Via Twitter, Jeff hasn't proclaimed innocence, but he's said that the issue was blown out of proportion. "Alot of exaggerations are out there today, don't believe everything you read 4 it is not true, I am at home and fine-thanks for your concern." and "The media is the media, I wish they would at least report the story correctly & accurately. I will make a statement later."
First of all, I'm thinking that Vince is probably thinking he dodged a major bullet. Now, maybe WWE kept him clean, and he was just waiting to leave so he could get stupid again... I don't know...
I'll always be a fan of Jeff Hardy, the wrestler. He's entertained me. I just wish the man could get his fucking act together.
I don't know all the details... it's possible that we'll never know all the details... it could be that Jeff was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I dunno. Maybe this was blown out of proportion. I really, really hope so... but I doubt it.
Fucking fuck.
If this doesn't blow over, I don't think we'll be seeing him back in WWE anytime soon...
This could be a rare case where wrestling IS the best thing for a wrestler. You hear so many cases of wrestlers getting burned out, and so taking time off is a good thing... now it seems like wrestling was the only thing keeping Jeff clean.
Ugh. I gotta go to work. Hopefully when I'm out I'll get some good news.
Former WWE superstar Jeff Hardy is in the Moore County jail this afternoon after being arrested on charges of trafficking in controlled prescription pills and possession of anabolic steriods.
Hardy, 32, was arrested on Friday after a search of his home yielded 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, powder cocaine and drug paraphernalia. His bail has been set at $125,000.
Hardy had been under investigation by the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics and select enforcement units and the Fayetteville Police Department led to Friday's arrest.
The charges against Jeff Hardy include:
- Felony trafficking in opium
- Two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance
- Felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance
- Felony possession of cocaine
- Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
