We have a few people RPing. Where is everyone else that wanted one last show? I'm not being a dick, but if you're not going to RP for the match, please let me know and I can remove the match from the card. I'm not going to write a match for people that do not RP for it. I'd rather spend my time and effort working on the matches that people are working hard on. I'm absolutely fine if you sgned up because you were excited, but then realized that you couldn't do this. I'm just asking that you're straight up with me and let me know.

I went through this the last time everyone said they would return, and no one did.
Hopefully it won't be that way this time

I've been around. Just been going through a lot of things on my end that make anything creative a bit difficult. Life's a bitch. I'll throw something else up either today or tomorrow.

Sick is where I've been. When the weather goes from really cold to really nice in a short amount of time it tends to knock me on my ass, so this unseasonable warmth has done me no favors. I can't find the deadline, when do we need stuff in? Is there a roleplay limit?

I think at the moment the general hope is that there will just be action on the RP board, roleplays breed roleplays

I think what also hurt is that the PPV is at the end of the month, and no one wants to go/can go full bore for a whole month (it would be difficult). Sadly, as some wait, they might forget or get busy and not make time.
I think a mass email 10 days or so before the show might be a very wise idea. You were able to drum up interests, but there was no direction. As we took a week to establish direction, we also have 3 weeks of dead space before RPs become official. Since there were talks of a RP limit, why would anyone burn official RPs toward the PPV now?
You could move it to the 15th and mass email everyone, though that may be rushed a bit. Moving it to the 22nd and saying that RPs begin counting on the 15th, but requiring a 2 RP "buy in" (if you won't toss in 2 small ones before the judging period, then you're likely won't show up for the card, so you'll be removed) before the judging period might motivate our members.
Placing the PPV at the end of the month might not have been the most prudent move, and you can't get too mad at guys for taking it easy with 21 days to go before the show.

Roleplay deadline is 9pm (NY TIME) on January 27th. As for a limit on roleplays, no one said anything about a definite. What do you guys want? Do you want there to be a three per week deadline? Then, each week someone gets a point if they roleplayed better than the other? It could work out well. Roleplays can start now and run until the 27th. We can do three per week, four per week. Honestly, it's up to you guys...I'm alright with doing whatever you want to do. Honestly, I like there being three weeks until the PPV, and each week, someone earns a point for out roleplaying the other . . . it would really help me with deciding winners. If someone won the first two weeks (in my opinion) it would be almost impossible for the other person win the match . . . how does that sound to everyone else?

I like that idea. Because if the last week is all the matters, why use up good material before then? Judge us on a weekly basis, then add up the points at the end of the month.

I'd happily write up a show in say a week, a storyline driven show, with matches and backstage antics wtc.
If people didn't want their characters in a match then they can let me know. Personally I have no issue using my character and having him job him out...I've been doing it for years, doesn't bother me if it helps the company. I would not post a show card to RPs, but it might give people something to work with? Like a 'the story so far' or 'progress so far' show.
So if you want that, let me know

Maybe have Draven announce that to warm up and get the ring rust off the competitors, he would hold exhibition matches against local/past talent? You could actually do a lot with that.

Also a fun idea. That could be a fun show to write up. AWA Present vs. AWA/BWA/CWA Past . . . nice idea Whitey. Maybe we'll have one of those shows right before or right after the PPV. We'll see.
