The NEW AWA HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP

Ok, so you read it right>?

Myself, Bill and Timbo have been thinking of ways to get this place going. Ideas being thrown around and we went with this.

We are trying a 2nd title.

Outside of the world title hunt we think it might help if the guys around here had something else to work with.

we did not want a fixed US or IC title, we wanted something a little different.

the AWA HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP works like this:

• It can change hands at any time. If the current champion goes AWOL for say, a week, then one of the admins will sort something out, look arond the roster and find someone who has been putting in some effort and award them the belt
  
• it will always be fought under hardcore rules
  

This belt is going to be used to showcase the person who is trying in the AWA.

There does not need to be a feud going on for the belt to change, like i said if someone is holding the belt and drops the ball, the championship will change to someone who is RPing.

This is a trial and we will see how it goes.

ANYWAY

Slam, you got my vote for being the man who gets given the ball first...

...because you have been putting in the effort!

Hahaha, on 09-09-09, my boy Leland wins his first championship. BADASS! Enjoy this bro. The title idea was Billy Boy and Lukes idea. I thought it couldn't hurt, so I went along with the idea....It was Lukes idea to have him "given" the title, just so someone could win it immediately. I thought it was a perfect storyline and told him to write it up. He selected Slam to win the title, and I 100% agree with the decision. Great work Luke, for picking Slam for this....and Leland, good job around here lately. You deserve this bro. Keep up the good work and run with this....if you don't, NJD might hit you in the face with a sledgehammer and win the title for himself

I remember creating a Hardcore Title back in the day (possibly even WPWWF)... it was under the 24/7 rule. It basically got it's own constant thread... so all anybody had to do was roleplay and they'd win (assuming they wanted to win). So fifty title changes could have happened within an hour or so.

yeah, it might not be that constant here, will see how it goes.

Slam is the champ, we would not take the belt off him simply because someone RPed about fighting him or whatever, but if Slam was not about for a period of time and someone else was showing promise, they would probably get the belt.

It was Luke's idea to try another one. Then Luke's idea to do hardcore. Then Luke's idea to have it a 24/7 Hardcore title.
