Bryan fucking Danielson has signed a contract with the WWE. I'm pumped. I'm sure he'll be on ECW to start, but I'd love to see him go to Smackdown. Danielson is awesome. I hope the WWE uses him well.

yes he is awesome. maybe, maybe they are considering giving him some time to develop like they have with Punk. Either that or they will give him 2 dark matches and if the crowd are not chanting his name by the middle of the second match they will cut the contract.

"I hope the WWE uses him well" = a pipe-dream I'm afraid.

"I hope the WWE uses him well" = a pipe-dream I'm afraid. The list of indy stars they used right is smaller than the ones they have fucked up.

I agree....but, Danielson has a huge fan base, in a way, like CM Punk did. Vince saw that and has turned CM Punk into a huge star.......and if you remember, John Cena used to be a pretty big OVW star, and Vince hasn't stopped shoving him down our throats since. I have faith that Danielson has enough fans that will chant his name, that Vince will keep him around and help build him up on ECW.

In that same vein, RVD's following helped him be one of the few from the Invasion who got work.

^ true, and seeing how well C-Man did in TNA, he's now the ECW Champion (which doesn't say a lot), but, he's definitely like the TNA Christian now, not the WWE Christian. I enjoy him a lot more. The only problem is that he's stuck on ECW. He should be on Smackdown where he could win the world championship. He deserves it!

Christian vs Punk could rule!

personally, i think that C-Man would be in the same position in the WWE with or without TNA.
Christian was always going to be a top clas mid card talent, and ECW champ, that is what he is currently seen as. Sure he main events ECW TV...but come on, thats not overly impressive. Not 1 PPV headline, not 1 PPV main story.
If anything, C-Man being over on TNA has currently hindered his WWE career.
Hopefully, with time that will change.

Being popular with OVW was different to being popular with, say, TNA, ROH, CZW, etc. Back when Cena was with the OVW, it was a WWE feeder. It would be more difficult to get that foot in the door if you're working in a promotion with no WWE affiliation.
