Public Enemy

So, I went with the wifey to see Public Enemy with Johnny Depp.

All I can say is....WOW



How did I manage to actually pay for the only Depp movie I don't like?!

The characters had NO depth. There was no real story behind it. There was nothing to catch you and pull you into it.

What was it about? Was it about the formation of the FBI? Was it about them trying to catch Dillinger? Was it about Dillinger himself? Was it about all three?

Not to mention, the cinematography was very crappy. There were A LOT of scenes where I felt I was watching some B movie that they put on the bottom shelf of the video stores.


It was cool watching him break out of the prisons. It was cool watching the bank robberies but....most of the movie was not that good. Can Johnny Depp not play normal people?

All in all, I give it a C, at best.

If you want to see it, wait and rent it or get it on PPV...Don't spend $10 on the ticket
