(The show comes back from a commercial break and shows a clip of Ripper insulting Croc ahead of their match at “Anything Goes”. After the clips are shown, the show cuts back to a live shot of Ripper walking in the backstage area of the arena. Ripper is shaking a few of the staff’s hands and joking around with some of the “lesser known” talent, and being an all-round nice guy. Ripper goes into his locker room when suddenly he is ambushed by Croc, who was hiding inside. Croc nails Ripper in the back of the head with a tyre iron, causing Ripper to fall to the ground. Croc crouches down next to Ripper. Ripper is still moving around grabbing the back of his head in pain)
(CROC)
I told you! I told you to shut you f**king mouth! I warned you that you were to stop the stupid jokes and idiotic insults or else. Well guess what… This is the “or else”
(Croc hits Ripper across the head with the tyre iron again, knocking him out cold. Croc then walks back off camera and grabs a sports bag. He drops the bag and picks up Ripper who is nothing but dead weight. Croc puts one of Ripper’s arms around the back of his neck and kind of walks Ripper with him, out of the room and down the hallways. Suddenly one of the AWA production staff approaches Croc and Ripper)
(AWA STAFF)
Is everything alright?
(CROC)
Yeah it’s all cool.
(Croc looks around before leaning into the AWA staff member and talking softly)
(CROC)
I just found Ripper passed out in his locker room with a bottle of vodka and some painkillers. Mate it looks like he is still hooked on the stuff.
(The AWA staff member looks shocked to find out this news)
(CROC)
Can you do me a favour and keep this quiet. If Draven finds out that Ripper is “off the wagon” again he will fire his ass on the spot. I am going to take him to the hospital to get him checked out. I have his clothes and stuff with me.
(Croc motions to the sports bag he is holding in the other hand)
(CROC)
If anyone asks, Ripper and I have just gone down the road to get something to eat and talk over our upcoming match. If Draven wants to talk to Ripper, just ring me and don’t tell anyone! Do it for Rips!
(The AWA staff member nods and gives Croc a wink before patting him on the back)
(AWA STAFF MEMBER)
You are a good friend!
(The staff member walks off and Croc shudders from the thought that someone thinks he is Ripper’s friend. Croc continues to walk Ripper into the parking lot. Croc finds a dark corner of the parking lot, away from any cars and lighting. The area is very poorly lit and Croc throws Ripper to the ground. This seems to stir Ripper a little bit, so Croc kicks the defenceless Ripper right in the head. Croc seems to gain a great deal of satisfaction as he turns to the sports bag and pulls out some rope as the show goes to a quick commercial break)
---- COMMERCIAL BREAK ------
(The show comes back from the commercial break and whilst the break has taken place, Croc has tied Ripper up against a concrete pole in the parking lot. Croc is standing back, laughing to himself. Ripper has started to come to and after a few moments realises he is tied up)
(RIPPER)
Oh not again!
(This draws a small laugh out of the crowd who are watching this all unfold on the AWA-tron. Ripper looks up and sees Croc glaring at him. He tries desperately to wriggle his way free but is unable to do so. He is pinned and can hardly even move his head, let alone the rest of his body. Croc has a permanent marker in his hand and is laughing to himself)
(CROC)
I told you not to do it Ripper. I told you to shut your mouth, but you didn’t listen. You just had to get one more joke in… Just had to get one more laugh from the stupid crowd… Well look where that has got you now!
(RIPPER)
This isn’t funny Croc. You’re going too far. Let me out of here or else…
(Croc gets right up in Ripper’s face and scream at him)
(CROC)
OR ELSE WHAT? What are you going to do to me Ripper? You are f**ked and you know it. And you have no one else to blame but yourself. I warned you time and time again to stop running your stupid mouth but you didn’t listen. I was hoping 5 years of frustration would be unleashed at “Anything Goes” but I guess Christmas has come around again for me…
(Croc drops his voice to a real low depth)
(CROC)
And hell has just opened its gates for you!
(Croc lets out a very sadistic, evil laugh before looking at the permanent marker in his hand)
(CROC)
I am sure you saw what happened to Assassin’s little bi*ch when he ran his mouth too much…
(Croc grabs Ripper by the hair, pinning his head against the pole. Croc then takes the lid off the marker with his teeth, spitting the lid out onto the ground. Croc then draws a big “X” on Ripper’s chin. Ripper is helpless and Croc seems to be really enjoying the moment. Croc throws the marker away and takes a few steps back. He leans down, into the familiar strike position and laughs)
(CROC)
Where are all the jokes gone Ripper? Where are all the funnies gone? Why don’t you say something about my haircut or something about my sexuality? Huh?
(RIPPER)
Don’t do it Croc. You don’t want to do this!
(CROC)
Trust me… I have waited 5 years to do this
(With that Croc lands a vicious CrocKick on Ripper, landing flush on the chin. The impact of the kick, plus the impact of the back of Ripper’s head bouncing off the concrete pole, knocks him out Croc. Croc stands there laughing to himself. He lifts up Ripper’s head and yells at him)
(CROC)
WHERE’S THE JOKES GONE RIPPER? HUH? WHO IS LAUGHING NOW B*TCH!!!
(Croc steps back and hits another CrocKick, then another, then another. All the kicks land with ferocious force and a sickening sound echoes through the arena, which has gone eerily quiet as they watch this all unfold.)
(MTMT)
Enough is enough. Someone get some help out there for him!
(VENTURA)
This is hard to watch. Croc has snapped!
(Croc is laughing uncontrollably to himself. Ripper is out cold and in the midst of his uncontrollable laughter, Croc suddenly stops laughing and hits another 3 successive CrocKicks)
(MTMT)
God dammit, who is helping him?
(VENTURA)
Even I have to admit that this has gone way over the line. We need help out there… Please!!!
(Croc’s laughter is creepy and sickening. Croc looks down at his boot which has a bit of blood on it. He seems to get a rush from seeing the blood and hits another two CrocKick’s on the already knocked out Ripper)
(VENTURA)
He is trying to kill him!!!
(MTMT)
That’s it, I am going back there!
(The camera cuts quickly the announcers table and shows MTMT throwing off the headsets and running backstage. When the camera cuts back to Croc he is right up in Ripper’s face, holding his head up by his hair. Blood is pouring out of Ripper’s mouth)
(CROC)
I guess the funnies are all gone now hey Ripper? I guess nobody wants to a comedian who can’t speak? Well maybe next time you want to go out there and insult me… Insult the legendary Aussie Icon… Well I guess you can go and sign language the shit out of your next set of insults!
(Voices can be heard approaching quickly and Croc turns around and is swarmed by a number of AWA referees, officials and some lower card wrestlers. Croc is moved away from Ripper in the wave of physical assistance. MTMT is on the scene, as well as Anthony Jordan and Justin Voss who are trying to help Ripper and untie him. Voss is yelling out for someone to get a medic. In the background, the voice of Croc can be heard laughing his head off. Timothy Draven is on scene and looks flustered and is on his cellphone and it sounds like he is trying to organise an ambulance before getting on the phone to what sounds like his lawyers. The show goes to a commercial break with the sight of some of AWA’s finest trying to help Ripper)
