No idea what happened to Don. Here's the deal, and this goes out to everyone.
The AWA is about to close. I hate that thought, and I know Luke feels the same way. With the help of you guys, we've had an e-fed place to call home for many many years. When you think back to it, we've been an e-fed for over ten years. I'm not 100% sure how long it's been, but I believe we started out in 2000, which makes us 11yrs old. The thought of closing makes me very sad. With WM here (making professional wrestling exciting again) it really makes it hard to think about closing. WM always makes me think of Battle of Champions/Battle of Britain PPV's and how awesome they were.
So what are we going to do? Well, here's my thought. When I first created the AWA, it was a "part time" fed. I knew a lot of us were busy with careers, kids, families etc. So I started the AWA and we had a 2-4 RP limit. If someone wanted to RP more, they could, but only 2-4 counted. I'm thinking if we did this again, I would make it a 3 RP limit. So here's my suggestion . . .
I am willing to keep this place open. Run a weekly show. If a weekly show becomes too much, we change it to a bi-weekly show, and one PPV a month. We keep two titles. The AWA World Heavyweight Championship and the AWA Hardcore Championship.
However, although I am willing to try this, there is no guarantee it couls work. It would all depend on you guys. If we could get 6 or more characters/people who wanted to do this, then I would be alright with trying. If not, then we're done. We'll close the doors and I'll go back to writing my AWA Story. It's up to you guys. I need some input from you guys. Let me know ASAP.
