["The Aussie Icon" Croc]

(The show comes back from a commercial break and shows clips of the sickening attack on Ripper at the hands of Croc. At the end of the clip, there is exclusive, never before seen footage from AWA.com showing the paramedics treating Ripper and wheeling him away on a stretcher. The camera cuts back to MTMT and Ventura. Ventura is shaking his head, almost in disbelief)


(MTMT)
What happened a few nights ago was not pro-wrestling. Croc’s actions were criminal.

(VENTURA)
I have always been a fan of Croc, but even I have to condemn his actions. It was just not necessary.

(MTMT)
This is meant to be a re-union show. One last hurrah for the AWA. We are meant to be celebrating everything that was great about the AWA, and Croc is a big part of that. But everyone knows Croc has two sides and the side we saw a few nights ago is dangerous and illustrates everything why he is one of the most, if not the most hated man in our industry. He didn’t have to do that to Ripper.

(VENTURA)
I don’t know what made him snap so badly and violently. Even for Croc that was a new low.

(MTMT)
I will tell you what set him off… His ego. He can’t stand people making fun of him and Ripper has made a career out of making fun of Croc. If Timmy Draven had any balls he would ban Croc from the pay per view. We cannot tolerate that sort of behaviour.


(Suddenly the show cuts back to the backstage area and shows Croc walking into the backstage area from the car park.)


(MTMT)
I cannot believe that bastard has shown his face here tonight. Ripper is still in the hospital with rumour has it a broken jaw and most likely ruling him out of “Anything Goes”, and this bastard walks in here like nothing has happened.


(Croc is walking with a distinct swagger and his smug, cocky smirk is clear for everyone to see. The camera follows Croc as he passes through the hallways. As he passes AWA staff and wrestlers, they either turn their backs or shoot death stares at Croc. Croc does not seem phased one bit, in fact he appears to be enjoying the hate directed at him as he walks directly towards the entrance way. The camera shows Croc going up to the entrance curtain, however his music does not play. Croc looks back and the camera shows the AWA staff backing away from the sound stage, refusing to play Croc’s entrance music. Croc glares back at them, before taking a few steps towards them)


(CROC)
If I were you, I would hit the f**king button right now or else you will be joining him in hospital.


(Croc’s intimidating tactic work and the AWA staff member reluctantly hits a button and “Breakstuff” by Limp Bizkit blasts through the arena. The boos from the crowd are deafening as the Aussie Icon appears on the stage. Croc raises his hands, like he just won the title, before taking a sarcastic bow to the crowd. Croc seems to be lapping up the utter disgust thrown towards him from the crowd. Croc opens his jacket and further pisses the crowd off when he reveals he is wearing a “Ripper” merchandise t-shirt. Croc makes his way to the ramp and has to duck a few times as cans of drink and food are thrown at him. He rolls into the ring and orders to be handed a microphone. Just like the sound guy, the ring announcer is reluctant to assist Croc in anyway, but this time it just take a menacing glare from Croc and he is handed a microphone)


(MTMT)
I can’t stomach listening to this bastard. I am not going sit here and be forced to listen to his dribble and self love!


(The camera shows MTMT ripping off his headphones and storming off from the announcers table. This causes a big cheer from the crowd and MTMT has a few choice words to Croc as he passes the ring. Shortly after MTMT passes the ring, Ventura sighs and gets up and places his head set down before leaving the announcer’s booth. This also brings a cheer. Ventura walks off without looking at Croc. Croc smirks as he looks out at the crowd)


(CROC)
Ladies and gentlemen… YOU ARE WELCOME!!!


(Roaring boos from the crowd. Croc laughs to himself)


(CROC)
I am not one to gloat but I single handily saved the pay per view by “curing the virus”.


(Croc laughs)


(CROC)
You see Ripper was given an option… Shut his mouth and leave it until “Anything Goes” or else he would face the consequences… He chose to gamble with the latter and where is he now.


(Croc seems to get a kick out of the thought of where Ripper currently is)


(CROC)
Ripper is laid out on a hospital bed eating his dinner through a straw. I guess that expensive steak I sent him with the “Get Well Soon” card probably wasn’t the best idea…


(Croc leans up against the ropes)


(CROC)
Well Ripper, maybe if you suck hard enough, you might be able to get a little bit of the steak taste… And sucking hard comes naturally to you… I am pretty sure it is the title of you “Best of” DVD. But they have had to recall that DVD because they wanted to add another chapter, because me kicking your ass was without a doubt the highlight of your career!!!


(Extremely loud boos from the crowd)


(CROC)
But my purpose out here is not to make fun of Ripper… Well not entirely… My point here is to give all you moronic Ripper fans an update. Ripper is still in the hospital. I am sure it is a public hospital because Ripper would not be able to afford the luxury of private hospitals. But he has a shattered jaw and there is a massive boot print on his chin. That boot print is going to be permanently there, whether visible or not, and will act as a constant reminder for Ripper to shut his damn mouth and make him constantly think about what situation his big mouth caused. I gave him ample warning… I tried to help him out… But I guess there is no helping the retarded. No matter how much you say not to do it, the god damn retard is always going to do it!


(Croc smirks)


(CROC)
But what I am hearing from all the AWA fans is disappointment. Why? Not because they won’t see Ripper… No I am receiving a lot of love from kicking that guy to the kerb… No the fans are angry because they will not be able to see the legendary Aussie Icon at “Anything Goes”. Rest assured my loyal fans… Whilst the doctors are never going to medically clear Ripper for our match, I will make my way to the ring and demand my hand be raised as the winner by forfeit… That will then automatically put me into the main event for the AWA World Title… And seeing as though I will be fresh as a daisy, the book makers have installed me as the red hot favourite for the AWA World Title!


(Croc uses his hands to motion around his waist, as though he is outlining the World Title)


(CROC)
There was not a single man on the card who could have confidently said they were going to beat me in the main event, and that was before I walked into the main event via forfeit… With no prior match, I am all but a shoe-in for the win. Why? Because I am the Aussie Icon and there is no better than me!

[Gregory "Ripper" Kennedy]

:: As Croc finishes proclaiming his brilliance, and the crowd begin filling the arena with a chorus of boos the likes of which has never been heard before the lights cut and the titantron explodes in sparks as “Headstrong” begins to blare out of the PA system. The crowds boos instantly turn to huge unbridled cheers as Croc looks up at the entrance ramp, his face full of shock and disbelief as he mouths to himself “He can’t be here.” The camera spins around to the entrance ramp where sure enough the fans cheers are fulfilled when from the back sprints Ripper. He hurtles down to the ring and practically dives into the ring, not giving Croc a second to comprehend what is going on. Ripepr quickly gets to his feet and shoulder tackles Croc to the ground. Throwing lefts and rights he begins to whale away on the Aussie Icon. The fans lap it up as ripper pummels Croc who has pulled his hands up and curled to avoid the savage lashings from the six foot five madman. Ripper eventually stands to his feet, screams at the top of his voice and sheds the jacket he was wearing as Croc pulls himself up in a corner shaking his head from the beating he just got. Now that Ripper has slowed down it can be seen that indeed the left side of his face is horribly bruised and discoloured however, no jaw bracing seems to be in place. Ripper moves over to Croc in the corner looking to continue the beating however being the experience wrestler he is Croc knows what is coming and as Ripper goes to grab Croc punches Ripper in the face. Ripper grabs his jaw in obvious pain and takes a few steps back. Croc’s face drops to one of deviousness and turns side on to Ripper waiting for him to turn back round. For anyone who has watched Croc it is obvious he is waiting to land another Crockick on Ripper’s already injured jaw. Indeed as Ripper turns back around Croc pumps his leg sideways and lifts it up aiming straight for the jaw. However, the usual sound of boot on skin is not heard. Ripper has managed to catch Croc’s foot. Croc seems shocked as usually the kick is so fast and unexpected most people can’t defend against it. Ripper snarls and quickly twists Croc around dropping him to the mat. Keeping a hold of the ankle Ripper twists and locks Croc in a very simple anklelock. Croc screams in pain and pushes up from the mat obviously going to try and roll through. However, that is stopped as Ripper drops on knee on the inside of Croc’s knee pressing his knee to the mat. Ripper then places Croc’s ankle between his legs using his outside leg to keep the ankle trapped. Reaching forward Ripper then punches croc in the middle of the spine causing Croc to go limp for just a second. That second is long enough for Ripper, using his long reach to grab Croc’s head and place him into the Virus Clutch somewhat combining a STF and his finishing manoeuvre. Unfortunately for Ripper this is short lived. As he perpetuated his attack in the middle of the ring it is a bit easier for security and the ring crew to find the two wrestlers and soon the ring is full of people trying to pull the obviously enraged Ripper away from Croc. Ripper is eventually pulled off as the sixth person tries. The ring crew push Ripper into the corner and attempt to calm him, no one really caring to check on Croc to see if he is ok. Holding his hands up Ripper tells the ring crew that he has calmed down, only for the moment that they have let their guard down to charge forward and deliver a huge kick straight to the stomach of Croc. Doubling up Croc can be heard wheezing in pain as the kick sends him rolling out of the ring and onto the floor near the ramp. Ripper smiles and then grimaces grabbing the side of his face that is horribly bruised. The ring crew line up at the side of the ring next to the entrance ramp between Croc and Ripper as Ripper reaches down to pick up the microphone which Croc dropped. ::

Gregory “Ripper” Kennedy: “You want to try and break my jaw! You want to try and stop me from talking! How do you feel now Croc?”
:: The fans explode with cheers as Ripper rubs his jaw. With every word Ripper is obviously fighting through pain to speak. ::

Gregory “Ripper” Kennedy: “ Fine I get it you’re an asshole but I always knew that but here I thought that you had your limits. Everything else you’ve done was great it was a great act but I’m telling you something Andy. What you did goes far beyond anything else we have ever done. All this…

:: Ripper motions around to the fans and all the equipment at ringside::

Gregory “Ripper” Kennedy: “the lights, the cameras, the pyrotechnics, the bookings. All of that had nothing to do to what you tried to do to me. What you tried to do to me was criminal. Not an act. Not a plot. Not some kind of professional wrestling feud. What you did was sociopathic.”

:: The fans seem shocked and confused by Rippers demolition of the fourth wall:

Gregory “Ripper” Kennedy: “But hey I can deal with that. I can deal with the fact you tried to cripple me for life. Do you want to know why I can deal with it? I can deal with it because at Anything Goes you are going to be forced by contract to meet me, in this ring and I will beat seven shades of holy shit out of you. You think a fractured jawline is going to stop me? You think one broken bone will stop me? Did you forget who you were dealing with Croc? Did you forget that I am the hardcore madman? I spent most of my career fighting while injured. There were days when I felt worse than Kevin Nash and I still came out put on a match and walked out of here.”

:: Croc has managed to pull himself to his feet, obviously favouring his right ankle. He takes solace and leans on the guard rail, staring daggers at Ripper who is berating him from the centre of the ring::

Gregory “Ripper” Kennedy: “I told you before you did this that I am an honest man. I am a line stepper, an authority figures nightmare. I am a man who stands up for what he believes in. I told you that whatever you did wouldn’t shut me up and this is just proof of that. This is proof that Gregory Kennedy cannot be silenced. I have made a career out of staring down the barrel of insurmountable odds over and over and over and I always come out on top. Sure I may not have been a champion. Sure I may not have a gold studded career but what I do have is people who will remember me. I will be remembered and adored for years to come. I will be remembered as one of the best entertainers this industry has ever had and that is something no one can take away from me.”

:: The fans explode with cheers as Ripper nods his head::

Gregory “Ripper” Kennedy: “You see Croc you may have to adorn your house with trophies and replicas of titles you have won but me… I have friends. I have people who will stand by me and memories of the good time I spent with them. And after this weekend, after Against all odds I will add a new memory to that one. It will be the memory of how at the final show of AWA I shut the Aussie Icon up and made him just another memory in the annals of time.”
