I discussed this with AJ about a month or so ago, I'm gauging interest to see if anyone would be interested in taking part in a Royal Rumble gambling pool. It'd work like this
For $5 you get (30/people in pool) numbers. Person with the Rumble winner gets 60% of the pool, person with the second place gets 30%, and person with the third place finisher gets 10%. If you have multiple winners, you get your highest finisher and it moves down to the next player. (So if you get 1st and 3rd, you win the 1st place, and the person with the fourth place finish wins 3rd) This continues until there are three unique winners.
Who's interested in this? We'd handle the money through PayPal, and I don't assume anyone would trust sending me $5 for no reason other than that you all might trust someone else more, so I don't have any problem funneling the pay in and payouts through someone else who would volunteer. (*cough* AJ *cough*)
Remember, you get assigned numbers, not wrestlers. So you don't know your chances of winning until that person comes out. Who's interested? We need at least five or six people. The more people, the bigger the pot and the more money available to win. I'd open this to non-AWA guys- friends of friends- as well, if no one has a problem with that.
