I watched Raw today. I have to be honest here....I thought it was one of the better Raw's they've had. Jesse Ventura is THE MAN! By far, my favorite "guest host" to date. He did a fantastic job. Raw felt like a wrestling show, not an entertaining show.
Orton is playing the perfect heel right now. Does everything he can to get in the battle royal....gets tossed out by Kofi....his facial expressions are perfect. I also liked how Shaemus kept his distance during the battle royal....then went to grab Orton, and Orton dropped him on his ass....made Orton still look like THE HEEL on Raw....which honestly, it should be that way.
This idea of a TLC PPV bored the shit out of me. However, I love the idea now. It's not ALL TLC matches. I like that. They're having a TLC match, a Tables match, a Ladders match and a chairs match....thats good shit.
Why were all the Smackdown guys on Raw? Why didn't McIntyre get a chance to enter the battle royal? Why didn't Undertaker show up? Ohhhh, thats right, because he only puts in little effort....
DX vs. JeriShow will be awesome. No doubt. I would however, LOVE to see HBK turn on HHH during the match. That would OWN!
What's happened to Carlito? I miss that guy. He's got so much potential.
The Divas sucked again....some chick returned....who cares....the dumb bitch couldn't even get the turkey suit off of her....I wish I could take a few of the good divas and send them to TNA.
Now, lets talk Shaemus being the new number one contender....
I FUCKING LOVE IT!
Why? Because of John Cenas reaction. He laughed at Shaemus and said "I have a hard time taking you serious. Why should I? Because you almost crippled a retired wrestler turned ring announcer? Because you retired someone half your size? Because you beat up weak people? You've done nothing so far for me to take you seriously"....that was awesome. It immediately gave this feud some heat....because Shaemus, while built, and great in the ring....he HASN'T DONE ANYTHING....and instead of acting like he's some badass who's been destroying everyone.....John Cena made the feud realistic....he called out Shaemus as not doing anything impressive yet....and then, Shaemus beat his ass....John Cena called out Shaemus, Shaemus came back and made himself look dominant. I loved it! Great stuff. I look forward to this feud. I'm sure it'll last more than one month....I'm also sure Cena will beat him at TLC....but right now, the WWE doesn't have anyone to step up and face Cena....so Shaemus in my eyes, might as well get a chance to shine.
On my last note.....
John Cena vs. CM Punk....FUCKING AWESOME MATCH! Both guys were great in the match. I loved it. Lots of great spots for both guys. Cena looked good, Punk looked better.....Cena couldn't beat Punk....he couldn't make him tap.....he had to hit the AA off the ropes....incredible match with an incredible ending. I was actually alright with Cena winning because while yes, he won....Punk still came out looking awesome.
