Reconnecting (MJ, Croc, Ripper)

[Anthony Jordan]

*The fans leap to their feet and cheer as Pearl Jam's "Even Flow" hits. A few seconds later "The Role Model" struts out onto the stage decked out in a classic USCW "Role Model" T-shirt and a pair of khakis. He looks confident, yet not all that happy despite being adored by the crowd.*

MTMT: "And out of everyone vying for the Undisputed World Title, this man has the most legit claim despite everyone getting a shot at the PPV. Ripper never pinned him for the title and failed to defeat him in a rematch."

Ventura: "Well, if he keeps up his hard line against MJ Windsor, he will soon become irrelevant in the title chase. The Connection built him up better than what he really was. If he is dumb enough to go at it on his own, he will surely fail."

MTMT: "That remains to be seen. As for the Connection, there has been no official word on them. They are set to team up this Monday, and that match is final."

*Jordan idly slaps hands with a few lucky fans before reaching ringside. He hops up the stairs and enters the ring as he paces around the ring and approaches Miss Taylor, who hands over her microphone. Not really caring for much fanfare, Jordan calls for his music to be cut. Once "Even Flow" dies down, Jordan raises his microphone.*

Jordan: "I have grudgingly accepted that this is not a dream and that Ripper is the Undisputed World Champion."

*The crowd explodes with cheers as Jordan frowns.*

Jordan: "But do not let it go unsaid that he never pinned me for the title and was one good, fair, and unbiased referee away from losing it back to me at Grudgement Day."

*The fans give a mixed reaction as Jordan continues on.*

Jordan: "Greg, some naive and, let us face it, stupid fans might actually buy into the whole 'you have the belt, so you are better than I am' logic that you are spewing, but anyone with sense knows that simply is not true."

*Another mixed reaction goes up as the boos cause Jordan to give a faint goofy grin.*

Jordan: "I am a quadruple Undisputed World Champion. I have won titles in more federations than you have won titles period. I am in three halls of fame and soon to be four once the AWA decides to make one. My accomplishments are numerous and undebatably superior to any you can muster up. We might be allies, but I am the superior being. You are a joke. You are a comedian who got lucky, but you do deserve to enjoy that luck."

*Another mixed reaction goes up as Jordan pauses.*

Ventura: "Now this is an attitude I can support!"

MTMT: "Deep down, he might respect, possibly like Ripper, but his pride is too damaged to make any of that apparent."

Ventura: "You'd feel the same way if Ripper took your title."

*Jordan shakes his head and lifts his microphone up.*

Jordan: "Oh, I forgot. The title left my hands because Ripper happened to win the weak and pathetic member of the Connection: MJ Windsor."

*The fans explode with cheers for the insult at Windsor as Jordan just looks sour at even mentioning his name.*

Jordan: "MJ Windsor is a midcard champion who only won the big one after I got in his corner, so Dis-Connected boiled down to two midcard champions duking it out for the Undisputed World Championship and the better midcard champion won."

*The fans cheer again in support of tearing down MJ Windsor.*

MTMT: "Wow, claiming Ripper is the superior Brit. You know that doesn't sit well with MJ Windsor."

Ventura: "Jordan's crossing the Rubicon. He better watch his back now."

Jordan: "I am stuck carrying MJ Windsor at Anarchy this week, but Jonas Lee and Timmy Draven better listen up because I do not intend to do it again. I will not team with Windsor again, so do not waste your time booking another match with us!"

*The fans roar again as Jordan smirks.*

Jordan: "But that does leave me down a partner in crime. Honestly, Team USCW would be cool, but it cannot happen as long as Ripper has the belt padlocked around his waist, so that idea is nixed."

*The fans boo as Jordan disregards their feelings.*

Jordan: "There is always NJD and D-Connection-X..."

*The fans cut Jordan off with massive cheers. Jordan chuckles and shakes his head.*

Jordan: "But I doubt daddy will let him come out and play."

*The fans boo with disappointment.*

Jordan: "However, there is a man who is worthy to team with me. He could help me build a better, faster, stronger Connection. That man is 'The Aussie Icon, Croc!"

*The fans explode at the idea of Jordan and Croc as a team.*

Jordan: "Croc, I know you blame me for some bad circumstances, but since I am cutting myself free from the career anchor that is MJ Windsor, maybe now you can believe me. Three years ago, we got it all wrong. We thought we could carry Sheldon Reese in Elite Establishment, but he was done. That is why the group failed. However, you and I are still in our primes...heck, I might not have even reached mine, yet!"

*Jordan gives his goofy grin.*

Jordan: "You are the only man here worthy to stand by my side, so why not come out here and make it official?"

*Jordan and the fans turn to the ramp. Does Croc come out or is it someone else?*

the AWA fans would literally cream themselves if Breakstuff hit and the Aussie Icon walked out ready to join in partnership with The Role Model.

But that is not going to happen, not at this minute anyway as instead it is BIG EGO that hits.

The fans erupt with boos as The EGO MJ Windsor steps out onto the stage, smartly dressed in a suit and open collored shirt he stands, paused for a moment. He looks around to the fans with a scowl and then down to the ring, MJ simply shakes his head and then begins to walk to the ring

Don't even say it Matt, just don't! This is serious, the rightful World champion has had to listen to a man that he took under his wing, a man that he allowed into his spotlight, stand in the ring and run him down! MJ will not let this stand, no way no how! If Jordan thinks he put the boot to the Connection, he is mistaken, i bet MJ is going to rip him apart!


in the ring, AJ does not look overly suprised to see his 'team mate' heading down to confront him, in fact AJ probably knew it would happen. He takes a couple steps back, leaving plenty of room for MJ Windsor to take his spot.
MJ gets to ringside, grabs a mic and climbs the steps. Once in the ring he waits a few seconds for the music to cut and then lifts the mic to deliver his words

So it is true!

I thought that maybe you was having a bad day, i thought that maybe you had gotten some shit news, i thought that maybe you was taking your problems out on me because i was the closet thing you had to a fucking family around here!..

AJ goes to lift his mic but in a daring act MJ uses his free hand to smack it away...it tumbles to the canvas as the fans wait to see what is going to happen. and the answer at this stage is nothing, AJ looks down to the mic and then back to MJ as he continues to speak

:: As MJW and AJ are staring each other down the fans begin to cheer. AJ and MJW both look around confused at why the fans have finally perked up. AJ eventually points up the entrance ramp and MJW turns cautiously to look. At the top of the ramp a reclining chair has suddenly appeared. MJW and AJ both look at each other and mouth “The hell” the two seeming to have put their differences aside in the confusion of the appearing chair. ::

Matt Tassel: “Did you see that chair appear?”

Jesse Ventura: “No I was too busy watching the awesome MJW and that other guy.”

Matt Tassel: “A week ago you were praising Anthony Jordan.”

Jesse Ventura: “Times change Matt. I think were away to find the answer to who did it and why am I not surprised.”

:: The camera indeed does show who has placed the chair out on the stage as the AWA World Heavyweight Champion walks out on stage. He has the title padlocked round his waist and chains holding it onto his trousers. Ripper is carrying a bag of popcorn and a microphone. Ripper takes a seat in the reclining chair and sits back. He raises the mic to his mouth after taking a handful of popcorn. ::

Ripper: “Sorry about the lack of entrance music I was trying not to draw attention away for this spectacle going on in the middle of the ring. I mean I’ve heard of lovers quarrels but this is fantastic.”

:: The fans can be heard chuckling and some cheer as MJW and AJ just look at each other with a look of disgust on their faces. ::

Ripper: “I mean you two should go on Springer or something they might be able to solve whatever problems you are having. Then again some of the garbage you two are spouting is pretty fantastic.”

:: Ripper takes another handful of his popcorn and eats it before continuing on. ::

Ripper: “I mean AJ I know you’re dense but I always thought you could count. You say you’ve won more undisputed titles than I have won titles period. No. That’s wrong; I’ve been in this game for a long time. I am one of the longest running professional wrestlers in the AWA. I have been at this longer than anyone on the roster.”

Matt Tassel: “Ripper has been in the game a long time.”

Jesse Ventura: “And yet that is the first undisputed title he has won in six years.”

Matt Tassel: “There is no arguing with that this is the first top card title Ripper has held since he was the USHW Heavyweight Champion.”

:: AJ doesn’t seem impressed by what Ripper has said. ::

Ripper: “And MJW well your just being you so I’m not surprised with anything you said.”

:: MJW nods and shrugs accepting what Ripper has said::

Ripper: “Now I am aware that at this next Pay-Per-View I have a choice to make. I have to choose all the weapons that will be in that match. This is a very hard choice for me. I mean having to choose which weapons I want to use to inflict pain and suffering on the rest of you. That’s just so unlike me.”

:: Ripper looks saddened by this choice that he has to make. However, he quickly snaps back out of it. ::

Ripper: “Wait. No it’s not. It’s just like me. That is the other reason that I am out here I would like to announce the first weapon that will be in the match.”

:: Ripper pushes down the left armrest on his chair and it flips open. Ripper reaches in and pulls out his signature weapon. The three pronged cattle prod. ::

Ripper: “This will be the first weapon allowed in the match. Although I’m sure that is no surprise to anyone who knows me at all. Now if you don’t mind I have to go and pick some more weapons for this match.”

:: Ripper places the cattle prod back into the arm chair and places the pop corn down in his lap. Ripper then leans back even further and the chair begins to roll back a small electrical humming can be heard through the microphone. Ripper drives the chair back through the entrance gate leaving AJ and MJW looking back and forth between the entrance ramp and each other in a state of confusion:

Matt Tassel: “Well at least we know what the first weapon in the match will be.”

Jesse Ventura: “And that Ripper is going crazy.”

Matt Tassel: “What do you mean going?”
