Edge kicks off the show with a killer promo. Really made me think about the history behind Edge/Cena. Having Cena not interrupt was a good call. I used to think Edge got cheers simply because he wasn't Cena. Now he gets cheered out of appreciation for how good of a heel he is.
The tag match was okay. I wonder if they will put over Matt a 3rd time. If so, Jeff's got to be gone. Not too excited for Punk/Kane as Punk going over is fairly obvious.
'Taker/Show was old school, which doesn't translate well nowadays. I love how they're putting over Show's punch, though. With the ref stopping the match, it puts it over as a truly legit and feared finisher, not just something used on smaller wrestlers. Pit him against a technical and have him work on Show's right arm the whole match. Good be really good.
Maryse is starting to remind me more and more of early heel Trish (she even bears somewhat of a resemblance). I hope her wrestling ability follows suit. Moving to RAW and working with Mickey and Beth (who is my girl now, since Luke quit) will help her.
Jeff's promo was weird, but it fits with who he is. It's not his strongest suit. What's with playing music during vignettes now? It happened with Orton the other night.
If the draft results take place after Backlash, why the hell is MVP defending against Ziggler? Ziggler won't win, and it makes the draft irrelevant.
The Cena hype machine was in full effect. The man can build up a match. Wish his wrestling could match his ability to hype.
The main event was okay. Priceless is a good team who should win the Unified Tag Titles soon. I can so see Batista turning and becoming a tweener or maybe even becoming the muscle for Legacy. Maybe he turns around and blames HHH for all of this and thinks Trips is holding him back again.
