Why you’re a champion? Or why you’re a coward?

:: The lights dim and the sound of a man panting as he runs can be heard. Sure enough the usual build up of music begins along with the biotechnic style images on the titantron. The arena is then plunged into total darkness along with a loud scream of “I’M RIPPER!” The titantron explodes in a shower of sparks and “Switchback” kicks up into full gear. Sure enough from the back emerges the former World Heavyweight Champion. Ripper is back to his normal attire minus the chains and padlocks that kept the AWA World title in place. ::

Jesse Ventura: “You know Matt I’m torn. On the one hand I hated Ripper as the champion. On the other hand I hate Slam as the champion.”

Matt Tassel: “So you don’t know who you’d rather have as the champion?”

Jesse Ventura: “Well I’d rather have MJ but failing that a small terrier puppy is a good choice as well.”

Matt Tassel: “You’re trying to say that a small terrier would be a better champion than either Ripper or Slam?”

Jesse Ventura: “Pretty much.”

Matt Tassel: “Great commentary Jesse.”

:: Ripper makes his way down the entrance ramp slapping hands with the plethora of fans that are leaning over to touch the hardcore madman. As he reaches the ring Ripper simply slides under the bottom. He then grabs a microphone from the ring announcer and goes to address the audience as the music dies down::

Ripper: “Now it occurs to me that this coming Monday I have a challenge. A challenge I have faced many times before and probably will again.”

Matt Tassel: “That’s right on Monday Ripper will face the Hardcore Champion Kevin Kash.”

Ripper: “This Monday I will have to put all my effort into overcoming obstacles that have been placed before me on my way to the top.”

Matt Tassel: “Ripper certainly showing a lot of respect for Kevin Kash.”

Jesse Ventura: “I don’t trust him.”

Ripper: “On Monday I am meeting with my stock broker to look over my portfolio.”

:: The fans explode with cheers as Ripper looks back and forth around them::

Jesse Ventura: “Told you.”

Ripper: “Are you guys really that interested in my stock? I’m quite honestly surprised I would have thought you’d have been more interested in how on Monday I’m going to walk down this ramp; slide into this ring; take Kevin Kash and beat him senseless and then advance in the ruler of the ring tournament but if you really want to hear about my stocks I’ll go right ahead and tell you.”

:: Ripper stops and smiles towards the audience as they begin to cheer at Rippers blunt and simply proposition of beating Kevin Kash.::

Ripper: “You see Kevin Kash is a whiney lowly person and I use person in the very loosest sense of the word. A man...Again loose sense. A man who has somehow come to hold a title when there are much better people on the roster, like Johnny London.”

:: Again the fans explode with cheers as they agree with what Ripper has to say in regards to Kevin Kash.::

Ripper: “It also occurs to me that this Ruler of the Ring tournament for me is nothing more than a facade. A demonstration of my in ring prowess if you will. You see I already have a world title shot tucked safely away in my safe deposit box. My guaranteed rematch for the world championship. However, it occurs to me that simply pulling that one out of the bag waving it around and demanding a shot is such a Windsor thing to do that I’m not going to do it.”

Jesse Ventura: “Did he just use Windsor as an adjective?”

Matt Tassel: “I think so.”

Jesse Ventura: “The cad.”

Ripper: “Now it also occurs to me that in some strange Bermuda triangle-esque turn of events Kash has somehow ended up with the AWA Hardcore title. A title that should belong to someone with at least a modicum of skill that’s why I want to challenge Kevin Kash. Now I am aware that at Anarchy we already have a match and that match already has something on the line so I propose another match on the same night.”

Jesse Ventura: “While I would like to see Kevin Kash wrestle twice the idea of looking at Ripper once sickens me.”

Ripper: “So what do you say Kash? Are you going to show the people why you’re a champion? Or why you’re a coward?”

"Kashmir" by Led Zepplin plays throughout the speakers as fans boo loud at the sight of the 2 time AWA Hardcore Champion Kevin Cash,who is clad in Black Pinstripe Dress Pants,and a Black T-Shirt with a picture of Anthony Jordan with a big red 'X' through it,on the back it says 'F**K Anthony' and 'NEW CONNECTION' under it,the belt is strapped around his waist as he walks up the steps and into the ring.


MTMT: "Well it looks like Cash has finally grown a sack and stod up to Ripper."


Jesse Ventura: "What are you talking about,Matt? Cash stood up to Ripper before."


MTMT: "He hit him with brass knuckles"


Jesse: "Still."


Cash is in the center of the ring as the music dies,he produces a microphone from his pocket and begins to speak


Kevin Cash: "I'm guessing,like all of these other rejects here,that you expect me to accept your puny little challange?"


Fans Boo as Ripper nods


Cash: "Well my answer is going to be simple and short,my answer is no!"


Fans Boo once more



MTMT: "Coward"



Jesse: "Cash is not a coward,he just doesn't want to waste his energy on Ripper twice"



Cash: "The reason is no because of 2 things...

... 1 is that you are not worthy enough to step into the ring twice in a row against me! You weren't even worthy enough to hold the belt,it is not your toy,Kennedy,its a priceless object made by the man who made the heavens and earth of the AWA universe,Mr. Timothy Draven!...




...The second reason is that I am a very busy man,unlike you,i have a night life,instead of staying in the basement of the arenas with that Dinosaur,Croc!"

Fans boo as ripper has a sour look on his face

Cash: "so simply put,i will beat you and advance to face Sam and destroy him,and become a duel champion,and you will be in the unemployment line"

Fans boo as Cash spits on the ground infront of ripper and leaves,will he?

BIG EGO hits and the boos lift even further, Kash stops in the ring and smiles as Ripper prepares for what could be a sneak attack.
But there is no need, MJ Windsor simply walks out onto the stage with Khris Heaven by his side. MJ shakes his head at the booing fans as the duo make their way down to the ring

Whilst i have no reason to have to explain or justify why i am out here, i do have a couple of things i want to say...

...firstly, Ripper...by order of the Owner and CEO of the AWA...im sure you know him, Mr Timothy Draven...

...there will be no Hardcore Championship title match for you on monday night!!!

Kevins championship is not on the line during your tournement match and it will not be on the line against you later in the night either!

So everything Kevin has just said stands true...

...except for one piece of information...


MJ moves the mic away from his mouth and talks to Khris. Khris then leans over to Kash and whispers in his ear. As she talks, Kash's facial expressions change, from pleased, to concerned, to confusion and finally to acceptance.
MJ then passes Kash the mic and nods to him

A moment ago i got ahead of myself and made an error. What i meant to say is that on monday night i will be there to make sure Michael walks out as the New Undisputed Champion, and that Ripper, i will beat you on monday night and i will advance in the tournement, i will beat whoever i have to to ensure that the right man reaches and wins the finals, and that man is me! Because i will then advance to the main event of Ruler of the Ring and be Michaels opponent and i will do the right thing for the New Connection and the right thing for the AWA!

Hey! Windsor is the right man for the job and Kevin Kash understands that! Everyone, including you Matt, has their place in this company, and more importantly everyone has to earn their place in Mr Dravens world! Kevin Kash is simply being smart, he knows it will pay off in the end, hell he is wearing gold isn't he?!?!

And after Monday night, and just like after the main event at the Ruler of the Ring pay per view, the New Connection will stand before you with me holding the AWA Hardcore Championship and MJ Windsor being your new Undisputed World Champion!!!

* Before Ripper can say anything else, "God's Gonna Cut You Down" by Johnny Cash blares through the arena. The fans explode even louder with boo's. *


MTMT: I can't believe I call this man my friend. I've known Timmy for a long time, but his recent actions might be an all time low for him.


Jesse Ventura: Are you kidding me? Timothy Draven is back, and has The New Connection running the whole f'ing show!


MTMT: Did you really just use an Ayatolla saying?


Jesse Ventura: You'd better believe it!


MTMT: Wow!


* Timothy Draven steps out on the stage. He's decked out in a nice armani suit. He walks down the ramp, with a huge smile across his face. He climbs up the steps, and slowly enters the ring. The entire time, MJ Windsor, Khris Heaven, and Kevin Kash are clapping for the CEO. Timothy Draven enters the ring and fixes his suit. He reaches inside his suit pocket and pulls out his custom made, diamond studded microphone. *


Timothy Draven: QUIET!


* This of course, gets the fans roaring with boo's. Timothy Draven raises his left hand. *


Timothy Draven: I SAAAAAAAID....QUIET! That means shut your fucking mouths or I'll never bring the AWA back to this shithole!


* The fans are flipping out. "You're an asshole" chants start up. Timothy Draven just stands there with a grin across his face. *


Timothy Draven: Ripper, what Michael said was true. You're not getting a title shot Monday night....and there's one reason, and one reason only why you're not getting it.....


* The fans have quieted right down now. *


Timothy Draven: BECAUSE A PIECE OF SHIT LIKE YOU DOESN'T DESERVE IT!


* The New Connection all laughs, enjoying the moment. The fans are chanting at Timothy Draven once again. *


Timothy Draven: Understand this Ripper....I never wanted you as the AWA Undisputed World Champion....that was Jonas Lee's doing....and now, he is gone from the AWA....I'm running....no, THE NEW CONNECTION IS RUNNING THINGS AROUND HERE....and as long as we are running things....you won't be getting any title shots. Understand this Ripper....there are some scumbags in this world....it's just the way it is....but guys like you and the Slams....you guys take it to a whole new level....you guys are even worse than scumbags....you guys are the lowest form of scum in my eyes.


MTMT: Wow, Timmy's really letting Ripper have it.


Jesse Ventura: I know, isn't it great?

Timothy Draven: So Monday night, Kevin Kash is going to take you out of the tournament....and then, MJ Windsor is going to defeat Slam 2 and become the greatest champion this AWA has ever seen!

[SLAM II]

The crowd stands up going wild as there AWA Undisputed Champion comes charging out onto the ramp holding the AWA championship high into the air.[/color]

-MTMT- "And now our champion!"

-Jesse Ventura- "Great, does he not have somewhere to vandalize or get high?"

-MTMT- "And what let all these men converse on how there going to plan on taking his belt away? What type of champion woudl that make him?"

-Jesse Ventura- "A smart champion!"

Slam 2 takes a microphone before he even gets into the ring and he points down into the ring squinting his eyes.[/color]

-Slam 2- "The three smallest dicks I've ever seen!"

The crowd cheers as Slam 2 chuckles and slides into the ring. He holds the belt out in front of Windor's face who was about to speak.[/color]

-Slam 2- "This means I get to talk before you dumb dick, so be wise sir and shut the fuck up! While I was backstage walking around doing God knows what I'm usually do I seem to hear a lot of people talking about taking my....MY...championship title! M-I-N-E! mine fuckers and I do plan on keeping it that way"

The crowd cheers as all three members of the Connection shake their heads in disagreement.[/color]

-Timothy Draven- "Slam..."

The microphone from Draven's hand falls to the ground as Slam takes the belt and taps it out of his hand. The diamond microphone loses some of the diamonds and Slam 2 hled the title back into the face of Draven.[/color]

-Slam 2- "Ha-ta-tah-ta...Shut the fuck up your on my time Timmbo! I ain't your average champion Draven because I will not second guess to slap the Windsor jizz taste from your fucking mouth! Kash wake up boy smell the coffea the longer you stay with these two guys the more likely your going to get fucked over son, and trust me don't ever think abut getting a chance at this title boy...."

Slam 2 taps the facing on the plate as he adjusts it to his shoulder.[/color]

-Slam 2- "Your a second rate superstar to them, trust me your alot better handeling buisness yourself...but to each their own"

Slam 2 looks from Kash to Ripper.[/color]

-Slam 2- "I like you Ripper no lie. And if thigns were in my hands I'd let you go have another round with me, hardcore 1 on , with no...NO...Interuptions from the jealous kids!"

The crowd cheers at the respect from Slam 2 to Ripper. Ripper grins and nods in agreement.[/color]

-Slam 2- "Windsor I'll see you Monday, I really don't have anthing to say to other then I hope your ready"

Windsor mouths off microphone, 'oh im ready!'. Slam 2 smiled and turned his attention to Draven who had now picked back up his diamond stud microphone and the red in his face had lightened.[/color]

-Slam 2- "As for you ya big nosed son of a whore...FUCK YOU!! Its sad to run a company like this to where the only way someone is to jump at your every command like a fucking dog, suck the dick of Draven is the slogan I think. Sad really sad I have to be apart of a company like this..."

Slam points out to the fans who cheer.[/color]

-Slam 2- "Its sad these hard working American's waste their money on a ticket to come see some great superstars preform just to watch you with your untouchable army of pricks, turn the table to your advantage! GROW SOME FUCKING BALLS WINDSOR!! KASH!! Do it your own fucking way, sure your way isn't right, but when your on the same team as the CEO who could pull out any stop to turn the advantages for yall, thats low...FUCKING LOW!"

The fans cheer for Slam 2 who grins and steps proudly up into the face of Draven.[/color]

-Slam 2- "So I've been thinking as a main-event for the show following this one the champion demands a match, and I want you to think about it really hard because it involves you Draven! The Undisputed AWA champion versus The New Connection in a steel-cage match!"

The crowd goes wild! The new Connection all look at each other grinning but Slam 2 grabs the head of the CEO and jerks it back to his face.[/color]

-Slam 2- "Its rude to turn your back on the champion, Timbo!"

-MTMT- "Wow! The champion requests a match against the whole CONNECTION!! IN A STEEL-CAGE!!"

Draven jerks his head out of Slam 2's hand, blood red in the face.[/color]

-Slam 2- "Think about it give your answer at Anarchy this week, thats if you men think you have the balls to do it. Four against one whats the odds? I don't know I wasn't ever good in numreal classes...But it seems that things are stacked against me...Or not I'm a cheeky bastard! So...Monday...Answer...Don't let me come hunt for you...Windsor good luck you fruity faggit your going to need it"

Slam 2 drops the microphone and holds out his left hand, he then hawkes a back and spits into it. The CEO looks at it in disgust and backs away but not quick enough for Slam 2 who grabs him by his tie with his right hand pulls him forward and runs the left hand over Draven's cheek! Slam 2 drops quickly and rolls out of the ring while the Connection jump at him from behind the ropes. Slam 2 laughs and flips them all off in the ring, he holds his title high into the air as the crowd goes wild, and the champion turns taking his leave.[/color]
