'High' above the Rest

[SLAM II]

We open the scene backstage with Slam 2 sitting on his locker room couch a large bong sitting in the floor, smoke still rolls out of the top and from the bowl piece. He has his head rested on the back of the couch, smoke rolling slowly out of his mouth, and he had a big smile on his face. A knock came at the door, Slam didn't move, another set of loud knocks, again Slam didn't move, then a louder harder knock, and this time Slam looked at the door.[/color]

-Slam II- "Come in?"

The door opened and in walked Chris Sonner.[/color]

-Chris Sonner- "Should I come back later David?"

Slam waved a hand at Sonner.[/color]

-Slam II- "Nah man, come on in grab a seat I got a few seconds to spare before I go to the gym"

Sonner picks up a folding chair sitting it down in front of the couch clearing his throat. Slam 2 takes a rip from his bong.[/color]

-Chris Sonner- "Well David I got a few questions about your upcoming match with two legends Anthony Jordan and MJ Windsor"

Slam blew out a big cloud of smoke right in Sonner's face, he coughs a little fanning the smoke.[/color]

-Slam II- "I am more then ready to step into the ring with Anthony Jordan and MJ! I kept up with my training after this place almost shut down and stayed in the ring with smaller indy companys to keep myself on top of the game, so if your thinking I'm worried about being beat, well I'm going to call you a fucking idiot"

-Chris Sonner- "So your saying you are in your prime enough to beat BOTH Jordan and Windsor?"

-Slam II- "More then in my prime Chris, I'm high above the rest in the AWA! I am a three time AWA Undisputed Champion I ended the career of Ripper for good and THREE times I fatted the lip of that crooked smiling MJ Windsor, because I as I said I am high above the rest"

-Chris Sonner- "What about Anthony Jordan, the man people say changed and rewrote the history of this company and many before it?"

-Slam II- "Jordan is old news and should have took his own advice which was to retire and call it quits! He has done all he can for AWA but I guess I won't have no problem putting a old dog down"

-Chris Sonner- "Rumor around back is that you have got Korey Kill a job here and you see the face of a new breed of wrestling in his eyes, any truth to this?"

Slam takes another long hit from his bong and then blows out another cloud of smoke in Sonner's face.[/color]

-Slam II- "I can say I got him the job that part is true. The other gay part about eye reading is false, I do see a future star in the making and if Korey is smart he will align himself with the future of this company which is me because I'm high above the rest"

-Chris Sonner- "Are you looking for a partnership?"

-Slam II- "I am Chris because this place runs off the strength of a strong group, with me at the head and Korey beside me then AWA won't know what hit them! BUT lets not get ahead of ourselfves buddy, Korey has alot to still prove to me until I call out for his help. Right now I have nothing to worry about no New Connection, no Affliction, and no one here will ever be able to touch me after Monday when I prove once again why I am HIGH above the rest"

Chris shakes hands with Slam and goes to leave when Slam begins to laugh waving for him to come back.[/color]

-Slam II- "You know I got a new name for my best friend MJ, 'Slam's Bitch' MJ Windsor! ITS GOT A GREAT FUCKING RING TO IT!!!"

-Chris Sonner- "Sure does David, sure does"

Chris leaves and Slam settles back down with his bong and looks at the camera smiling.[/color]

-Slam II- "And my final thought goes out to you Mister Green, after Korey is done beating your ass into the ground come find me because I want to seattle this dispute about who is the REAL AWA Undisputed champion! Until then Green watch your fucking tone around here"

moments later Chris Sonner walks back into Slam II's room, he is hold the side of his face and between his chubby little fingers you can see a deep red mark.
seconds later he is followed by MjW and his wife, Angela Windsor.
MJ is shaking his head as Angela is rubbing the palm of her right hand with the thumb from her left.
Slam looks up, he does not over react but he is ready to go if needs be


MjW
"Tell him..."


Sonner takes his hand away from his face to reveal the scale of the red marking and he looks at Slam


Chris Sooner
"Mr & Mrs Windsor were walking by outside when they heard your comments about having a new name for for him, and they heard me agreeing that it had a 'ring to it' "


Mrs Angela Windsor
"Thats right, so i slapped his podgy little face and now my hand hurts.
Michael, my hand hurts!"


MJ looks at his wifes hand and then to Sonner, MJs expression turns sour


MjW
"You need to waddle off on out of here right now...get!"


Sonner does as he is told, knowing that the next thing to happen wont be a friendly warning, but more likely a solid fist to the skull


Mrs Angela Windsor
"dont you think he deserves the same? he made the comment after all!"


Angela points to Slam II whilst looking to her husband. Slam straightens himself up a little and looks at MJ, but MJ holds up his hands in a show of 'peace'


MjW
"Hey, nothing is going to kick off here, thats not why i stopped by Slam...
...my wife, she gets a little defensive, she likes to look after her man, i can not blame her for that!"


Angela nods in agreement, but is clearly a little unhappy that she is not getting to slap the smoke from Slams face


MjW
"I had planned to come and see you Slam, and when we were walking by and heard your ramblings i thought now was as good a time as any...
...you see Slam, i know you do not like me, and lets be honest there is no reason for me to like you, we are about as different as it gets...
...i am good looking, athletic, gifted, wealthy and i take pride in my appearance and look after my health...
...you, well you are the exact opposite on all levels...

...BUT, it takes all sorts to make this world go around so id like to let you know that just like i have with Anthony, i am forgiving you for all the awful things you have done to me and all the awful things you have made me do to you...

...things are back to how they should be now, the fans are treating me like the hero that i am, im happy with life, i am fitter than i have ever been, i have a great wife and i am once again right were i should be...in the main events...

...and on June 6th i will once again be doing what i should be doing, and thats winning in the main events...

...you have had my number before Slam, but that was then and this is now...

...and sure you made some comments, you tried to make a joke at my expense, but im a bigger man that that Slam, it is just one more thing im willing to forgive your for...

...so how about we start fresh? How about we shake hands and move forward?"


MJ steps forward and extends the hand of 'friendship'.
Can MJ really be trusted? He is right, the fans are once again cheering him and he is once again on path to becoming the peoples choice, but does that change anything?

[SLAM II]

Slam smiles up to MJ and then does a wiping motion under his eyes, he then pushed himself up to his feet, but not before ripping his bong.[/color]

-Slam II- "Well hot'damn did we just bond MJ?!"

Slam holds his arms out to his side taking a step towards MJ who jumps in front of his wife.[/color]

-Slam II- "All is forgiven brother, lets hug in rejoice! I've said things to hurt you, and you've said some things to hurt me but in the end....DAMMIT man!"

Slam lets out the smoke from his last hit, his face was red from holding it in, and he begins to cough into MJ's face still reaching for a hug.[/color]

-Slam II- "HUG ME MAN!!"

there is a chance the Slam has called MJs bluff, but MJ knows he has to suck it up and see this through so he cracks a fake smile and reluctantly holds out his arms as hell freezes over at the same time as Slam II and MjW embrace in a 'man hug'.
MJ can only handle it for so long before he starts to cough and splutter at the smoke surrounding him.
MJ lets go and takes a step back, keeping the fake smile going


MjW
"So, thats that then. Ill see you on June 6th!"


MJ goes to turn away, wanting to get out, get washed and put on some new clothes, but Slam reaches out and grabs MJs shoulder, turning him back around


Slam II
"Hey man, why so quick, sit down and take a smoke, and the wifey too!"


Angela Windsor does not even consider it, she turns on her heels and heads out the room. somehow MJ find himself being sat down, possibly to get involved in something he does not want to get involved in!

[SLAM II]

Slam pushes MJ onto the couch and then flops down beside him smiling.[/color]

-Slam II- "Damn right June 6th and all that, but now we celebrate MJ!"

Slam begins to search the couch, MJ shrinks into the couch trying to be as small as possible. After a few minutes Slam produces a large plastic bag with the words 'SUPER Lemon Haze'.[/color]

-Slam II- "You know for us to be two different people your a 'cool' guy MJ, not a bad bloke after all....You do say bloke right? Mate. Same shit"

MJ just stares at Slam. The plastic bag contains alot of pre-rolled joints which Slam just reaches in grabbing a handful laying them in his lap, he stashes the bag back in the couch, and he takes his lighter sparking one of the joints.[/color]

-Slam II- "So what do you do in your spare time MJ? Bowling? Frisbee golf? Cricket? I do alot man"

Slam continues to just talk to the silent MJ. The scene fades from 8:30pm to 9:00pm then reppears with Slam stilling smoking a joint but a labtop is in his lap.[/color]

-Slam II- "I enjoy looking up stupid shit on the internet, ever seen a cat trip on LSD?"

Slam begins pounding keys laughing.[/color]

-Slam II- "Be prepared to laugh your fucking ass off pal!"

Slam bursts out laughing. The scene fades away from 9:01pm to 9:34pm and reappers with Slam standing in the doorway of his locker room talking to a AWA crew man.[/color]

-Slam II- "Bryan come in man! Shit I'm just having a play date with my new friend MJ Windsor, come join!"

Bryan walks in holding a hand up to MJ, MJ just returns a glance to Bryan but it is a displeased face. Slam sits back downbeside MJ, and Bryan sits beside Slam who is firing up two joints now.[/color]

-Bryan AWA Crew Guy- "David man your the coolest! MJ I didn't even know you smoked"

-Slam II- "He don't, he is just one of those guys..."

Slam whispers into Bryans ear.[/color]

-Slam II- "A real stiff"

Again the scene fades away at 9:42pm to 10:10pm, both Bryan and Slam are laughing at the labtop watching something.[/color]

-Bryan AWA Crew Guy- "CATS ON LSD...THE BEST!"

It fades away then returns again this time "Free Willy" by Kottonmouth Kings is playing Slam is got a arm around Bryan who has a arm around Slam and both men are crying.[/color]

-Slam II- "He was done so wrong man!! WILLY!! FREE WILLY!!"

-Bryan AWA Crew Guy- "Your just preachin to the choir man, I know!!"

The scene fades away again then returns as Slam 2 and Bryan are speed dance fighting with numbchucks.[/color]

-Slam II- "This is what Chuck Norris trains too!"

-Bryan AWA Crew Guy- "I saw a video of Chuck really kicking the ass of some bank robbers with speed dancing and a sword!"

-Slam II- "BADASS!"

The scene fades away again now Slam 2 is sitting beside MJ, Bryan on the other side, both Slam and Bryan are sporting bleeding noses, and a red swollen eye.[/color]

-Bryan AWA Crew Guy- "Bad idea"

Slam just nods.[/color]

-Slam II- "Hope our bad idea didn't ruin your fun MJ, we still got June 6th!"

Slam says this with a smile.[/color]
