( The camera scrolls around the AWA arena. The arena is jam packed with screaming fans. The titantron suddenly comes to life, and the fans are in shock. )
( As the guitar chords scream through the arena, the fans jump to their feet. Could it really be? Could Bret "The Hitman" Hart really be in the AWA? The fans are going wild with cheers, mostly due to excitement. The curtain opens, and the cheers quiet down. Standing there on the stage is definitely not Bret Hart. The titantron begins to flash this picture on it--- )
( The fans are no longer going wild with cheers. This young superstar does not look like the "overly friendly" type. He isn't frowning, but he isn't smiling at the fans either. He heads directly to the ring. On his way to the ring, he doesn't slap hands with fans. He doesn't even really look at them. He just walks to the ring, as if he is on a mission. He climbs up the ring steps and climbs under the top rope. He walks over to the side of the ring and takes a microphone from the ring announcer. )
BLADE HART:
"August 4th, 2009. Remember this day. Remember this day as the day the AWA changed forever. You all look confused. Let me explain. As of today, the AWA will never be the same again. Let me introduce myself to you. My name is "The Submission Expert", "The Canadian Kid", my name is Blade Hart. Yes, I said Hart. I am the youngest child of the greatest wrestler to ever step foot inside a wrestling ring, I am the son of Bret "The Hitman" Hart. "
( Being the son of a legend like Bret Hart doesn't hurt. There are a lot of cheers for the hall of famer, Bret Hart. )
BLADE HART:
Let me explain a few things to you people. First things first. I may be the son of Bret Hart, but I refuse to let the success of my father, help get me to the top, unlike others in this business.
( This statement does not sit well with the AWA fans. Was Blade Hart taking a cheap shot at Nicholas Jacob Draven? )
BLADE HART:
My plan in the AWA is very simple. I plan on working my way up the ladder, just like everyone should. I plan on starting at the very bottom, and I plan on going through each and every AWA superstar. You see, I have something very special that all these other wrestlers do not have. I have been trained by "The Hart Family", INSIDE THE LEGENDARY DUNGEON!
( Talking about the dungeon automatically gets an applause from the fans. Everyone respects what the dungeon is all about. Some of the greatest wrestlers in the world have come through there. )
BLADE HART:
I've been training for this moment since I was 4 years old. You think I'm joking? Trust me, I am not. At the age of 4, my father, Bret Hart, my uncle, Owen Hart, and my grandfather, the great Stu Hart started training me. Over the last 15 years, I have gone through some of the most intensive training there is. I've learned more in the past 15 years about professional wrestling than most people learn in their entire life. I've been beaten down until I could barely move, and when I thought the training was over, my father would kick my ass all over again. 15 years, I've trained for this, and last month, I turned 19 years old, and my father told me it was time for me to start my career. Immediately, I was offered a contract with the WWE. Vince McMahon wanted me to join the other Hart Dynasty members, but I decided against it. I did not want to be successful because of them. I wanted to come some place where I could build a name for myself. I wanted to come some place where I could take on some of the greats. I wanted to come to the AWA.
( This comment gets a good amount of cheers from the AWA fans. )
BLADE HART:
So I made a phone call to Timothy Draven. I asked him to give me a shot. I didn't want any special treatment because my father was a legend in the business. I wanted to come into the company as a brand new wrestler. I didn't want any special amount of money. I wanted a contract, a chance. I'm pleased to say that the CEO of the AWA, Timothy Draven told me he would give me a shot. He told me he'd give me a contract for six months. If I can made a name for myself, he told me he would offer me a real, long term contract. So, as of this morning, I am the newest AWA superstar.
( There are quite a few cheers for this. Blade still has a stone cold face on his. He seems to be very serious. )
BLADE HART:
Understand this. I take this chance of a lifetime very serious. I'm not here to be cheered by you fans. I'm not here to make more money than some of the other guys in the back. I'm not here to score with the AWA ladies, and I'm sure as hell not here to make any friends. I'm here to compete. I'm here to climb up the ladder, and I'm here to be the very best. I don't care what it takes, I will do whatever is needed to be the very best this company has ever seen. So General Manager Jonas Lee, I'm out here tonight to ask for a match at Anarchy. I'm out here to ask for a chance to show the guys in the back what I'm made of.
( Again, the fans cheer Blade. He raises his right arm for a moment. )
BLADE HART:
Don't cheer me. As I stated, I am not here to be cheered. I'm here to make a name for myself. I'm here to be the very best. So all you guys in the back, I'm out here. I'm inside this ring, and I'm giving you all a warning right now. Blade Hart is now a part of the AWA, and eventually, we will get in the ring together. When we do, I will make you submit!
( Blade Hart is suddenly cut off by--- )
