:: The cameras spin round the AWA arena to show the legions of cheering fans all of which are excited with anticipation at the coming AWA pay per view. The camera changes to a shot of the announcers Jesse Ventura and Matt Tassel. ::
Matt Tassel: “Ladies and Gentlemen. We are days away from our hotly anticipated pay per view. Disconnected is this Sunday and we have some great matches on the card.”
Jesse Ventura: “That’s right Matt. To start the show we have newly reformed Kevin Kash going on one again the big man, the Enforcer.
:: As the two announcers begin to talk about the matches on the pay-per view the pre-made cinematic shows for each of them. ::
Matt Tassel: “After that Conner O’Shea will finally get his hands on Marquis de Sade in a revolution table match. In this match two tables must be broken before a winner is declared.”
:: Again another cinematic plays showing Conner O’Shea and Marquis de Sade in front of a pair of crossed tables. ::
Jesse Ventura: “Then we have our main event Matt and it promises to be a big one. Our co-champions The Connection will face the number one contender Ripper in a two on one handicap match.”
Matt Tassel: “With a difference. For The connection to win both of them must pin Ripper. However, for Ripper to win he needs only to pin one of the AWA Champions.”
Jesse Ventura: “And as if that wasn’t enough for that match not only with Nicholas Jacob Draven be the Special Guest Referee, the brothers of destruction-the Undertaker and Kane-will be special guest enforcers. “
:: The cinematic this time is a lot more busy than the previous one. Ripper appears on one side with the two members of the connection on the others. In the background at the middle is NJD and then to either side behind him is the Undertaker and Kane. The world championship can be seen in what little background space there is.::
Matt Tassel: “It should be one hell of a match. A month back and Ripper has clawed his way back up to the title scene by defeating Nicholas Draven. “
Jesse Ventura: “You gotta wonder if that will affect Draven’s ability to call this match down the middle.”
Matt Tassel: “But then again you also have Draven’s hatred of his brother.”
:: As the two commentators continue to discuss the implications of the main event match and all the way that the friendships and hatreds between all the people involved could play out the lights dim. The quiet build up of Ripper entrance music begins along with the usual images on the titantron. As the music reaches its break the titantron explodes along with a loud shout of “I’M RIPPER!” The music hits it off and begins to properly play as the man himself walks out onto the stage. He raises his arm in the air and begins to walk down to the ring. Ripper is accompanied by his new personal assistant Scorpion. Wearing a white suit Scorpion is a good contrast to Ripper near all black clothing. He is wearing an open shirt over a “Ripper” t-Shirt along with a pair of black jeans. Ripper short hair is spiked in disarray. ::
Matt Tassel: “And here comes the man who people are still unsure about.”
Jesse Ventura: “I dislike him.”
Matt Tassel: “Why?”
Jesse Ventura: “Well I don’t know whether to like or hate him so I’m going with my usual idea. I used to hate him, so I will continue to hate him.”
Matt Tassel: “As good a logic as we have ever expected from you.”
:: Ripper and Scorpion begin their walk to the ring. The two seem to be chatting to each other as they slap hands with the fans reaching over to touch them. Although most of the fans are likely reaching for Ripper they mostly seems happy getting the hardcore legends apprentice. Once they reach the ring Ripper rolls in under the bottom rope as Scorpion climbs up the ring stairs and ducks under the top rope joining Ripper-who has already managed to retrieve a microphone for himself-in the centre of the ring. The music tapers off and Ripper is left to the sound of a mostly silent crowd. A small group can be heard cheering and chanting his name. ::
Ripper: “Now it occurs to me that this Sunday I am walking out and stepping in this ring with not only Michael John Windsor and Anthony Jordan but now also Nicholas Jacob Draven.
:: A huge cheer goes up for Draven as Ripper name checks the referee to be. ::
Jesse Ventura: “These fans know nothing. They should have cheered a while ago. For MJ.”
Matt Tassel: “The fans love Nicholas Draven. There is no doubting that.”
Ripper: “Not only that but I will have the brothers of destruction Undertaker and Kane running around the ring making sure no one interferes and I have one thing to say to that.”
:: Ripper lowers the mic and pauses for dramatic effect.::
Ripper: “Good. If there is one thing I have learned it is don’t trust the connection. Or to be more specific. Don’t trust Michael John Windsor.”
:: Once again the fans explode with cheers at Rippers words. ::
Jesse Ventura: “Pandering. That’s all he’s doing.”
Ripper: “MJ has been scared of me since I returned because he knew one thing. He knew that he can’t beat me. MJW cannot beat Ripper. He knew that as soon as I got a chance that world title would be mine. That’s why he had that Psychobitch Khris Heaven screw me out of the ladder match. That is why he tried to get Anthony Jordan to convince me to give up this match and that is why over the past few weeks he has been trying to mess with my head on Anarchy. I will take great pride in pinning MJ this Sunday. Or Anthony Jordan if I have to.”
:: The fans don’t seem as appreciative of this comment as they have about the MJ bashing.::
Ripper: “Don’t get me wrong. I respect Anthony Jordan, even if I want to hit him sometimes for unknown reasons.”
:: A small laugh goes out and around the fans at Ripper comment about his and AJ’s shenanigans. ::
Ripper: “But that doesn’t mean that I won’t pin him should the chance come. It’s business. Isn’t that right?”
:: Ripper looks to Scorpion for justification and Scorpion just nods. Whether this is because he believes what Ripper says or is simply nodding for the hell of it who knows.::
Ripper: “Now it occurs to me I may skipped over a new addition to this match. Draven. Now, I don’t know what hes playing at adding himself into the match I can tell you I was shocked as much as you. The fact of the matter is I want him to call it right down the middle. I don’t want MJ to be able to go on about how he never lost. Or how he was screwed out of the title. I want to beat him fair and square. That is all I am asking from Nicholas Draven. Outside of that he can do what he wants. To ensure that this match will run correctly, I have hired my own ring side enforcer who will make sure that the match goes down the way I want it to. He will make sure that no one does anything outside of the rules. Scorpion will be standing in my corner for the whole match.”
