Haven't watched it in over a month, but gave it a watch tonight (along with RAW and SD!, so 5 hours of wrestling tonight!).

The opening segment was solid. Bill Regal can cut a good heel promo, and I have been a Zack Ryder fan for a while (I follow him on Twitter, too. WWWYKI!). Christian looked fresh (way better than he looked against Dreamer a few months ago). His work with Yoshi showed a ton of promise.

Dreamer/Goldust vs. Kozlov/Jackson wasn't too good. The two big men need their opponents to bump for them. Dreamer needs hardcore to be watchable. Unsure about Goldust, though I respect that he got back into shape. Maybe he should go back to original Goldust where he was quasi-gay and used that to get in his opponents' heads?

Regal was good with Tiffany. No one shows anger/annoyance quite like the English (though they can't tan for shit). "Master Regal" lol. Striker might be the best commentator in the company. Regal/Yoshi wasn't that good. Lot of mistakes. They haven't developed any chemistry together, yet. Like Regal having his foot under the ropes.

Ryder has one of the best themes in the E. He also had a respectable match with Christian (wish I had seen their other encounters).

Overall, I see a lot of potential in ECW that I hadn't seen in a while.

Regal is a great heel and a great comedy face, but i would always opt for him as a heel. Regards the british not being able to tan...you have not seen me after a couple weeks on holiday, you would be eating your words...and probably trying to eat me.

Ryder is good, if Ziggler can evolve from his 'odd' gimmick into a legit mid carder, so can Ryder. Like with Ziggler, without really knowing it the gimmick is getting the guy into our heads. This is smart booking, which is good to see in the WWE (yes, i continue to be a rhyming genius)

i am also impressed with Dustin's ability to get into a decent shape. I would much rather see his freaky original gimmick back with the mind games, im not that into the stutering thing, but i guess it is good for comedy and appealing to the younger crowd which is what WWE is all about right now. But the true Goldust character was a stroke of brilliance and whilst i try not to live in the past, it would be good to see it back, mainly because it would actually contribute to the product, unlike other old gimmicks that simply hold fresh talent down.

I'm a huge Zack Ryder fan. I love the gimmick. AJ, you should have seen the title match, C-Man vs. Zack a few weeks ago. I was actually on the edge of my seat, thinking they were going to let Ryder win....it was close.

I've been pretty high on ECW for a while. I'm not a huge fan of their huge 4 man tag matches, like last week....but all in all, they're alright....I would like to see more done with Shelton Benjamin....He must have fucked up bad at some point because he's so fucking good, but can't catch a break. He gets dropped to ECW, and barely gets any TV time. Makes me sad.

C-Man and Yoshi were hilarious. "Thank You....Thank Youuu....Thank You....Thank Youuu....Yoshi, I told you before, this gets a little weird"........classic C-Man!

Luke with a tan...mmmm....I mean, NO! I mean, you never friended me back on Facebook, arsehole! And actually, I meant pure Brits don't down well (even more true for the Scots and Irish). You lucked out since you're mixed with a race that can have darker skin or you'd be pale as a vampire, mate.

Never thought they'd give Zack a chance to shine since his gimmick was "My New Haircut" meets "Night at the Roxbury," but they are and it's working. He's perfect to work with Christian because he's such a douchebag and C-Man would pounce all over that.
