Animals kill and eat other animals. Humans did that before we evolved to where we are. We probably saw other animals eating eggs and gave it a try.
What don't we try to eat?

Thats a stumper, actually. I'm sure that everything in this world at least one person has tried to eat.
Plasma Tv's. Money. CD's, VHS tapes, glass, stuffed animals, picture frames, doorknobs...at least one person has tried to eat all of those, I'm sure.
