Barker was good (esp for a guy in his 80s). I don't think Luke enjoyed simply because I don't think the Price is Right was/is big in Britain. I did like it, and the crowd did, too.
I'm thinking Cody has more potential than Ted now. He cut a good promo, and I haven't seen Ted do that, yet. Hope they beat DX to make them more legit.
Liked the Big Show/Mark Henry Body Slam challenge. So old school.

The Price is Right has been pretty damn big over here...Bruce Forsyth, a true legend owned tat show!
and your old guy who was the Raw host was actually fucking good. very on the ball..his bit with Jericho was damn entertaining.
have not watched the rest yet, have it on record. but i have always kinda found Ted a little dull on the mic, whilst Cody has had more success.
they are both new to it all though, both will be stars i reckon.

Honestly?
I'm tired of guest GMs. They are turning RAW into a main eventer side show. Games, goofs, parties, Cena, Orton, HHH.
That's it.
I watched the first 20 minutes of RAW and was so annoyed by the Price is Right skit they did. I want wrestling, not FUCKING SHIT!

I don't mind the guest GM gimmic. The only truly awful one was ZZ Top.
It's been good publicity for WWE, and it hasn't completely ruined the show.

RAW is a main event entertainment show. It is the WWE's showcase and we all know the 'E' in the WWE is what Vince is all about.
You want wrestling, watch SD and ECW and you should have a pretty good time.

I try to catch ECW, Smackdown and TNA. I bought a few RoH DVDs and I'm psyched about Nigel being WWE...hopefully ECW to start since they have such a small roster right now.
All I know is that I'd be upset if I paid good money for a RAW ticket and I had to put up with these shenanigans Vince wants. Besides Legacy are the only ones I find entertaining when it comes to matches. Esp. Orton. Triple HBK are getting a little blah. I hate Cena. I'm tired of HHH/Orton/Cena matches (singles, tags, triple threats). I LOVE Kofi though!
And as long as RAW gets a Jericho match in there...I'm good. P.S. I was never a fan of MVP but, I did watch him and Jericho from Monday and, I'm impressed with the guy

Alright, I watched Raw today when I got out of college. Bob Barker will always be a legend, and some of his stuff was pretty sweet, but there were other parts that annoyed me about it. I will say this though....Barker is so good that a couple times, listening to him, I felt like I was watching The Price is Right, not WWE Raw. Thats good on Bob Barkers part, because he's good at what he does, (entertain)....but bad for wrestling fans. I agree that Raw is more "entertaining" while Smackdown and ECW are more about wrestling. Personally, I think Raw is the weakest brand. I think Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger, Kofi and MVP should all be on ECW or Smackdown, while I think Kane, Finlay, Khali and Undertaker should be on Raw. Let the "wrestlers" be on the "wrestling" shows and let the "entertainers" be on the "entertaining" show. All in all, I wasn't that impressed with Raw. I love Smackdown the past few weeks. I've liked ECW, and I've been really enjoying TNA.  |
