champion for a while....I would however, love to see HBK come back and challenge Orton and win it. That would be awesome!

These are the people that are going over. Santino, because this is a comedy match, its always fun to watch annoying bitch gimmick to go under just so they can complain on the next TV.
Umanga will go over in a way similar to the Russian chain match at the GAB in 91 I believe. I really want Regal to get the US strap, but in all honesty its Kofi going over in this one, he's the big name for mid-card, if that makes sense. Jericho over in the IC title, maybe Vince will make me happy (doubt it but oh so worth the wishing and have two good workers have worker titles.) Cena over cause well fuck he's John Cena and he's more over than anyone right now as a baby. Jack Swagger over, pinning Dreamer, hopefully soon I'll be in the ring with Tommy :-). Hardy over on Edge. I think I heard something about Hardy signing a contract extension that has at least a title reign in it. Batista is going over tonight just so they can have a huge gimmick match at Summerslam 2009.

Kofi retains: We all saw this coming.

CM Punk wins: I'm guessing this feud will be over with now. I'm guessing Umaga will eventually turn into another Kane type character....big, strong, powerful heel that loses all the time when it matters.

Chris Jericho wins: He wins the title, and took off Reys mask. Just like I thought. No idea where they'll go with this, but, maybe we'll see a new side to Rey now that his mask is gone.

I'm kind of surprised they took Rey's mask off... I don't feel his character needs a rebirth or anything. Remember when WCW took off his mask? Ugh.

Congrats to Dreamer. I have no problem with him taking the title from Christian, even though their matches have been lackluster. Hopefully the addition of Swagger made it a good match.
