An Idea for the future (Jonas)

:: The camera opens up on the AWA house show. Johnny London is holding his own against some local jobber. Johnny grabs the jobber and his an impressive northern lights suplex. All of a sudden Switchback v.5 begins to play skipping the usual pre-requisites of the build up video. Almost instantly Ripper walks out from the back and makes a bee line for the ring ignoring the fans who are cheering for the hardcore madman. ::

MTMT: “Ripper does not seem best pleased. This is the first we’ve seen of him since Anarchy and rumour has it he was not best pleased with that result.”

Jesse Ventura: “What’s not to like? He was beaten by the fantastic force that is ‘The Ego.’”

MTMT: “Well some people would disagree with that but let’s see what Ripper has to say.”

:: Ripper reaches the ring and slides in as the match continues. The local kid doesn’t seem to impressed to be interrupted in what could be his breakthrough match. Ripper doesn’t take note of what the kid has to say and delivers a swift kick to the gut followed by him promptly being tossed out the ring. As Ripper is looking down at the jobber Johnny London comes up behind Ripper and spins him round. He begins shouting at Ripper for interrupting his match. Ripper rolls his eyes at Johnny before kicking him in the gut and stuffing him into the powerbomb position. Ripper quickly roles London up and proceeds to perform a vicious Choke-Bomb over the top rope onto the Jobber who was starting to recover. ::

MTMT: “Ripper with a vicious Choke-Bomb on Johnny London. Ripper must really be pissed off. This is not like him at all. “

Jesse: “I’m starting to like him. “

:: The fans don’t seem to appreciate that and begin to boo loudly at Ripper. Ripper doesn’t seem to interested and simply gets on the mic::

Ripper: “This Monday past I was screwed. I was screwed out of my World Heayweight Title. Now I’m not out here to blame Anthony Jordan. For once this was not his fault. No, this travesty lies squarely with one single person. Play the tape.”

:: Ripper motions towards the titantron as a tape from last Monday’s Anarchy begins to play. The scene opens up nearing the end of the Battle Royale. Only Ripper, Nicholas Jacob Draven, Micheal Windsor and Anthony Jordan are left. Ripper is resting in a corner as MJW is beating on NJD. MJW then shout to Khris Heaven as Ripper steps out of the corner and into the centre of the ring ropes. Khris Heaven is waiting at the centre as well. MJW throws NJD towards the rope. As NJD reaches Ripper he jumps up going for a cross body block. Ripper catches him and stumbles backwards. Just before he hits the back ropes Khris Heaven jumps up and pulls down the top rope causing Ripper and NJD to go plummeting over. The camera switches back to Ripper in the ring who is nodding as if he has just explained everything with that bit of video ::

MTMT: “I still don’t get it. Who is Ripper blaming for this?”

Ripper: “Khris Heaven. MJW. We’re meant to be on the same side. That’s not something I’m happy about but it is the way it is. However, you screwed me out of my World Heayweight Title. “

:: The fans cheer as Ripper blames Khris Heaven and MJW. ::

Ripper: “I am less than impressed. That was my match to win. My time to shine. My time to be the champion. “

Jesse: “Me, me, me. MJW is the champion and that’s the way it is.”

Ripper: “So afterwords needless to say I was pissed off. I spent a lot of time thinking. Thinking of a way I could get another chance at the title. A match that no one could refuse. Something that could solve this Co-Champion problem...and let me get my revenge on Khris Heaven and MJW. You see this is what I want to propose to you right now. I want to propose my match. I know Jonas Lee is backstage. I know he is listening. The match I propose. At the next Pay Per View. “The Virus” Ripper. Will face Khris Heaven, MJW...and Anthony Jordan.”

:: The fans explode with cheers at the idea of the match::

MTMT: “Usually handicap matches are used as a punishment. Ripper is actively promoting one. “

Ripper: “You see. That is good match making right there. Then again Jonas I’ll give it to you. You are a fair General Manager. You may not find that match fair. In that case take Anthony Jordan out. I have no problem with him. Only the title around his waist but that is business. And he knows that.

:: Ripper lowers the mic and looks towards the entrance ramp waiting for 99 Problems to begin playing ::

..::From the back, the GM comes walking out. No music. No limo. No fireworks. No fire. Just Jonas Lee and a microphone. He stands on the stage and looks down toward the ring where The Virus Ripper is standing::..

Dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyum homie. I'm in the back, and I hear my name being dropped, so of course, I listened..and Ripper, I need to admit..your idea is a good one. The Virus Ripper vs. MJ Windsor and Khris Heaven..think about how many tickets that would sell. It's something to think about homie..and for the rest of the week, I will do so. At Anarchy, I will let you know my answer. Either way, I'll see you at Anarchy.


..::As Jonas Lee starts to leave::..

but he stops in his tracks, knowingly nodding as the Co-Undisputed Champion, "The EGO" MJ Windsor walks out, like Jonas, he does so without music and pyros, it is clear why he is out on the stage.

Following seconds later is Khris Heaven, she has the AWA Undisputed-Disputed Championship on her shoulder.

The pair stop a few feet away from the GM, MJ has a mic in hand and is yet to look down to the ring

I am fully aware of your ability to make shit matches, i am fully aware of your inability to run a successful TV show, let alone a PPV...

...but i am willing to give you a chance on this one because Jonas, before you go making any fucked up choices about who is fighting who and what titles are on the line, im going to give you some advise...

...but first, i got some words for 'chunk' in the ring right there...


MJ now turns his head and looks directly down to the ring, Rippers interest has peaked as he leans up against the ropes heading towards the ramp

Ripper paces the ropes, working off the frustration without rushing the stage and brawling with the co-champ.

Khris Heaven is not signed to an 'active' AWA roster contract...

...she works for me, i employ her and i pay her wages...and im pretty sure she gets more than you do Jonas...

...anyway, point being, Khris Heaven wrestles when and if she agrees to, otherwise you can book her to compete all she likes, she just will not show...

...and seeing as you Ripper, can lay no claim to the grandest prize in the business today, i do not see how come you think your in line for a shot...

...so Jonas, i know you hate me and believe me when i say the feeling is returned right back at ya...

...but listen, you need to get the house in order, you need to make these wannabes work for their treats...

...facing me, facing Anthony, thats a career making chance...like i said, it is a treat!

If Ripper wants a shot, if Draven wants a shot...hell if Jonny fucking London wants a shot...

...put the sons of bitches in a match and see who wants it the most...

...as for, as for Anthony, we will defend OUR championship like the greatest athletes we are, but only to the deserving...

...under contract this belt only has to be put up once every 30 days, it was on the line last week so unless i can guarentee if you make any bullshit matches before the 30 days are up, the Connection will no-show and you will be left with a riot on your chubby little hands...

...yuo make the match worth showing up for, worth winning...and the Connection will make you a very, very successful 'booker'...

...i can not say fairer than that considering i hate your guts!

You know what homie, im going to let all the comments slide for now because i am here for one reason, and that is business. Im man enough to admit when you might be onto something.

The AWA Championship is the biggest belt in the business and it needs to be treated as such, so we need a deserving contender and that is why your Chosen GM is going to make a match for Anarcy, not this coming week, but for July 20th.


..::Lee now turns so he is also eyeing up Ripper::..

..::the fans pop like mad, they love it. MJ is pretty happy also, and Ripper is already planning how he is going to win, and hurt his opponents::..

But thats not all, no no. You see the winner will go onto the PPV on August 2nd, to face both MJ Windsor and Anthony Jordan, but for the Connection to win, both members have to pin the challenger, but for the challenger to win, they only have to pin 1 member of the Connection!

Now peeps, thats all, i hope you homies understood because now the Chosen GM has told ya, you can take it to the bank!


..::Lee lowers the mic, looking extremely happy with himself. MJs attitude has slightly change as Ripper looks on at the man he may well face and beat for the world title::..

*MJ Windsor, Jonas Lee, Ripper and the fans all look around in shock as Semisonic's "Closing Time" starts to play.*

MTMT: "I haven't heard that song in ten years."

Ventura: "MJ Windsor just closed the arena with that great promo! That's what it means!"

MTMT: "But Jonas Lee got to speak after him."

Ventura: "Then Lee's bad promo closed the arena! Damn, Tassell, try to figure this out on your own."

*The fans cheer loudly as the other co-Undisputed World Champion walks out. "Closing Time" cuts off as Jordan pulls a microphone out of his khakis' pocket. Since it is his turn to talk, he walks over to Khris Heaven and grabs the Undisputed World Title to wear over his shoulder. He goes to yank it away, but Heaven's grip is stronger and Jordan's arm recoils back without the belt. He looks around after being bested by a woman and raises his microphone.*

Jordan: "Looks better on you, anyway."

*The fans laugh as "The Role Model" dusts off his Connection T-shirt.*

Jordan: "I bet you were wondering why I, being the first person on this stage to walk out to music, chose that nineties' classic. Well, not only I am a huge alternative rock fan, but I am a fan of metaphors. 'Closing Time' is about closing time. It fits because Jonas Lee just closed the AWA down!"

*The fans give a mixed reaction as does everyone else.*

Jordan: "By allowing the Connection to defend the title at full strength, he has basically told every wrestler in the world to pack up and head elsewhere, if he wants an Undisputed World Title. Dang, Lee, you could have given them the allusion of hope by letting them have a one-on-one match with one of us. There are wrestlers out there dumb enough out there to think they have a chance against MJ Windsor or myself, but NO ONE believes he can take down both of us!"

*The fans cheer as Jordan gives his goofy grin. He turns and shares a forearm bash with Windsor.*

MTMT: "Good point. Even if the Connection has to pin the same man twice, how does anyone get past a duo this talented?"

Ventura: "They don't."

*Jordan turns to the ring.*

Jordan: "Hate to burst your bubble, Greg, but that goes for you, too. You might have beaten MJ once or twice, and you believe you beat me, even though no video evidence exists of it,"

MTMT: "'Cause he bought and burnt it when BWA closed."

Jordan: "But you are not going to beat both of us. I direct this at you because you are head and shoulders above O'Shea and Draven Lite. I know you are going to destroy them. That is a done deal in my book."

*The fans give a mixed reaction as Jordan shrugs.*

Jordan: "But I will make a deal with me. After you win the match and the title shot, if you agree not to waste all of our time, I will..."

*Jordan inhales deeply and bites his knuckle.*

Jordan: "I will..."

*Jordan turns away and stomps on the stage.*

MTMT: "This must be one hell of a deal."

*Jordan turns back and raises the microphone.*

Jordan: "I will let you have your picture taken with the Undisputed World Title."

*The fans give another mixed reaction as Jordan looks up and shakes his head. MJ Windsor can't believe what he's hearing as Jordan turns back and holds his arms out. What will Ripper say?*
