I was on the FLAW myspace and read a few blogs about looking for a new lead singer.
I guess Chris Volz is an alcoholic that would get so drunk he couldn't perform. But, they are bashing the guy left and right.
Wouldn't it be more professional to say: "Due to a conflict, Chris Volz has stepped away from FLAW. We are looking for a new lead singer"
They act like they are 14yrs old! And two things....one, I will NEVER listen to their new stuff because of how immature they seem to be acting in this situation.
and two...my main complaint...
If anyone has listened to FLAW, then you know how unique Volz sounds. He's an amazing singer with a great voice/sound. There is NO WAY they'd be able to recreate that and, that'll hurt their sound I think.
But.....my MAIN MAIN complaint is this: How can you get rid of the head honcho of the band and still call it FLAW? That's like when Scott left Creed. They got another singer but, wouldn't dare call themselves Creed cause they were now different and go as Alterbridge.
I'm annoyed that they won't have his awesome vocals and still call themselves FLAW. I'm pissed about that.
Fuck Them.
Where the fuck is 'X'? I'm sure he knows exactly who FLAW is and will agree with me!
Sorry, just had to bitch a bit

Creed sucks. Alterbridge sucks. Scott Stapp is a tool.
I'm so pissed they are reuniting. There needs to be a balance of shitty bands. When one breaks up, another forms. It goes in a cycle. When Creed split, we gradually got the Jonas Brothers. Now Creed is back, Jonas Brothers are still together, and it's not fucking fair!

I liked Creed, though Matt's feelings almost mirror those of a close friend of mine. It's eerie.

Everyone is reuniting to do a tour....they are running out of money and need to fall back on their old popularity....look at Blink 182 and No Doubt...

I don't think money's got anything to do with it...
Blink got back due to Travis's plane accident... it got the three of them talking again, setting their priorities straight, and eventually deciding to be a band again. Before the reunion, Tom seemed really focused on AVA. Travis was doing remixes and collaborations, Mark was producing (+44 seemed to be sort of a one-time thing). The three probably weren't making as much money as the Blink days, but they all seemed happy. The plane accident just reconnected them, and then suddenly they decided to play together again.
No Doubt never split up... Gwen just went solo. A lot of lead singers do that- look at Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20. And that will probably be the norm; solo, band, solo, band. (Shame, though... No Doubt is a lot more fun that Gwen Stafani's solo career. Same with Thomas and MB20).
Even Creed... I doubt that they got back together for money. They were friends; how many times have you ended a friendship due to bullshit, only to make up later?

MTMT makes a good point....WOW....Did I just say that, another good example would be Motley Crue.
