So Batista comes out and announces that he's there to say goodbye. Orton comes out and bashes Batista and says no one cares. Batista laughs. Orton wants to know why Batista is laughing. Batista tells Orton it's for two reasons. ONE, Orton is predictable....AND TWO....(Batista takes off his arm brace) Batista announces that he wasn't retiring from wrestling. He's going to Smackdown. Batista attacks Orton and sends him out of the ring. Batista then announces that before he heads to Smackdown, he's getting Orton in a match on Raw.

So, lets talk about this. Ok, the main event is now Batista vs. Orton. Who cares. Honestly, I've been tired of that feud for a while. Batista going to Smackdown though....

It bothers me. Why? Why take a bigger guy, who can't wrestle all that well, and add him to a show where there are some decent wrestlers? Having CM Punk as the champion over there is awesome....but, when you add Batista, one of smackdowns extremely loved superstars, to the mix, things don't look good for CM Punk. CM Punk vs. Taker vs. Batista? You know when Batista goes there, he's going to shoot right up to the main events. If anything, Batista will make the announcement that he's going after the title, and the WWE will hand feed Kane to Batista, to make Batista "earn" a title shot.

All in all, I'm not too happy about this announcement. Batista, while a huge fan favorite, and while an extremely huge man in general....he lacks wrestling ability, and honestly, I could care less about seeing him on TV.

If you ask me, the WWE needs a huge shake up. If it were my company, I would do this:

Give Raw either The Million Dollar Man as it's General Manager, ORRRR, have Stone Cold come back as it's GM. That would be awesome for ratings, and would cause so much drama on Raw. Then, I would have a huge ass roster split. New draft, and I would totally switch shit up.

Ill stick up for Batista. The guy clearly is not an awesome wrestler, but when the time has called for it and with someone else who can 'go', Batista has earn't his spot. In his awesome match with the Undertaker, the Deadman did not 'carry' him, they gelled. Same goes for his matches with HHH.

Anyway, right now there does not seem to be a World title spot open for him on any show. So im hoping on SD he gets into a non-title feud. It would be nice to see him turn heel. What would be great is if he turned heel and the WWE decided to push a fresh 'face' against him. How about Matt Hardy?

Regards JeriShow, they should be appering on ECW also. I know ECW is not heavy on tag teams, but having JeriShow on the er, show would be a huge boost.

The Hart Dynasty need more match and air time.

Bourne Vs Chavo could be a good lower/mid-card feud if they left that little guy out of it.

As for Trish pinning Beth, that sucks. Unless Trish is coming back full time, why push her?

Jericho's backstage skit with Trish was awesome.

Jericho is THE SUPERSTAR OF THE YEAR 2008 and should be for 2009. No question.

He has completely changed his character which is a huge step and huge risk, but it has worked. He removed all traces of 'Y2J' and has been constantly amazing in the ring.

Oh, and i love Big Shows knockout punch, sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet move.

If you ask me, Trish pinning Beth was alright. Beth isn't in a major feud right now, and Trish was the greatest womens champion/competitor maybe ever. I understand why they did it. If it were Mickie James, then I'd think it was stupid to let Trish get the pin.

As for Batista, I think I would like him more if he had a different finishing move. His finishing move now blows so bad. He cant even do the sitdown powerbomb without falling backwards. He can barely do the "sit down" part of the move. It's lame. Give him a more dominant finishing move, that doesn't make him look like a retard, and I might like him more.

anyways, i get what you say about Beth, but she is one of the few good female wrestlers the WWE has. So why use her to take a fall? She may not be in a feud but she should be.

you know what JeriShow should expand, having someone on each show they are 'aligned' with.

bring in a female (Beth to cover Raw, especially if she was contending for the belt or even the champ)

mid-carder male (Ziggler to cover SD, again as a IC contender/champion)

not sure about ECW cause they never show up there.

but this way the chosen ones would get to learn from Jericho and to an extent Big Show. It would also make a cool concept, with part of the group being allowed to travel across the brands.

I agree with you Luke. That would be badass. Dolph Ziggler is one of my favorites on SD. He's got a bright future. Ziggler vs. Morrison should be awesome!

I don't like Batista going to SmackDown because I don't want anything to hurt Punk's push. I fear it would.

I was okay with Beth taking the fall. Look what could come of it all: exposure, a potential alignment with JeriShow, and maybe this puts a chip on her shoulder and she vaults back into contention for the title (which she deserves to win back).

CM Punk is Superstar of the Year for 2009. He's been extremely over as a face and a heel, has 2 World Title reigns, and a contender for 2nd place feud of the year (HBK/'Taker has feud of the year sewn up). Jericho is great, but someone else is taking the honors this year: CM Punk.

Punk is great, but he is not on Jerichos pure professional level.

Punk was over as a face but not so much as a face champion...it did not take much to get the fans to boo him because we all knew it was the right thing to do. Ultimately Punk has not changed character, he has simply brought more of it out.

Jericho though, he went from rockstar to suited besk worker...the change is immense. And whilst Punk has been fucking great in the ring, Jericho has been phenominal(sp) on nearly every encounter.
